In the proposed method, temperature of each image is estimated from background image and target image of certain wavelength band, and then temperature image is generated by combining estimated temperature information of each image. Finally, synthesized temperature image is converted into radiance image of three wavelength bands.","PeriodicalId":413646,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Conference on Electronics, Information, and Communication (ICEIC)","volume":"23 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124034830","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The aim of this paper is to investigate the potential features in human behavior to facilitate the early diagnosis of MCI. In order to extract specific features from lifelogs, we collected data of activity and sleep using Fitbit's wrist band worn day and night from 12 subjects, for 12 week each. These data were analyzed using the SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Science) for verification and 12 total numbers of the significant features are extracted, further these features used for classification based on artificial neural networks (ANNs). ANNs with 8 input neurons (extracted features), 4 hidden neurons, and output neurons (diagnosis) were used to classify the patients. The results indicate that lifelog-based classifier have a good capacity (AUC=0.81 ±0.08) to discriminate MCI patients from healthy controls.","PeriodicalId":413646,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Conference on Electronics, Information, and Communication (ICEIC)","volume":"47 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115572975","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Our asynchronous timing and the adjustable threshold voltage of the comparator improves the conversion rate by reducing undesired undershoot and overshoot of the residual signal, keeping the advantages of the CBSC circuit such as low supply voltage operation and low power consumption. Post-layout simulation results show that the signal-to-noise and distortion ratio (SNDR) is 64.9 dB and a spurious-free dynamic range (SFDR) is 69.7 dB at the sampling rate of 3 MS/s and the Nyquist rate input frequency. The chip is designed with a 0.18 μm CMOS process and has an effective area of 0.25 mm2 and a power consumption of 1.6 mW at 1.8Vsupply.","PeriodicalId":413646,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Conference on Electronics, Information, and Communication (ICEIC)","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114181788","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It provides a method which utilizes different feature detection algorithms to detect various key points. And then we measure saliency strength of every points to pick out more stable feature points and generate a hybrid map based on Delaunay triangles among these points. However, hash-based data structures have an intrinsic problem of collision, where different keys have the same index of a hash table. As the load factor of the hash table increases, the number of collisions increases. Elements that could not be stored because of the collision cause failures in returning values. Variant structures such as multi-hashing, cuckoo hashing, and d-left hashing have been studied, but none of the structures solve completely the collision problem. In this paper, we claim that a functional Bloom filter can replace a hash table. While the hash table requires to store each input key itself or the signature of each input key in addition to the return value, the functional Bloom filter can store the return value only, since different combinations of Bloom filter indexes can work as the signature of each input key. Performance evaluation results show that the functional Bloom filter is more efficient than hash-based data structures in storing more number of elements into a fixed size memory and hence in producing less failures.","PeriodicalId":413646,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Conference on Electronics, Information, and Communication (ICEIC)","volume":"46 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114531483","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Buffer insertion is required in clock tree to prevent signal degradation and satisfy slew constraints. Also, buffer sizing minimizes power and skew in clock tree network. In this paper, we proposed slew-aware fast buffer insertion/sizing methodology in CTS based on DME to meet the skew constraints. However, branch hazards, conditional and unconditional, still limit the efficiency of most ILP techniques. Compiler techniques such as loop unrolling, software pipelining, and trace scheduling are being used to increase the amount of parallelism available in systems with fairly predictable branches, while predicated instructions have been useful in eliminating branch hazards in specific cases. The limitations imposed on ILP by branch hazards, however, are significant in large blocks of codes or, at best, hidden at the expense of processor resources. As a result, researchers are exploring the techniques of approximate computing, which when applied, would be suitable for only fault-tolerant systems. Some are also working on the methods of code approximation, which mainly involves hazard minimization by distribution over specific parts of code segments. In this work, we propose and demonstrate a novel branch hazard distribution technique — Symbolic Execution using Approximate Computing (SEAC). We applied the proposed technique to a test program and ran simulation experiments using the Detailed CPU model in gem5 simulator. Simulation results show that SEAC is 3.57, 1.95 and 1.32 times better than the best, among the tested conventional ILP techniques, based on speedup, energy saving, and branch hazard distribution coefficient respectively.","PeriodicalId":413646,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Conference on Electronics, Information, and Communication (ICEIC)","volume":"79 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126245843","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These attractive services for human society require higher channel capacity and reliability of the system. Cooperative communication (CC) is one of the promising technique to acquire higher channel capacity by overcoming multipath fading and assure the reliability of the system. Most of existing works examine CC through theory or simulation which fails to incorporate real environment problems. The proposed research work analyzes experimental performance of cooperative Communication (CC) in comparison with direct communication (DC) in lab environment. The setup was created in a lab that encompasses several Universal Software Radio Peripheral (USRP) and LabVIEW for experimental analysis. Q-PSK modulation scheme have been used to transmit the text message using amplify and forward (AF) relaying mode. The maximum ratio combining (MRC) method is employed to combine SNR received from multiple paths at the receiver end. Comparison was made among DC, single-relay CC, and multi-relay CC to examine its effect on channel capacity. Besides, this work aims to seek the optimal position of the relays by changing the position of the relay to overlook considerable effects on the receiver end. Several experiments have been made to assess the performance of the overall system in a lab environment. The results clearly reveals that multi relay CC offers increased channel capacity and reliability of the system as compared to single-relay CC and DC.","PeriodicalId":413646,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Conference on Electronics, Information, and Communication (ICEIC)","volume":"81 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124098768","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
