Este problema no es ajeno a Mexico y mucho menos a Ciudad Juarez donde se desarrollo esta investigacion. Visualizando desde la arquitectura, la necesidad de generar edificios sostenibles que puedan mitigar el sobre explotamiento de los mantos freaticos, se desarrollo la idea de utilizar el sistema del techo escudo como captador pluvial, creando asi un modelo multifuncional que tuviera una captacion pluvial eficiente y un mejor comportamiento termico. Para validar dicha primicia se desarrollo una investigacion aplicada de corte cuantitativo, donde se elaboraron tres modelos experimentales con la capacidad de medir la cantidad de lluvia cosechada y el comportamiento termico en el interior de los mismos, con la finalidad de comparar la combinacion del techo escudo con la captacion pluvial y su comportamiento por separado. EnglishThe fresh water supply is a problem in various parts of the world. The shortage of this resource is evident, as seen by the World Economic Forum´s Global Risks Report (2018) which states that in the last decade the water crisis has always been one of the top five global risks in terms of social impact. This problem is not foreign to Mexico and much less so to Ciudad Juarez where this research was carried out. Visualizing this problem from an architectural point of view, there is a need to create sustainable buildings that can mitigate the overexploitation of the water table. Therefore, the idea to use a double roof system as a rainwater collector was developed, and a multifunctional model with efficient rainwater catchment and better thermal behavior was created. To validate these first steps, an applied quantitative study was carried out in which three experimental models were developed to measure the amount of rainwater harvested and the thermal behavior within the models, in order to compare the combination of the double roof with and without rainwater catchment.","PeriodicalId":41346,"journal":{"name":"Revista Habitat Sustentable","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.5,"publicationDate":"2019-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"45327946","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

El objetivo de la investigacion aqui presentada es demostrar como a partir del diseno y el uso de humedales artificiales, como tecnologias de tratamiento a las aguas que ingresan a las lagunas urbanas de Concepcion, se genera un mejoramiento ambiental de estas lagunas y un incremento de la biodiversidad en el entorno. El analisis del cuerpo de agua se basa principalmente en un analisis planimetrico, a traves de la observacion y el registro fotografico, y en un estudio de los indicadores de calidad fisicoquimica -tales como nitrogeno total (NT) y fosforo (P)- y ambiental, que se evaluara con la presencia de macrofitas. Dentro de los principales aportes constatados, destaca que la instalacion de los humedales artificiales antes de la entrada a la laguna disminuye considerablemente el poder contaminante de las aguas ingresantes y, con ello, la cadena de deterioro termina, mejorando el ecosistema urbano. De esta forma, la propuesta deviene un eficiente instrumento para aumentar la biodiversidad y la calidad de vida de las personas. EnglishIn Concepcion, Chile there are five urban lakes that provide different environmental services (recreation, occasional water supplies for various purposes, rainwater accumulation ponds), but very specifically they constitute biodiversity spaces and this is where their substantial and unique contribution lies for the city. The objective of the research presented here is to demonstrate how, based on the design and use of artificial wetlands as technologies to treat the waters entering Concepcion´s urban lakes, an environmental improvement is made to theses lakes and the biodiversity of the surrounding environment increases. The analysis of the bodies of water was mainly based on a planimetric analysis, through observation and a photographic record, and a study of physicochemical quality indicators - such as total nitrogen (TN) and phosphorus (P) - and environmental quality, which was evaluated with the presence of macrophytes. Among the main contributions established, it is noteworthy to mention that the installation of artificial wetlands before lake entrances significantly reduces the polluting power of incoming waters and the chain of deterioration ends, thereby improving the urban ecosystem. In this way, the proposal becomes an efficient instrument to increase biodiversity and people´s quality of life.","PeriodicalId":41346,"journal":{"name":"Revista Habitat Sustentable","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.5,"publicationDate":"2019-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"45154045","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Estos son mayoritariamente edificios previos a la entrada en vigor de Codigo Tecnico de Edificacion, por lo que son poco eficientes energeticamente y poseen una elevada superficie vidriada. Las puertas y ventanas suelen ser los primeros elementos a sustituir en las renovaciones de edificios y presentan una oportunidad de mejora. Para ello, el vidrio puede ser analizado segun su configuracion, unido a la inclusion de tratamiento de capa en algunas de las caras (bajo emisivo), y mediante los parametros caracteristicos: transmitancia termica, coeficiente de ganancia termica solar y transmision luminosa. En este articulo, se analiza la sustitucion de vidrios monoliticos sencillos, por vidrios de doble vidrio sin tratamiento de capa o bajo emisivo, analizados por orientaciones. Se estudian tres climas mediterraneos con diferentes severidades de invierno y verano en Espana (Barcelona, Sevilla y Malaga). En cuanto a la configuracion y tratamiento de capa del vidrio, en calefaccion, se obtiene un menor consumo energetico con el vidrio sin tratamiento de capa con mayor transmitancia termica, y en refrigeracion, con el bajo emisivo. Por otro lado, si se analizan los parametros caracteristicos, un menor consumo de calefaccion se consigue con una transmitancia termica baja, factor solar alto y transmision luminosa baja, y en refrigeracion, por el contrario, con una transmitancia alta, factor solar bajo y transmision luminosa alta, por lo que es la combinacion de ambas estaciones la que dicta los valores optimos. En iluminacion, un menor consumo se obtiene con la transmision luminosa y factor solar mayores. EnglishOffice buildings in Spain represent 33% of the total energy consumption of building stock.
