First, tournaments were founded, which later began to be combined into tours. At the same time, the so-called majors remain the pinnacle of both the men's and women's golf calendar. Among men, in particular, there is the so-called Championship of the Professional Golf Association (PGA Championship), which is held exclusively for professional golfers. Accordingly, it has its own characteristic features, which were formed over a long historical period. The purpose of the study was to characterize the historical features of the formation of the Championship of the Professional Golf Association and its current state. Materials and methods: analysis and synthesis, historical method, systematic approach, theoretical interpretation and explanation. Results and conclusion. A key date in the history of the Championship of the Professional Golf Association is 1916, when the tournament was founded by the Professional Golf Association of America and it entered into the Championship of the Professional Golf Association Tour. The tournament is held annually and during the entire history only in 1917, 1918 and 1943, it did not take place due to the World Wars. During 1916-1958, the Championship of the Professional Golf Association was held in the format of match play (play in pairs for the elimination of one of the participants). Since 1958 until today, professional golfers play for the championship in the so-called “stroke play” format (a game for counting the number of strokes on each hole, the participant with the least number of strokes wins). The format of the playoff round, which is held on the condition that the participants in the final are equal in points, also changed during the development of the tournament. Thus, at first, the playoff took place on additional holes until one of the participants won, and today its format involves playing on three mandatory holes. In 1998, the Championship of the Professional Golf Association became a part of the Championship of the Professional Golf Association European Tour, another of golf's most prestigious tours. Today, the prize pool of the tournament is $15 million, which is the second largest award in the majors. At the same time, there have been no significant changes in the format of the Championship of the Professional Golf Association and its calendar in the last twenty years. For a long time, the tournament starts in May and is the second major among the Championship of the Professional Golf Association Tour calendar. At the same time, in 2020 and 2021, the tour experienced a decrease in total revenues as a result of measures caused by the COVID pandemic","PeriodicalId":413454,"journal":{"name":"Ukraïnsʹkij žurnal medicini, bìologìï ta sportu","volume":"67 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123370738","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Materials and methods. Indicators of competitive activity of highly qualified teams in 22 games of the 2018 World Cup and indicators of competitive activity of qualified teams in 38 games were analyzed. Quantitative indicators of execution and implementation of technical and tactical actions were identified and their effectiveness was calculated in five groups of indicators. Results and discussion. The average indicators of the duration of the game of teams of high qualification are smaller both in the total time of the game and in the indicators of \"net\" time. The number of executions and the effectiveness of one-point shots are higher in skilled teams, but the efficiency of the specified component is higher in highly skilled teams. The performance of two-point shots (number of shots, effectiveness and efficiency) is higher in highly skilled teams. In the indicators of the adjacent group, significant differences were recorded only in the total number of losses per game, which confirms the high intensity of the game in the competitions of highly qualified teams. The study of the differences in the indicators of the tactical group revealed that the skilled teams reliably prevail in the number of offensive actions with the help of individual actions. However, at the same time, the efficiency indicators are better in highly qualified teams. A study of the indicators of conducting attacks with the help of group tactical actions showed that the advantage in almost all indicators is on the side of highly skilled teams, except for the number of one-point shots and the efficiency of the implementation of two-point shots. Differentiation of group tactical actions by duration (number of passes) showed that highly skilled teams prefer longer attacking actions in order to bring the player to a comfortable position for a shot. Conclusion. Characteristic features of the structure and content of the competitive activity of teams of different qualifications are a shorter duration of the game, a smaller number of attacks and throws by highly qualified teams, higher indicators of the effectiveness and efficiency of throws by highly qualified teams, and the absence of differences in the effectiveness of free throws. Qualified teams have significantly more turnovers. The overall quantitative indicators of execution and effectiveness, indicators of execution and effectiveness of one-point shots during the use of individual tactical actions by players of highly qualified teams are significantly lower (p <0.01) than the mentioned indicators of qualified teams. It was found that the group tactical actions of highly qualified teams are aimed at completing attacks with a two-point shot, which in most cases is confirmed by a significant advantage (р <0.01) over the indicators of quantitative","PeriodicalId":413454,"journal":{"name":"Ukraïnsʹkij žurnal medicini, bìologìï ta sportu","volume":"79 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132552652","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Materials and methods. 53 children aged 14 to 17 years old with orthodontic pathology were examined. The state of oral hygiene was assessed by the OHI-S index, the intensity of carious lesions of the teeth – by the index of carious, filled and removed teeth, and the structural-functional acid resistance of tooth enamel – according to the enamel resistance test with an assessment by a computer program. The children were given measures for sanitation and professional oral hygiene. Orthodontic pathology was treated using the vestibular bracket systems. A year later, the indices and the increase in the intensity of caries were determined again. Results and discussion. The average index of the structural-functional acid resistance of tooth enamel was 4.40 ± 0.26 points, while 15 children (28.3%) had a high level (the enamel resistance test index 1.92 ± 0.24 points), in 26 children (49.1%) the level was average (the enamel resistance test value 4.35 ± 0.10 points), 9 children (17.0%) and 3 children (5.7%) had low (6.36 ± 0.15 points) and very low (8.33 ± 0.33 points) levels. The index of carious, filled and removed teeth in all children was 3.87 ± 0.29. In children with a high level of the structural-functional acid resistance of enamel, the initial index of carious, filled and removed teeth was significantly (p<0.05) the lowest and amounted to 2.23 ± 0.47, in children with an average level – 4.04 ± 0.39, with a low level – 4.7 ± 0.54, with very low – 6.33 ± 1.45. A year later, the overall rate of caries intensity significantly (p<0.05) increased to 5.55 ± 0.43. In children with a high level of the structural-functional acid resistance of enamel, the index of carious, filled and removed teeth was again significantly (p<0.05) the lowest and amounted to 2.93 ± 0.43, with an average level of structural-functional acid resistance it was 5.15 ± 0.38, with a low and very low level – 9.22 ± 0.52 and 11.00 ± 1.53. The indices of the increase in the intensity of the carious lesion was respectively 0.47; 1.12; 4.33 and 4.67. Only 4 children (7.5%) had a high level of the structural-functional acid resistance, that is, the number of children with such level decreased by 3.8 times, 23 children (43.4%) had an average level of the structural-functional acid resistance, at the same time low and very low level of structural-functional acid resistance was established in 20 (37.7%) and 6 children (11.3%), which, respectively, is by 2.2 and 2 times higher than the primary values. According to the repeated enamel resistance test in children with a high level of the structural-functional acid resistance, this index was 1.75 ± 0.48 points, with an average level – 4.17 ± 0.08 points, with low and very low – 6.35 ± 0.11 and 8.50 ± 0.22 points. The purpose of the study was to establish the nature of psychophysiological indicators of students with different types of autonomic regulation in conditions of physical and mental activity. Materials and methods. The article presents the results of a study of the psychophysiological indicators of 128 students (65 boys and 63 girls) of the Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University aged 17-25 years. All students had psychophysiological indicators before and after mental and physical activity measured with the device for psychophysiological research «PFI-2». The students were divided into groups according to the types of vegetative regulation, according to the method of express assessment of the functional state of regulatory systems according to N. I. Shlyk. All students had indicators of heart rate variability at rest on short recordings of the cardiac signal (2 minutes), obtained with the help of the rhythm «MPFI-rhythmograph-1». Proofreading method according to the method of M. V. Krivonosov et al. (2001) was used as a mental load, which consisted of finding and selecting a specific letter in test tables for 20-25 minutes. Aerobic exercise consisted of taking a distance of 2 km on a rowing machine Concept-2 for 10 minutes. Results and discussion. The obtained results showed that after the mental load, the psychophysiological indicators of students of all groups did not change reliably, which led to the formation of adaptation mechanisms. However, only the students of group 3 have grouped reliable changes in some indicators of the correct sample, which reflects the state of development of mobilization. After physical exertion, changes in individual and typological indicators were observed in representatives of groups 1 and 3. A significant decrease in the indicators of functional mobility of nervous processes and the strength of nervous processes indicates the mobilization of the body's reserves. The value of the dynamics of nervous processes in group 1 significantly increased after physical exertion, which indicates the development of a state of fatigue. There was also a significant increase in the number of anticipated/delayed reactions in group 3, which indicates the predominance of excitation processes over inhibition. After physical exertion, no significant changes in psychodynamic parameters were observed, but in group 2, the time of the complex simple visual-motor reaction significantly increased, which indicates the development of a state of fatigue. After physical exercise, the students of group 3 have observed significant changes in the values of the correction test indicators, which indicates the mobilization of the body's reserves. Materials and methods. The methods of theoretical analysis and generalization of data from scientific and methodical literature were used. The analysis of data related to the system of sportsmen preparation, the formation of their physical, technical and tactical preparedness in taekwon-do WTF, ITF and other martial arts, which are similar in structure and content of competitive activity, was carried out. Results and discussion. Taekwan-do belongs to the group of martial arts. There are different versions of this sport. The kinds of martial arts that are not parts of the Olympic program are inferior in volume and depth of scientific research. One of these sports is taekwan-do ITF. It has been established that most of the available studies relate to the characteristics of taekwon-do in the system of martial arts, the study of the effectiveness of the use of taekwon-do tools for the development of physical qualities of various population groups, the effectiveness of transferring the physical preparedness of sportsmen to the level of their technical and tactical preparedness, the effectiveness of training process and the results of competitive activity. A large circle of shortcomings has been established for the system of sportsmen’s preparation in taekwon-do WTF (the Olympic version of the sport). At the same time, the situation is generally devastating for taekwon-do ITF. The number of scientific and methodical developments is unsatisfactory, and on some topical issues, in particular, there is no differentiation of physical preparation. The existing content of the scientific works of specialists who dealt with the issues of sportsmen’s preparation in taekwon-do WTF and other martial arts, which are similar in structure and content of competitive activity do not meet the needs of methodical support of physical preparation sportsmen in taekwon-do ITF. Conclusion. The number of scientific and methodological developments for taekwon-do ITF is minimal. Summarizing the opinions of the majority of specialists, we are inclined to the need to gradually increase the physical preparation of sportsmen along with the transition to the next stage of multi-year training. The issue of maintaining the quality of educational services is particularly acute. The main difficulties in providing high-quality educational services to students of other countries are overcoming linguistic, cultural and traditional features and the need to adapt the educational process to the specified requirements. Therefore, it becomes necessary to analyze methodical and methodological approaches used in education and to establish their effectiveness and compliance with the specified requirements. The purpose of the study was to establish the conformity of the methodology of teaching human anatomy to foreign students at the Department of Human Anatomy, Clinical Anatomy and Operative Surgery of the Dnipro State Medical University with the modern needs of the educational process. This article highlights the peculiarities of methodological approaches to teaching human anatomy to foreign students, which are used at the Department of Human Anatomy, Clinical Anatomy and Operative Surgery of the Dnipro State Medical University. Also, in order to determine the effectiveness of mastering the material from the subject, the academic performance of students of the foreign faculty for 5 years was analyzed, taking into account the indicators of absolute and qualitative success according to standard ECTS criteria, which made it possible to assess the adequacy of methodological approaches and formulate recommendations for improving the effectiveness of education. Conclusion. Methodological approaches and measures introduced at the department are adequate and sufficient to achieve a fairly stable and high level of success among foreign students. The specified methodical approaches can be used both for face-to-face and distance learning without loss of quality, which is confirmed by the absence of significant deviations of quality indicators in any direction when switching from face-to-face to distance form and vice versa. In order to achieve high results, a consistent approach to the presentation of the material, full provision of students with methodical material, and the implementation of consistent, systematic and adequate methods of monitoring the assimilation of the material is necessary, which is especially relevant among students of foreign faculties. Materials and methods. A total of 103 placentas were examined. The object of the study was placental chorionic tree at two gestational periods – 29-32 and 33-36 weeks in combination with iron deficiency anemia in gravidas. The study of the placenta at the organ level involved the determination of the basic organometric parameters, umbilical cord and free amniotic membranes, the evaluation of the attachment of the umbilical cord to the organ, the type of branching of the chorionic plate, descriptive characteristics of the maternal surface of the placenta with assessment of cotyledons. Placenta’s weight, thickness, maternal surface area and volume of each placenta were determined. The determination of gestational period is based on a combination of two principles: morphological stages of development of the chorionic tree of the placenta and clinical affiliation of the material (premature birth). The planning of the required number of observations in each study group was determined on the basis of calculations of a sufficient number for the specific statistical method used at a sensitivity level of 0.80 and a significance level of p = 0.05. Results and discussion. In both study groups with normal maturation of the chorionic tree of the placenta in combination with iron deficiency anaemia during pregnancy, the degree of maturity of the chorionic tree does not reach the level of physiological pregnancy, p<0.001. At the gestation period of 29-32 weeks, intermediate mature and terminal chorionic villi predominate histologically. At 33-36 weeks, terminal chorionic villi are significantly predominant. For both terms, fibrinoid is found in the form of a continuous or sometimes intermittent layer that covers the villus on its surface from the outside. A high percentage of trophoblastic and villous growths is characteristic, which is associated with the strengthening of the phenomena of regeneration of damaged villi. Conclusion. Iron deficiency anaemia during pregnancy affects the development of the chorionic tree of the placenta – the degree of maturity of the chorionic tree does not reach the level of physiological pregnancy; the phenomena of regeneration of damaged villi are enhanced. Regardless of the gestation period, the volume of the placenta does not reach the level of a physiological pregnancy. Materials and methods. 26 literature sources were reviewed and analyzed using the PubMed/MEDLINE database regarding diagnosis of the leukemic process in patients after COVID-19. Analytical and bibliosemantic methods were used in the research. Results and discussion. Many aspects of the COVID-19 infection, especially its complications and long-term health consequences, are still unknown. Various reactive changes in blood tests during COVID-19 have been published. Leukocytosis, leukopenia, neutrophilia, lymphocytosis and lymphocytopenia, thrombocytopenia and rarely thrombocytosis were most often detected. The detected changes were usually not observable in patients. There are reports of leukemia after a recent COVID-19. Therefore, studying the features of the clinical picture and hematopoiesis in such patients during a viral infection, as well as at the initial manifestations of leukemia, is relevant. Costa B. and co-authors report cases of the development of the leukemic process in previously healthy young patients. Patients are aged 31-35 years with normal blood tests, in whom the manifestation of leukemia appeared approximately 2-3 months after COVID-19. The course of COVID-19 was not severe in all. Mild microcytaria was detected in one case of hypochromic anemia. The development of malignant hematological diseases in these patients with an unfavorable prognosis for the course and response to treatment attracts attention. These was T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia, myelodysplastic syndrome, acute myeloid leukemia with trigeminal dysplasia in the bone marrow, suggesting previous myelodysplastic syndrome. Nekooghadam S. M. and co-authors presented a case of acute myeloid leukemia in a man after recovery from COVID-19 after 1.5 months. The course of the infection was severe. The blood test showed slight leukocytosis. Manifestations of the described cases of leukemia included clinical gastroenteropathy and anemic syndrome. Two- or three-fold severe pancytopenia and dysplasia were more common in the analysis of bone marrow hematopoiesis. Low blastemia was a feature. Some authors suggest that SARS-Cov-2 plays a role in leukogenesis. The leading role in this is attributed to the imbalance of the renin-angiotensin system caused by the virus, which triggers leukogenesis in several mechanisms. An abnormal immune response to a viral infection can trigger secondary mutational events, contributing to the clinical development of leukemia. In addition to the effect of SARS-CoV-2 on renin-angiotensin system, other mechanisms of the potential development of cancer may underlie it. In particular, COVID-19 has been associated with T-cell exhaustion and activation of oncogenic pathways, including JAK-STAT, MAPK, and NF-kB. Materials and methods. A statistical analysis of the tables of the results of the first streams of vitubers by Ring Fit Adventure for 25 vloggers with a total gameplay time of 1 hour, 12 minutes, 38 seconds was carried out. Statistics were created on the number of repetitions and holding time for 7 exercises performed by streamers during the game. The overall effectiveness of using Ring Fit Adventure for weight loss was calculated based on calories burned per hour of exercise. A comparison was made with the results of a previous study on exterior mobile exergames and the results of similar studies by other scientists. Results and discussion. The average rate of burning calories per minute of training for streamers was determined at the level of 4.5 kcal, or 269.87 kcal/h. Considering the calorie content of subcutaneous fat, which is 7,716 kcal/kg, it takes 28 hours 35 minutes and 4 seconds to lose 1 kg of weight. Given that Ring Fit Adventure exercises are the equivalent of moderate-intensity exercise, no more than 250 minutes of exercise per week is recommended, which means the possibility of losing a kilogram of subcutaneous fat in 7 weeks. Of course, at the same time, the real mass loss in the intermediate stages, due to water loss, will be higher, but we are talking about the burning of adipose tissue. At the same time, a one-hour training session provides only slightly more than half of the maximum calorie deficit recommended by the World Health Organization (500 kcal/day), and it is better to train no more than 4 times a week for 1 hour 32 minutes, so that the muscles have time to rest. A study of the effectiveness of burning calories with the use of gamecrize tools was conducted using the example of Ring Fit Adventure and the result was 269.87 kcal/h, or 4.5 kcal/h per 1 kg of body weight for an average woman according to the World Health Organization standards (65 kg). Conclusion. The average rate of energy loss from outdoor mobile games, determined by a previous study, is 5.65 kcal per 1 kg of body weight, or 367.25 kcal/day (5 km). This means that walking 5 km per day using outdoor mobile games like PokemonGo is more effective than an hour's training in Ring Fit Adventure. At the same time, repetition of training with the gamecrize ring should take into account the need for breaks, because daily training of this nature will not allow the muscles to recover. However, the positive effect on joints and ligaments, as well as the burning of calories by muscles in a passive mode, make such training a fairly effective substitute for walking in conditions of self-isolation","PeriodicalId":413454,"journal":{"name":"Ukraïnsʹkij žurnal medicini, bìologìï ta sportu","volume":"30 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125083160","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Materials and methods. 579 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus with overweight / obesity and concomitant chronic pancreatitis were included in the study. According to the analysis of the medical case histories, patients took metformin in the minimum dose that ensured the effectiveness and maximum tolerability of the drug, which was 1500-2000 mg/day. Combined therapy, which was taken by some patients, included: metformin and sulfonylurea derivatives in effective therapeutic doses. Against the background of the prescribed therapy, in the post-hospital period, rehabilitation programs were offered, which included a program of physical exercises and therapeutic massage, during 1 month. Results and discussion. It is likely that patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus, regardless of body mass index and the presence of chronic pancreatitis, received combined therapy. At the same time, the largest percentage of patients on combined therapy was recorded with type 2 diabetes mellitus and chronic pancreatitis. Both the use of metformin in the form of monotherapy and the use of combined therapy (metformin and gliclazide) in the condition of patients only with type 2 diabetes mellitus and with a comorbid type 2 diabetes mellitus with chronic pancreatitis and increased body weight / obesity do not allow reaching the target levels of glucose and HbA1c. It was established that the number of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus without comorbidity who received mono- and combined therapy in combination with a complex of rehabilitation measures reached the target HbA1c indicators. It is also worth noting the increase in the number of insufficiency with type 2 diabetes mellitus combined with overweight / obesity and chronic pancreatitis, indicating the effectiveness of the proposed rehabilitation measures. Conclusion. The additional appointment in the post-hospital period of a complex of rehabilitation program, which includes physical exercises and therapeutic massage, contributed to the achievement of the target level of HbA1c in type 2 diabetes mellitus without comorbidity in 72.73% of patients with monotherapy and in 63.41% with combined therapy and with the associated course of diabetes mellitus, overweight / obesity and pancreatitis, respectively, in 37.62% and 38.28%","PeriodicalId":413454,"journal":{"name":"Ukraïnsʹkij žurnal medicini, bìologìï ta sportu","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125242784","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
