The article is devoted to the use of word games in foreign language classes at the university. It is emphasized that language and speech games in general have great potential in teaching a foreign language, increasing the motivation to study it, contributing to a more effective assimilation of language material, activating the speech-thinking activity of students. Scientific novelty – taking into account the analysis of the existing classifications of games, the concept of “word games” is formulated. As a result, the role of word games in teaching vocabulary is substantiated and a list of the most popular of them is given. Based on the survey data of junior students, it is concluded that the use of word games will, to a certain extent, solve the existing problems in teaching vocabulary. The article highlights the issues of the formation of rural areas specialization for the purposes of strategic management. Based on the data of the statistical bodies of the Republic of Buryatia, the structure of agricultural production by branches and categories of rural producers is analyzed, the factors affecting the specialization of rural territories, the typology of territories are systematized. The authors propose an approach to the formation of specialization of rural areas, taking into account the totality of conditions and factors affecting the sustainability and direction of strategic development of rural areas, aimed at increasing the well-being of the rural population. Scientific novelty lies in the development of an approach to the formation of specialization of rural areas, which allows us to consistently take into account the whole complex of factors affecting it. The article focuses on the importance of the formation of digital competency in the framework of professional training and retraining of foreign language teachers in connection with the ongoing process of digitalization of the education system in general and language education in particular. The scientific novelty lies in the fact that the author has determined and substantiated the place of digital competency in the structure of the professional competency of a foreign language teacher, based on a systematic analysis of publications of domestic and foreign researchers in the field of professional teacher training. The scientific novelty of the study lies in the fact that in the process of studying the problem of using didactic games in teaching, the author developed his own typology of games, among which he singled out and characterized a new type of kinetic game, tasks for mixed communication (ZSO), thereby bringing gaming technologies closer to recognition. in the academic environment as an effective learning tool. Binkovskaya","doi":"10.24923/2222-243x.2022-43.25","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.24923/2222-243x.2022-43.25","url":null,"abstract":"Discussions around the entrepreneurial \"university of excellence\" that replaced the \"university of modernity\" usually touch on one essential aspect: the need to \"preserve\" in a commercial firm, such as a modern university, those \"remnants\" of liberal education that are considered socially valuable (\"public good\"), politically significant (education of a citizen), necessary in theoretical (the specific form of knowledge and the peculiarities of teaching it) and methodological (the importance of philosophy as a methodology of sciences, in addition, the only one providing integration as interdisciplinarity) attitude. The article analyzes the arguments put forward by Lyotard in favor of the statement that a modern university in a \"postmodern situation\" is no longer capable of being a \"protected place\" (Collini) for knowledge: the legitimization of knowledge now has different sources and procedures than knowledge in a classical modern university. The main methods of politicization are studied (U. Bek) knowledge and university, undertaken in order to provide humanitarian knowledge and education a place in an entrepreneurial university. In the aspect of intellectual synthesis, the objectivity of reflection as a typological-cognitive factor of meaning-forming characteristic has been proved.
