Economic security of the Russian Federation in the context of development of the world alternative energy

Abstract

The scientific article presents the results of a study of the prospects for ensuring the national economic security of the Russian Federation in the context of the formation and development of the world alternative energy. The article examines current trends in the energy resources market during the pandemic crisis; analyzes the role of Russia in the global oil and natural gas market; assesses possible risks from the further development of the global alternative energy market; considers the future role of oil and gas companies of the Russian economy in the development of alternative energy sources. The scientific novelty lies in determining the main trends in the development of global alternative energy and forming a forecast on the prospects for ensuring Russia's national economic security in this context.
