However, class X MIPA students at SMA Negeri 1 Payakumbuh still have a poor understanding of mathematical principles. The goal of this study was to ascertain and evaluate whether students in class X MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Payakumbuh who were taught using the Knisley mathematics learning model had a greater understanding of mathematical topics than students who were taught using traditional methods. A quasi-experimental research design with a non-equivalent posttest only control group design was used in this study. Based on data analysis, it was found that students in class X MIPA at SMA Negeri 1 Payakumbuh who learned using the Knisley mathematics learning model were better able to understand mathematical ideas than students who studied conventionally. This type of study is a quasi-experimental, descriptive study design by the Non-Equivalent-Only Posttest Design Group. The population is Class XI MIPA SMA Pertiwi 1 Padang and the study samples are Class XI MIPA 1 and XI MIPA 3. Research tools are quizzes and concept comprehension tests. Data on the development of this ability were described by quiz scores and test scores were analyzed using t-tests. The results of the quiz showed that applying the REACT strategy increased the development of conceptual understanding, and the results of the test analysis yielded a t-test P - value = 0.00. , H0 is rejected. This means that in the 2022/2023 XI MIPA SMA Pertiwi 1 Padang class, conceptual understanding by students learning in the flipped classroom learning model is better than by students learning in the direct learning model. One effort to overcome these problems is to use the GDL model. The purpose of this study was to analyze that the mathematical problem solving ability of students who studied with the guided discovery learning model was better than the students who studied with the guided discovery learning model, as well as to compare and explain the development of students' mathematical problems. As long as the GDL model is applied in class XI MIPA SMAN 14 Padang, these problems can be resolved. The type of research used is a quasi-experimental research with a non-equivalent posttest-only control group design. The population of class XI MIPA SMAN 14 Padang in the academic year 2022/2023. The sample was obtained using the Simple Random Sampling technique so that class XI MIPA 2 was chosen as the experimental class and XI MIPA 4 was the control class. The tools used are quizzes at each meeting to check the development of students' mathematical problem solving abilities in the lab class, and essay-style math problem solving skills to compare their mathematical problem solving abilities. Student skills in the experimental and control classes. According to data analysis from quizzes, each math problem solving index increases. The value of P = 0 was obtained based on the results of the analysis of the mathematical problem solving ability test. However, based on the data from Puspendik KEMENDIKBUD, only 36.68% of students answered the flat shape and circle area correctly, and 29.0%7 answered the question interpreting the combined area of the flat shape correctly. Learning tools take an important role in the learning process. Learning tools are one of the tools that teachers can use to help them achieve their learning goals. However, from the observation results at school, there is a discrepancy between the learning tools developed by the teacher and the learning process carried out in the classroom, and it is meaningful for the students to positively feel their concepts and knowledge. This research have purpose to advance learning device based on a scientific approach using a discovery learning model. This reserach uses the Plomp method, which consists of stages. (1) Preliminary phase which is analyze of needss, student, curriculumand concept), (2) Prototyping phase which is including design the product, self-evaluation, validation by expert, one on one evaluation, and small group Evaluation, (3) Evaluation Phase, which was performed in a large group (field test), but in this study only up to the small group evaluation phase. The result of this research was obtained from the results of interviews and surveys. The results of the analyze of the obtained data show that learning devices based on a scientific approach based on the developed discovery learning model are very effective at an average rate of 92.32% and very practical at a rate of 93.36% of students response. It also got average 86.61% for practical by teachers' responese. Interactive media help students understand the learning material and develop their critical thinking skills. This study intends to develop an interactive learning media based on constructivists that is valid and practical on flat-sided building materials in class VIII SMP / MTs. This type of research is development using the Plomp model. The plomp model is composed of Preliminary, Prototyping and Assessment Phase. In the introduction, needs analysis, student analysis, curriculum analysis, and concept analysis were carried out. The prototyping stage is in the form of designing interactive learning media. In prototype 1, self evaluation and expert review are carried out. Expert review was conducted to see the validity of the developed interactive learning media. In prototype 2, a one-to-one evaluation trial was carried out by testing interactive media with three students. The result of the research shows that constructivist based interactive media on the flat side space building material has a validity level in the very valid category. Interactive media has a practicality level in the very practical category. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the interactive media produced are valid and practical. This type of research is a quasi-experimental with the nonequivalent posttest-only control group design. The population of the study was students of class XI MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Gunung TulehT for the academic year 2022/2023 with class XI MIPA 1 as the experimental class and XI MIPA 2 as the control class. Research data were collected through quizzes and tests of students' mathematical concept understanding abilities. Quiz score data were analyzed based on the average score, as well as the percentage of students' scores per indicator. The test data were analyzed using t-test. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that in general the development of students' understanding of mathematical concepts has increased while using the TSTS model. Then, based on the results of hypothesis testing, it can be seen that the understanding of mathematical concepts of students who use the TSTS learning model is better than the understanding of mathematical concepts of students who study with conventional learning models. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of the TSTS learning model on the understanding of students' mathematical concepts.
