Then, the students need to have mathematical literacy ability because this ability is one of the national focuses in the future in assessing the quality of education in schools. But, in reality the students of class XI MIPA at SMA Negeri 3 Padang have low mathematical literacy ability. The effort that can be made to improve that ability of students are to apply Realistic Mathematics Education model. The type of the research is quasy experiment research with non-equivalent posttest only control group design. Results showed that mathematical literacy ability of students that apply Realistic Mathematics Education model is better than mathematical literacy ability of students that apply conventional learning. 摘要

数学素养能力是学生解决日常问题、发展数学能力的重要能力。其次,学生需要具备数学素养能力,因为这一能力是国家未来评估学校教育质量的重点之一。运用现实主义数学教育模式是提高学生数学能力的有效途径。研究类型为准实验研究,采用非等效后测纯对照组设计。结果表明,应用现实主义数学教育模式的学生的数学素养能力优于应用传统学习模式的学生。此外,应用现实数学教育模式的学生的数学素养能力显著提高。关键词:数学素养,现实数学教育,常规学习
