According to Taylor (2012) \"....customers are seen as the greatest asset after employees for an organozation\". The implementation of new legislation forces companies to work according to the new legislation. The aim of this research is to investigate the extent to which staff in the company understand the \"treating customers fairly legislation\", determine if the legislation will be part of the culture of the company or will it purely be seen as legislation that the company needs to adhere to and identify possible gaps in the interpretation of the outcomes-based legislation. This legislation should be an integral part of the value, culture and strategy of the company in order to truly have an impact on the customer (Feasibility, 2010:8-10). The research used the analytical descriptive methodology and used a questionnaire distributed to a sample consisting of (120) employees who are working in the Joint Service Council of Solid Waste Management in the middle and southern Areas of Gaza Strip (JSC-SWM). Using the Statistical Package for Social Studies program (SPSS), the results indicated that proper budgets, filling positions with local ordinance, pension and retirement system, fines and penalties for violating ordinance, and compensations are not used effectively in the JSC-SWM as a tool to promote the performance of the council. Using a sample of 37 finance companies listed on the main market of Bursa Malaysia from 2007 to 2011, the result indicates a significant positive moderating effect of independent directors in the relationship between director ownership and ROA but a negative relationship based on Tobin’s Q. The result means that in a company where directors have controlling shares, having independent directors on the board will enhance performance since there will be alignment of interest of board and shareholders. On the other hand, the independent directors influence firm performance negatively in firms with majority ownership by directors since the directors who are the majority shareholders will promote their interest over the interest of the shareholders. The study has provided evidence on the moderating role of independent directors in the relationship between ownership structure and firm performance. The usage of the internet as a shopping medium has raised issues about perceived risks, which has greatly influenced consumer attitudes towards shopping online. The main purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of perceived risks by consumers on willingness to buy products online, using six perceived risk parameters: time, performance, financial, psychological and social, and physical risks. Specifically, the greater the risk perceived by consumers to be associated with a product advertised online, the less the willingness to purchase it online. Comparatively, the psychological risk model performed best among the alternative specifications in terms of statistical significance of the coefficients of the indicators of perceived risk and correctness of their signs. The motivation of this study is derived from the successfull implemention of agreement on the Common Effective Preferential Tariff (CEPT) scheme for the ASEAN Free Trade Area (AFTA) that aims to reduce tariff and non tariff barrier for the trade activities among ASEAN member countries.With the reduction of tarrif, the amount of export for ASEAN4 countries has progressed further. This paper formulates a dynamic econometric model for real gross domestic product (GDP), export (X), import (M), capital (CP), labor (LL) and exchange rates (EXR) besides employing recent time-series econometric techniques known as Bound test or ARDL approach. The findings reveal that the Export-Led-Growth Hypothesis has contributed significantly to the four countries tested in the long run. Nevertheless, the evidence of the importance for capital and labor was varried for the countries tested. In every phase of life, every individual has to face stress. Employees in different organizations face stress. Especially in the banking sector, employees face great stress due to many stress antecedents like lack of support from supervisors, great pressure of work, problematic co-workers relationship and family and work life conflicts. All these stressors lead to low organizational commitment and absenteeism. The aim of this study is to check the impact of job stress on organizational commitment in the banking sector. For this purpose, 30 questionnaires were filled by the employees of 3 different banks. Results demonstrate the negative and significant relationship between job stress and organizational commitment.
