These patterns have been used to evaluate languages' expressiveness, and have defined a basic terminology that is now shared by most workflow developers. Recently, some time patterns catalogs have been proposed, but they have some limitations with respect to the spectrum that they cover and the preciseness of the descriptions. This makes language evaluation difficult, and the fact is that most workflow languages are still very limited in their capacity to describe this dimension in spite of the important role that it plays in many business processes. In this paper we tackle both these problems by proposing an extended catalog of time patterns, and proposing a formalization for said patterns based on event calculus and state charts.","PeriodicalId":409281,"journal":{"name":"2013 8th Computing Colombian Conference (8CCC)","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-10-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126552071","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Considering the software industry changes dramatically from generation to generation, and in order to achieve the most useful results for today's software industry, this research explores how potential and future software engineers now school-age children, work as a team to achieve production targets of quality software. Based on these findings a set of practices were drawn, sketched and articulated in the ChildProgramming process. The results of applying this development process show that this process increases the quality of the products and the effectiveness of the equipment. We define an image collection summary as a subset of images from the collection, which are visually and semantically representative. To build such a summary we propose MICS, a method that fuses two modalities, textual and visual, in a common latent space, and use it to find a subset of images from which the collection visual content could be reconstructed. We conducted experiments on a collection of tagged images and demonstrate the ability of our approach to build summaries with representative visual and semantic content. The initial results show that the proposed method is able to build a meaningful summary that can be integrated in an image collection exploration system.","PeriodicalId":409281,"journal":{"name":"2013 8th Computing Colombian Conference (8CCC)","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-10-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115182972","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
