It is one of the works of Imam al-Mundhiri (w 656 H) which means that it has been written around the seventh century. It is said that the book received good acceptance from the public at that time. The Moroccan Ministry of Waqf and Islamic Affairs at this time has republished the book in 1985 justifying the merit of the book. The book contains forty hadiths that have been selected by Imam al-Mundahiri from various hadith resources. The hadiths were about doing kindness dan helping others. However, the author did not mention the sources of the hadiths selected as well as any information about them. Imam Muhammad bin Ibrahim al-Sulami al-Munawi (w 803 H) then improved the book by giving information about the sources (takhrij) and brought similar hadiths to the selected hadiths to support them as well as adding some explanation to them. After him, Muhammad bin Makhluf al-Tha'alabi (w 875 H) summarized the book. However, although Imam al-Mundhiri was a scholar of the hadith as well as Imam al-Sulami and al-Tha'alabi, many statuses of the selected hadiths were found not authentic. Nevertheless, some of it was considered fabricated. Likely, Imam al-Sulami and al-Tha'alabi who were commenting on the book did not comment anything about the status. Thus, this paper tries to do takhrij to the hadiths of the book. Halal stakeholders in the country such as government agencies, consumers and industry players perform their roles well in implementing, improving, and supporting the Halal ecosystem and Halal governance towards a better position. The current shaping of Malaysian Halal governance has the nature and elements of federalism and public administration of the country. However, this paper seeks to explore the Islamic management principles and values in the Qurʾan and Hadith, which can be part and parcel in strengthening the nation’s Halal governance paradigm. In the discovery, this study conducts a qualitative method through library research of journal articles, books, and other relevant materials in gathering the systematic review of concepts and theories of Islamic management according to the Qurʾan and Hadith. On the bright side, Islamic management principles and values promote excellent strategies which suit the Halal governance sphere and environment. It has located in the brain the stations for cognition (e.g., sight and hearing) and for feelings and experience (e.g., pain, anger and face recognition). It has even sited in the brain the places involved in moral functions (e.g., judgement and lies). However, the locale of the self itself has escaped from it; so has the one assigned with ontological questions. The Quran invites its reader to seek knowledge and apply reason; however, it never introduces a term for the instrument of knowing, the brain. Instead, the intellectual roles are attributed to the heart and chest, a position that allows for a literal interpretation of these artefacts in the Book. The foundational objective of this work is to appraise this interpretation in the light of the lessons drawn from scientific studies. More than simply acknowledging the pre-knowledge of the Quran of some new scientific findings, this research seeks to re-appraise the meanings of the relevant Quranic ayahs in view of those findings. It reveals the literal significance of the terms ‘heart’ and ‘chest’ used in the Scripture but in a different context and also shows that Quranic depictions of neurobiological concepts are prescient. It finds the Quran furnishing a fuller picture of the intellect. It shows that a physical depiction of human intellect in the Quran is not only possible but indispensable. The government has worked on the translation ever since Malaya gained independence. Among the roles of TPA is to unite the Muslims in this country with one true belief. However, the Quran contains two types of meaning; the clear, direct verses as well as the ambiguous verses which are open for interpretations based on the translators’ ideologies. As such, the TPA is also subject to ideology-based interpretations of the translator. At the same time, the Muslims in Malaysia officially follow the Ahli Sunnah wal Jamaah and the Shafii School of belief. Therefore, this article reports on the findings from research carried out to examine the influence of the Ahli Sunnah wal Jamaah and Shafii School ideologies on the TPA translation of the Quran into Malay. Research data consists of ambiguous homonyms known as mushtarak. The research found that the TPA translation is in line with the belief and practice of the Malay Muslims in Malaysia who follow the Ahli Sunnah wal Jamaah and Shafii School of belief, through the selection of meanings consistent with the thought of the Shafii School, and the use of meaning interpretation approach to avoid resembling Allah with any creatures. This assertion of wasatiyyah is very significant in Malaysia which has a multi-ethnic population compared to other neighbouring countries. With the diversity of races and cultures in Malaysia, a harmonious life (al-Taʿāyush al-Silmi) needs to be manifested by displaying the wasatiyyah Approach from the Islamic worldview. Thus, this article aims to present the thoughts of an influential Malaysian leader and scholar, Tuan Guru Haji Abdul Hadi Awang in the discourse of nationhood in Malaysia. This study uses different methods including; descriptive method, content analysis method, interpretive thematic analysis method, and comparative analysis method. In order to reveal his moderate ideas from Islamic point of view, the author analyses his interpretation of the Quranic verses related to nationhood. The study significantly found that the issue of national discourse or nationhood presented by him respects the belief system, Islamic justice, and national unity and it is in line with the Quran and sunnah. The propensity to practice pristine Islam and the Sunnah in Nigeria is generally suppressed with religious extremism and fanaticism campaign and political, economic, and social influence. Another dimension to this attitude towards Islam and Sunnah is the lack of knowledge and the zeal to learn. This research seeks to examine some of the efforts that MSDB has made to propagate the Prophetic Sunnah among the Nigerian Muslims Community. This research paper adopts the use of a thematic-narrative tool to analyse the personal interview had with the director of MSDB. The study developed a questionnaire instrument to measure the understanding of basic hadith concepts of past and present students, and those who attend some of the institution’s programs. A total of 211 samples were obtained and analysed using statistical methods. The study found that MSDB has given a significant rise in the Sunnah practices in Ilorin, Nigeria. The survey reveals that those who attend their programs understand the role of Hadith in expository comments of the Quran. The study also found a significant difference between individual knowledge of hadith and how frequently they attend MSDB programs. There is also a statistical significance between knowledge of hadith and the effect of MSDB in the community. Among his famous works is the book Nasa'ih al-‘Ibad is one of the interprets or reviews from the book al-Munabbahat ‘Ala al-‘Isti’dad Li Yaum al-Ma’ad by Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani. This book became a reference in some Indonesian Boarding Schools. In addition, it is also used as a study material in certain mosques. However, in-depth study of the method of hadith interpretation in the book is rarely observed by users of the book. Therefore, it is important to explain the method of hadith interpretation found in this book so that its status can be known as well as to measure the extent of its knowledge in the hadith. This study aims to explore the method of hadith interpretation conducted by Shaykh Nawawi al-Bantani in the book Nasa'ih al-‘Ibad. The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the method of hadith interpretation used by Shaykh Nawawi al-Banteni and reveal the extent of his knowledge and status as a scholar of hadis through the book Nasa’ih al-‘Ibad. The methodology of this study is qualitative through library methods and content analysis design of Nasa’ih al-‘Ibad book. This study found that in general the method used by Shaykh Nawawi al-Banteni in interpreting hadith is by using the method of Ijmali. In its application, he uses textual interpretation techniques through the method of interpreting hadith according to the original material or text of hadith, and intertextual through the method of explaining the differences of material in hadith interprete, reciting hadith with hadith, reciting hadith with the words of scholars, reciting hadith with Arabic poetry. This study found that Shaykh Nawawi al-Banteni had good ability and knowledge in hadith.
