In this paper we present a faceted ontology which addresses the content, context, community, domain and business issues of knowledge management. Organizations can be viewed as systems whose components (people, team, groups, organizations) are joined by formal and informal relationships, and any process of internal change requires complex negotiations based on them. It is therefore of paramount importance to perceive accurately the network of informal relationships and to actively manage them. On the basis of the concept of distance between individuals and making use of the social network analysis we provide a methodology for determining both the actual network of relationships that links all actors in the organization and an index (IDO, Informality Degree of Organizations) able to measure the level of informality prevailing within an organization. Employing the concept of the reverse salient - a component which trails in technological performance and thus hinders potential system-wide development - the paper develops time-gap and performance-gap measures of reverse salience and applies them in an empirical study. Additionally, the paper evaluates technological pressure, which is equivalent to the amount of technological performance delivered in a given period of time. The results firstly identify the PC game sub-system as the reverse salient, trailing at a steady time-gap and with increasing performance-gap. Such innovations will speed up the process of extending the power supplying benefits to all inhabitants of the Bahia State, in Brazil, through a program called universalization. The paper shows the R&D projects rules established by the Brazilian regulatory agency and the scenery in which this project was conceived. It describes the project management approach used to cope with the challenges ahead of us, the project planning, organization and execution details of the entire process. The ANSEA incorporates the phase of Multi-Criteria Analysis (MCA) into the assessment scheme in order to perform more sensitive approach to the real decision-making context in environmental planning & management. This paper proposes an approach based on Fuzzy Axiomatic Design (FAD) to assign suitable MCA technique during execution process of ANSEA. (2008) have shown that any non-dictatorial fuzzy social choice function is vulnerable to strategic manipulation, when individuals express their preferences trough fuzzy weak relations on the set of alternatives. This paper proposes a new definition of fuzzy manipulability and dictatorship of fuzzy social choice functions. For this purpose, the decomposition of fuzzy weak relations in terms of symmetric and regular components is considered and a parallel result is provided. CHI capabilities play crucial roles in interfacing information technology (IT) deployment with organisational goals. It is said that success of IT deployment is dependent on a successful process, usability, usefulness of IS products and services which are CHI centric. End-users in the organisation contribute the most towards CHI issues and their capabilities influence success of IT deployment projects. However, modern SDLC models are based more on organizational needs than understanding CHI capability needs. This incapability shows up in the form of poor reflection of user-intentions to use the services in post implementation stages. Insensitivities of IT acquirers towards end-users contribute to the gap between satisfying organizational needs, end-user deliveries and supporting organisational goals in the process. This problem can be addressed by carefully integrating end-user capabilities issues in the SDLC process to achieve a truly human-centered IS development. In this paper a framework is suggested to capture CHI capabilities in an acquiring organisation. The framework is tested for its fitness through structural equation modeling (SEM) with active participation from thirteen organizations. We also apply an extension model to the Technology Acceptance Model - the COMPASS Acceptance Model which is very suitable for testing mobile services adoption, and may be used to define the weighing factors of mobile servicespsila life cycles in different culture contexts. Data collected from France (Paris) and China (Beijing) was tested against the research model; the results strongly support the proposed model in predicting consumer behaviours when using 3G mobile services.
