Water transport ensures the supply of raw materials and the distribution of finished products in international trade. The main task for water transport is to ensure the reliability of supplies, at prices that are on the one hand profitable for carriers, and on the other hand, stimulate international trade. In this regard, carriers are taking various measures to improve supply. One of the measures that are in constant development is the organization of shipping. It is known that with good organization and cooperation in shipping, better results are achieved, which benefit everyone – carriers and consignors. Shipowners are in a constant process of renewing their fleet and organizing fleet management. The organizational forms are different, but some of them affect the application of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union. This publication examines checks in tramp shipping and their compliance given the Art. 101 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union. The topic is under-researched and is of theoretical and practical interest.","PeriodicalId":40820,"journal":{"name":"Strategies for Policy in Science and Education-Strategii na Obrazovatelnata i Nauchnata Politika","volume":"25 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.2,"publicationDate":"2023-06-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"81460705","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

They are highly vulnerable to economic shocks and uncertainties, and since the beginning of 2020 they have faced major challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the consequences of the war in Ukraine. In these conditions, the role of innovation as the main tool for survival and getting out of the difficult situation is growing. The purpose of this article is to briefly present the results of an empirical study of the role of innovation in SMEs to recover from the COVID-19 crisis and to improve their economic performance. These results are indicative of the impact of innovation on economic success during times of crisis. They can be discussed, but they can also be the basis for the correct direction of the efforts of enterprises to improve their competitiveness.","PeriodicalId":40820,"journal":{"name":"Strategies for Policy in Science and Education-Strategii na Obrazovatelnata i Nauchnata Politika","volume":"34 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.2,"publicationDate":"2023-06-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"83548584","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This will ensure a better quality of animal products (both dairy and meat), increase the health status of the animals, reduce their stress levels, optimize the costs of the farmers and a number of other benefits. The purpose of this article is to show the possibilities of intelligent technologies in modern sheep farming. In it, one hundred different farms in southern Greece were studied and the attitudes of their owners towards the implementation of intelligent monitoring of sheep flocks were established. Analyzes of farmers’ propensity to adopt AI technologies are performed. On this basis, a road map has been proposed, facilitating the process of introducing intelligent sheep farming. It is applicable both to the study area and to other geographical areas with sheep farming traditions.","PeriodicalId":40820,"journal":{"name":"Strategies for Policy in Science and Education-Strategii na Obrazovatelnata i Nauchnata Politika","volume":"12 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.2,"publicationDate":"2023-06-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"75229543","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
