It is characterized by dynamic movements that require strength, speed, endurance, balance, and coordination. Safety is essential for practitioners of taekwondo. It includes injury prevention, adequate crisis response, and prevention of violence, harassment, and aggressive behavior. Coaches play an important role in providing a safe and healthy environment for taekwondo practice. They must have the necessary competencies and implement appropriate prevention measures. This article proposes a model for healthy and safe sports pedagogical practice for taekwondo training. The model includes three main aspects: Prevention of sports injuries: it consists of several measures such as: appropriate equipment, proper warm-up and stretching, gradual increase in workload, individualized approach to athletes, training of coaches for injury prevention; Adequate response to crises: includes an action plan for natural disasters, acts of terrorism and other emergencies; Prevention and adequate intervention of violence, bullying, and aggressive behavior: includes training coaches to recognize and deal with violence, bullying, and aggressive behavior, creating a safe and positive environment for athletes. The model is helpful for taekwondo coaches as it provides practical guidelines to ensure a safe and healthy environment for sports practitioners.","PeriodicalId":40820,"journal":{"name":"Strategies for Policy in Science and Education-Strategii na Obrazovatelnata i Nauchnata Politika","volume":"71 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135923994","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Cryptocurrency is a digital or virtual currency that uses cryptography for security, while sports and fan tokens are digital assets that provide fans with unique experiences and ownership rights. These tokens could potentially revolutionize the way we interact with sports, entertainment, and the global economy. This report examines the benefits, challenges, use cases, and future implications of the intersection of crypto, sports, security, and fan tokens. The paper defines terms, examines the movement of individual fan tokens, and conducts a SWOT analysis of fan tokens that highlights cryptocurrencies' key security and feasibility components. Fan tokens are most popular in Europe, where 65% of fan token holders are located, with the most popular being associated with football teams of the likes of Barcelona, Manchester City, Lazio, and others. Fan tokens are still in their early stages of development but have the potential to change the way fans connect with their favorite teams and brands.","PeriodicalId":40820,"journal":{"name":"Strategies for Policy in Science and Education-Strategii na Obrazovatelnata i Nauchnata Politika","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135924004","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

With this comes the doubt about his safety, due to frequent injuries, including deaths. At the beginning of the basis of scientific research, a brief history of parachuting on a global scale and in Bulgaria is considered. The Discussion section presents the types of injuries that occur during parachute jumps, their characteristics and prevention. The research methodology includes the search for statistical data from official sources (parachute federations and associations), their compilation and analysis. The study looked at data to determine annual skydiving performance periods in France, Sweden, the United States, Great Britain and Germany. In Bulgaria, there are no detailed statistics of injuries during parachute jumps, but only of fatal cases, which for the period from 1963 to 2003 were 20, including the performance of official duties by military personnel, which is why the Bulgarian data are not included in the Results section. The results and discussion reveal the essence of skydiving as a sport, qualifying it as a highly attractive and relatively safe sport nowadays.","PeriodicalId":40820,"journal":{"name":"Strategies for Policy in Science and Education-Strategii na Obrazovatelnata i Nauchnata Politika","volume":"2014 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135923997","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Building a new motor habit carries the main characteristics of a pedagogical process with in-depth knowledge of the basic principles and methods of training, knowledge and practical skills for performing a given motor act, but it also has its own specifics of motor training. The new motor habit for walking with aids must guarantee the safety of the patient, consistent with his individual functional capabilities for its formation. The purpose of this article is to formulate methodological guidelines for overcoming the risk factors in learning to walk with aids, guaranteeing the safety of the patient with impaired locomotion. Material and methods. Patients who have impaired or difficult locomotion, which can be a result of hip or knee arthroplasty; post-fracture conditions; soft tissue damage; central or peripheral motor neuron damage; femoral or lower leg amputation. Results and discussion. The emphasis in the development of a methodology for training patients in walking with aids is the formulation of methodological guidelines from the point of view of the safety for the patient and the reduction of the risk of trauma during training (fall), considering the peculiarities of the characteristic of the main phases for building a new motor habit (generalization, concentration, automation). Conclusion. Compliance with the methodical instructions in training in walking with aids ensures the cyclical construction of a new motor habit and minimizes the influence of risk factors.","PeriodicalId":40820,"journal":{"name":"Strategies for Policy in Science and Education-Strategii na Obrazovatelnata i Nauchnata Politika","volume":"15 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135923995","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study aims to investigate to what extent future sports pedagogues – and sports coaches – are prepared to recognize and respond to bullying among children aged 7 – 10. One hundred eighty full-time undergraduate university students voluntarily participated in the empirical study. The students were in their second year of undergraduate programs, preparing future coaches with different sports profiles. A questionnaire with study cases was developed and distributed for the students to complete. The questions were designed to explore students’ knowledge regarding the application of punishment in education and the skills formed to prevent and intervene in bullying among sporting children. The surveyed students were “more sparing” regarding the possible use of harsher punishments, such as removal from play/practice, and the widespread use (in sports contexts) of punishment through individual and additional exercise. The surveyed students demonstrated good knowledge and competence in applying punishment as an educational method in cases of bullying and aggression among children and preferred intervention measures to be more positive. It can be summarized that second-year students have the attitude to carry out educational influences on sporting children and do not entirely rely on parents’ assistance and support in education.","PeriodicalId":40820,"journal":{"name":"Strategies for Policy in Science and Education-Strategii na Obrazovatelnata i Nauchnata Politika","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135924001","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study aims to explore the extent of the contribution of safety and security of Special Olympics World sports events in promoting a culture of trust, responsibility, and collective well-being relating to social capital. Through active collaboration with local communities, law enforcement agencies, emergency services, and volunteer networks, the sport event organizers can effectively leverage local resources, specialized knowledge, and community support to enhance the overall quality and safety of the event. These collaborations enhance the effectiveness of safety and security measures, facilitate seamless emergency response, and foster a sense of shared responsibility among all stakeholders to ensure the well-being of participants, spectators, and the host community. By nurturing social capital, the events can enhance safety measures, encourage active participation, and build resilience within the community, ultimately creating a secure environment for athletes, spectators, and all involved. In conclusion, we could consider the safety and security of Special Olympics World sports events to play a crucial role in building social capital.","PeriodicalId":40820,"journal":{"name":"Strategies for Policy in Science and Education-Strategii na Obrazovatelnata i Nauchnata Politika","volume":"27 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135924002","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The need for security as the primary motivation of the individual is one of the personality parameters that significantly influence behavior strategies and the adaptation process, especially in situations of potential threat, tension, and risk. The present study aims to investigate the need for security as a basic motivation of the personality, the primary stress factors, and the preferred coping strategies of the participants in the XXXI Bulgarian Antarctic Expedition on Livingstone Island. The study involved 28 participants from the XXXI Bulgarian Antarctic Expedition aged 33 to 71. 1) Methodology for the study of the need for security in the behavior of the individual – Bulgarian validation of the test by A. Velichkov et al. 1998; 2) Coping Orientations to Problems Experienced scale (COPE – 1, Carver et al. 1989), adapted for Bulgarian conditions (Georgiev et al. 2003); 3) Methodology for investigating the sources of stress in participants in Antarctic expeditions. The majority of participants had a low level of need for security. Significant differences were found according to the level of need for security regarding the Climatic conditions and work mode stress factor. Prior experience significantly influenced preferred coping strategies, Climatic conditions, and work mode stress factors. The results can support adaptation and adequate preventive actions to reduce psychological distress in participants.","PeriodicalId":40820,"journal":{"name":"Strategies for Policy in Science and Education-Strategii na Obrazovatelnata i Nauchnata Politika","volume":"15 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135924005","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
