First, shaft torque is estimated through a specified model. The last estimation torque is used to detect gearbox efficiency drop through a proportional action loop. The approach was implemented on FAST coded simulator, designed by the US National Renewable Energy Laboratory's National Wind Turbine Center. The obtained results provide a good fault detection and estimation.","PeriodicalId":405923,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Electrical and Information Technologies (ICEIT)","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-03-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133218727","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For this purpose, one year of meteorological data with one minute step has been collected via a high precision meteorological station installed at the University of Oujda. Afterward, a meteo-file of one hour step has been created and injected to Greenius simulation software, in order to calculate the annual yield electricity production of a 50 MWe solar tower with an open air volumetric receiver and one tank storage system. For an annual direct normal irradiation (DNI) of 1989.9 kWh/m2, the tower produces a thermal energy of 387 768 MWhth and an annual electricity of 144 909 MWhel. The mean efficiency of the tower system under the climate of Oujda is of 13.6%, which can be considered as high and cost effective.","PeriodicalId":405923,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Electrical and Information Technologies (ICEIT)","volume":"207 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-03-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123024170","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It was thanks to the mechanism store and forward and node mobility that the nodes can store messages received and wait for an opportunity to transmit them. As traditional routings which are based on the principle of end-to-end are no longer adapted with this type of environment, different routings have been proposed for DTN environment, in order to increase delivery rate of messages with minimal overhead as the Epidemic routing, Spray and Wait and PRoPHET, etc. In this paper, we propose a new routing protocol named ACDTN, inspired from the collective behavior in ants colonies, to find the hops that are more likely to approach the message to it final destination, by combining the information on the time and the geographical coordinates of appointment places (visibility) and the encounters frequency between nodes (pheromone) to compute the transition probability.The new proposed approach has proven through several simulations: an energy efficient and an improvement in the lifetime of nodes compared to the routing protocols, Epidemic, Spary and Wait and PRoPHET, Making it a good candidate for DTN network.","PeriodicalId":405923,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Electrical and Information Technologies (ICEIT)","volume":"582 ","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-03-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"120884356","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Due to the growing number of vehicles, handling this issue is a necessity. Recently, detecting traffic congestions has been noticeably studied considering different radar technologies. However, up to now none of the previous studies dealt with solving traffic jam issues using a smartphone application for notifications. Researches that have been conducted in this field used only passive tags that are highly resource-constrained. Furthermore, they do not comply with the latest technologies of smartphones. These technologies represent an easy way to make the user aware about a traffic jam in a specific road. The purpose of this paper is to fill-up this gap and contribute to reducing traffic congestion in big cities by proposing a sequential approach intended to identify, control, and manage traffic congestion. The suggested system considers active Radio Frequency Identification (RFID), and smartphone application technologies. The RFID tag is installed on both vehicles and concerned roads to record the necessary data and provide the user of the application with the detailed analyses of congestion patterns and traffic mobility.","PeriodicalId":405923,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Electrical and Information Technologies (ICEIT)","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-03-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127219676","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Unfortunately, engineers and project managers rarely accord sufficient attention and importance to this approach, and adopt a traceability implementation strategy. This is due to its complexity and to the difficulties faced when implementing trace links especially costs that tracing can generates in short term. As we strongly believe that a quantitative estimation of the impact of traceability on Software Product Line's cost can help better understanding its usefulness, we present in this paper an analysis of this issue based on COPLIMO cost estimation model. The analysis shows that implementing trace links while developing the Software Product Line generates additional costs, but helps reducing them as the Product Line is used.","PeriodicalId":405923,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Electrical and Information Technologies (ICEIT)","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-03-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125730653","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Autonomous and flexible agents and Multi-agent systems (MASs) are suitable tools for self-detection of failures and self-monitoring of cloud operations and services, QoS negotiation and SLA management. They're designed to operate in a dynamically changing environment. MASs offer new features such as autonomy, pro-activity, communication, cooperation, and negotiation, which can help cloud computing platforms to offer solutions that aren't available in current cloud infrastructures. Our main motivation to integrating MASs is their ability to make clouds smarter in their interactions. This paper introduces a Trusted third party (TTP) based on Multi-agent systems in order to control the quality of service contract and guarantee transparency and symmetry with respect to the SLA contract between prospective signatories. This TTP will use MASs to apply an advanced penalty model that guarantees the performance and the reliability of the Cloud.","PeriodicalId":405923,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Electrical and Information Technologies (ICEIT)","volume":"62 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-03-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131901640","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
