Access to adequate health care on an affordable and fair basis in many sections of the country remains an unfulfilled desire. Health care disparity is seen as a compromise. \"Right to Life\" To promote inclusion in health care, it is vital to define \"essential health care,\" which should be made available to all residents. The best use of public resources and more public investment on healthcare are recommended solutions. It is suggested that strengthening capacity through training, particularly training paramedical staff, is a crucial component of cost reduction, particularly in tertiary care. Another component which is deemed highly significant is improvement in delivery system of health care. The improvement of preventive care and decrease in tertiary care costs will result from expanding the role of \"family physicians\" in the health care delivery system. These findings support the importance of primary healthcare and its function in providing inclusive healthcare. More access to necessary treatments, higher care quality, an emphasis on prevention, early management of health issues, and overall health gains and decreased morbidity as a consequence of primary health care delivery are all benefits of the primary health care paradigm for the delivery of health services.","PeriodicalId":404560,"journal":{"name":"Southeast Asian Journal of Health Professional","volume":"40 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116062884","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Managing such tumours necessitates not only astute clinical judgement but also precise imaging and a full understanding of the biology of tumour dissemination paths. Despite the fact that radical excision with adjuvant radiotherapy is the conventional treatment, advanced gingivobuccal tumours have extremely high locoregional failure rates. The current case report describes the presentation and management of OSCC of the lower gingivobuccal complex. It would serve to guide clinicians in the decision-making aspect during the management of extensive gingivobuccal OSCC.","PeriodicalId":404560,"journal":{"name":"Southeast Asian Journal of Health Professional","volume":"55 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130404709","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This audit was undertaken by collection of information through a proforma (Appendix 2) and referral information was taken from across the North East England region via a referral phone. Results shows that less than 50% of referrals included any form of visual acuity assessment, primarily due to lack of access to Snellen charts.","PeriodicalId":404560,"journal":{"name":"Southeast Asian Journal of Health Professional","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114462273","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We compared in-house created CT based scoring system based on ground glass opacities (G-Score), consolidation (C- Score), and atelectasis A-score (i.e. GCA score) with contemporary CT severity scores & validated it against world health organization (WHO) COVID-19 disease severity scale. Patients confirmed with real time polymerase chain reaction confirmed COVID-19 infections that underwent CT chest investigations as a part of standard of care were recruited. A compound GCA score based on the lung involvement was developed and validated. Five-hundred patients of which 249 had mild, 220 with moderate, and 31 with severe COVID-19 disease were recruited.Most involved segments were superior (65%), lateral basal (56%) and posterior basal segments (64%) of right lower lobe and anteromedial (62%) and posterior basal segments (57%) of left lower lobe.Patchy non-confluent peripheral ground-glass opacities with apicobasal gradient is the most common finding (47%) in mild cases. Bilateral lower lobes were most commonly involved (72%).In moderate cases ground-glass opacities with consolidation is the predominant finding (82%).In severe cases ground-glass opacity, consolidation as well as linear platelike atelectasis and reticular opacities may represent with apicobasal gradient (80%).HRCT Chest has certainly come up as a versatile aid for our war against COVID -19. Firstly it helps to diagnose the pulmonary involvement of the disease and when complimented with a good scoring system furthermore it stratifies the disease burden.","PeriodicalId":404560,"journal":{"name":"Southeast Asian Journal of Health Professional","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125340399","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The main difference in penetrating trauma is opening the thoracic cavity, created either by stabbing or gunshot wounds, which is absent in blunt chest trauma. Following head and extremities injuries, Blunt thoracic injuries are the third most common injury in polytrauma patients. Assessment of blunt chest trauma patients with clinical and radiographic finding suggestive of pneumothorax, rib fractures, effusion and suspected lung injuries. A cases of 100 patients were included in the study with the age group between 18-49 years. Patients referred from the trauma centre with blunt chest trauma due to road traffic accidents and high velocity trauma. The hospital staff collects data of all trauma patients who were transferred-into the trauma centre with blunt chest trauma. Pneumothorax was detected in 28 patients, 19 patients had associated rib fracture and 11 patients had associated pleural effusion. 11 patients were associated with subcutaneous emphysema .In 19 patients, underlying lung parenchymal injury was present. Hemothorax was detected in 15 patients on CT scan. Pneumomediastinum was detected in 3 patients, while pneumopericardium was not seen in any case. Pulmonary contusion was detected in 15 patients. Computed Tomography (CT) Scan is the modality of choice for rapid assessment of emergency chest trauma patients where associated abdominal injuries can be scanned in one sitting with high sensitivity and specificity.","PeriodicalId":404560,"journal":{"name":"Southeast Asian Journal of Health Professional","volume":"62 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125400963","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is a localised reactive proliferation of fibrous connective tissue. Surprisingly, this fibroma has no specific association with chronic irritation. It occurs most commonly in the first three decades of life and according to Houston it has a female predilection. It clinically presents as an asymptomatic pedunculate or sessile lump and this diverse unique lesion is confirmed on histopathological examination as clinical examination alone is not sufficient to confirm this fibroma.
