This study was conducted to determine the effect of laser acupuncture with Mitchell's simple physiological relaxation technique in alleviating premenstrual tension syndrome (PMS), thirty volunteer females suffering from PMS were selected from Faculty of Physical Therapy, Kaferelsheik University. Their ages ranged from 17 to 22 years and their body mass index was < 30 Kg/m2. Volunteers were randomly assigned into two groups: a control group received vitamin B6 and Ca supplements once daily and a study group received the same medical treatment and participated in treadmill training three times per week for 3 months they were treated by laser acupuncture and Mitchell's simple physiological relaxation technique for 30 minute/session, 3times/week during 2 weeks before menstruation for 2 menses. Assessments: Pulse rate, respiratory rate and EMG activity of Rt and Lt trapezius ms were recorded before and after intervention. Results: repeated measure manova revealed that there was significant reduction in EMG activity of (Rt and lt trapezius ms), pulse rate and respiratory rate (p<0.05). Conclusion: There is positive biological evidence to support the empirical evidence for laser acupuncture and Mitchell's simple physiological relaxation technique in the treatment of premenstrual tension (PMT). They showed highly significant reductions in pulse rate, respiratory rate and EMG muscle activity with its minimal adverse effect profile and ease of application, laser acupuncture should be included in reducing symptom of premenstrual syndrome management strategies.","PeriodicalId":403624,"journal":{"name":"The Advanced Science Journal","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-04-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130885305","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Thus, it is important to study correlation between share market and economy. The paper analyzed the interaction between the parameters of Ukrainian share market (the volume of registered share issues, the volume of trading shares on the stock market, the volume of trading shares on a formal stock market and the number of issued shares in Ukraine) and economic development (GDP). The results of evaluation models suggest that the volume of registered share issues and the volume of trading shares on the stock market have no impact on Ukrainian GDP. But the variation in GDP determined by the variation of share trading volume on the formal share market and the number of issued shares in Ukraine.","PeriodicalId":403624,"journal":{"name":"The Advanced Science Journal","volume":"71 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-02-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132088968","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Forty fiv e female patients diagnosed as mild to moderate CTS were included in the study. Their ages were 35:55 years with mean age 41 ± 2.5 years. Patients were divided randomly into three equal groups, placebo group received sham exposure, and group II received PEMT at frequency of 50 Hz, and the III group received surgical interference. The outcome measurements were median nerve sensory distal latency (SDL), motor distal latency (MDL) and Boston carpal tunnel questionnaire (BCTQ). Measurements were carried out at baseline and three months later. Paired analysis for comparison between pre and post treatment measurements in each group showed significant decrease of SDL, MDL and BCTQ scores of both magnetic and surgery groups. In other hand there were non significant increases of any variable in the placebo group. Despite the equal baseline of all groups before treatment, there were significant decrease of all measurements of both magnetic and surgical groups than placebo group and significant decrease of all measurements of magnetic group than surgical group. The results suggested that PEMT might be beneficial in improving median nerve electrophysiological function and improving hand functional abilities.","PeriodicalId":403624,"journal":{"name":"The Advanced Science Journal","volume":"300 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-02-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128679662","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is established that economic risks can be reduced by replanning in realtime. Methodological approaches to determining the economic effect of automated information systems (AIS) from replanning of procurement taking into aprobability of nondelivery are proposed. Se t losses from risks of accidents and unplanned outages of machinery and equipment, risks of not identifying the performance of machines and equipment, risks of not identifying quality raw material, risks of fluctuations in the volume of production at previous stages, risks of unplanned urgent orders, etc. Management solutions to reduce these risks are developed.
