Various fault diagnosis approach were observed for the detection of faults in FPGA, through the conventional ATE. These devices are designed for the detection of logical faults occurring in the operation of the FPGA. The ATE devices are currently designed to diagnosis the FPGA operation for faults and intern the fault detection is rectified by reprogramming the device. The localization of such faults will result in faster fault diagnosis. In this paper an approach for faults in FPGA interconnects is developed called forward tree coding. The approach is developed to isolate the fault region in a defined FPGA to reduce the time to market of digital devices. Developing and deploying large-scale ontology solutions typically involves several separate tasks and requires applying multiple tools. Different tools from different sources need to inter operate and are integrated into frameworks. These frameworks must be open to other commercial environments and provide connectors and interfaces to industrial standards. Transmitting at high power not only reduces the lifetime of the nodes and that of the network, but it also introduces excessive interference. Hence it is essential for each node to transmit at minimal transmit power, thereby reducing interference and maintaining network connectivity. This paper analyses a game theoretic model taking into consideration the residual energy of the nodes in a homogenous wireless sensor network considering random and square topology. The utility function of nodes that minimizes power consumption is analysed and the existence of Nash Equilibrium is studied. Most of the segmentation methods are parametric and the results of segmentation depend on the correctness of the estimated parameters. In case of supervised segmentation, a priori knowledge is needed for successful segmentation. So, nonparametric and unsupervised segmentation method is used when a priori information is not available. Kohonen's Self Organizing Maps (SOM), an unsupervised and nonparametric artificial neural network method is used to identify the main features present in the image. Genetic Algorithm (GA) can be applied to the results of SOM for optimal segmentation results. In this paper, the basic SOM, SOM combined with GA and some of the variants of SOM like the Variable Structure SOM (VSSOM), Parameterless SOM (PLSOM) are compared and their performance is evaluated. A new unsupervised, nonparametric method is developed by combining the advantages of VSSOM and PLSOM. In FRIENDS, new facilities called Quality Control Centers (QCCs), which consists of Voltage Control type Inverters, Distributed Generators (DGs), Energy Storage Systems (ESSs), etc., are installed between distribution substation and customers. By controlling and operating those inverters and DGs in QCCs adequately, balancing the supply and demand can be realized. Particularly, when the power supply from the transmission network is interrupted, isolated local network which consists of some QCCs are composed in order to realize uninterruptible power supply. In the isolated network, the DGs and ESSs in QCCs are employed as backup generators. This paper proposes a distributed and autonomous method for balancing the power system supply and demand during interruption period. This paper also investigates the effectiveness of the proposed method through computational simulations using MATLAB and LabVIEW. Many media access protocols (MAC) have been suggested in literature for OBS based ring networks. This paper proposes a new MAC protocol for wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) based OBS metro ring network. The performance is analyzed through simulations and compared with the similar protocol reported in literature. A broken rotor bar essentially leads to an increase in rotor resistance of the induction motor. The methodology used is basically model based fault detection in which the problem is treated as one of detection and estimation of parameter variation. An extensive monte carlo simulation study has been carried out to assess the relative performance of the two filters under various operating conditions. The results of the simulation studies show that DUKF is more sensitive to rotor resistance variation over wide range of tuning parameters and gives better performance than JUKF in detecting and estimating the rotor resistance .
