The paper estimate wind turbines capacity that can be integrated in actual electrical system of Moldova without its reconfiguration. The study is based on analysis of power transformer stations operating on 110kV, 35kV, 10kV and 6kV. Over 350 consumption nodes through all country territory were analyzed per total. The potential of wind turbines was estimated for two heights − 50m and 100m. The simultaneous estimation of the speed, rotor flux and of rotor resistance is done by using an adaptive estimator, called the COS observer. To ensure the persistent excitation condition, in the vector control system, over the rotor flux reference, we overlay a sine wave signal of low frequency and amplitude. The new method of simultaneous estimation of the speed, rotor flux and of the rotor resistance, is validated through simulation.","PeriodicalId":403279,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Electromechanical and Power Systems (SIELMEN)","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122065979","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Until this day, a number of large national enterprises do not show an interest in supporting the higher technical education, also including the lack of internship offers. On the other hand, small and medium entrepreneurial sector show a great sign of interest in offering internships to students, to an extent as offering some students part-time jobs during their education. The new opportunities for organizing internships are about opening borders, developing partnerships between universities, academic mobility, and internship scholarships offered by multinational companies.","PeriodicalId":403279,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Electromechanical and Power Systems (SIELMEN)","volume":"47 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129812812","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The device is based on hexagonal scheme, and due to new proposal, provides symmetrical 18-phase output system of voltages, wherein the various phases of it are connected to different phases of three-phase receiving system by means of semiconductor switching elements, composed in two groups to reduce a quantity of switching keys. For reducing oscillations of transmitted active power, caused by 20° step switching of the phase angle between the voltages of the connected systems PWM modulation method is used, thus providing a smoother angle switching. It was shown, that increasing the number of phases sufficiently reduces the level of harmonic distortion of currents and voltages on the buses of receiving power system, so at some conditions the requirements, imposed on higher harmonics content in high voltage electrical networks could be met without the use of additional filters.","PeriodicalId":403279,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Electromechanical and Power Systems (SIELMEN)","volume":"45 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128327625","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper presents a camera calibration technique for target tracking by designing a feedback control system for a camera mounted servo based gimballed eye structure which in turn signals the tracking station to position and lock the laser pointer to the target. The tracking of the target is based on pose recovery and face detection using Voila Jones algorithm for computer based robot vision whereas the feedback controller is based on PID technique. A mathematical description of the tracking system based on the transformation from the world coordinates to the camera coordinates along with the camera calibration is also presented.","PeriodicalId":403279,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Electromechanical and Power Systems (SIELMEN)","volume":"44 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128351738","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The important geographical location of the Kingdom helps for the development of the use of the solar energy. To reduce the import of primary energy, and to make face to the high demand of electricity and water in remote zone, the government has made several projects to encourage the use of a local industry in the renewable energy sector which promotes also to minimize carbon emissions. However, given to the importance of the solar irradiation intensity received and his duration, the country has the possibility to cover some of its solar energy needs. The empoyement of solar energy to pump water is one of the most used applications; this technique presents a good solution wherever the grid does not exist. In this document, we will show a presentation of photovoltaic water pumping system components, and the most important solar pumping projects installed in Morocco to supply water in remote areas.","PeriodicalId":403279,"journal":{"name":"2017 International Conference on Electromechanical and Power Systems (SIELMEN)","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125638392","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
