According to linear algebra perspective, the number of measurements made or the number of samples taken for reconstruction must be greater than or equal to the dimension of signal or image. Also reconstruction follows the Shanon's sampling theorem which is based on the Nyquist sampling rate. The reconstruction of a signal or image using the principle of compressed sensing is an exception which makes use of only few number of samples which is below the sampling limit. Compressive sensing also known as sparse recovery aims to provide a better data acquisition and reduces computational complexities that occur while solving problems. The main goal of this paper is to provide clear and easy way to understand one of the compressed sensing greedy algorithm called Orthogonal Matching Pursuit (OMP). The OMP algorithm involves the concept of overcomplete dictionary that is formulated based on different thresholding methods. The proposed method gives the simplified approach for image denoising by using OMP only. The experiment is performed on few standard image data set simulated with different types of noises such as Gaussian noise, salt and pepper noise, exponential noise and Poisson noise. The kinematic and dynamic motion of an AUV is described using six degree of freedom differential equations of motion using bodyand earth-fixed frame of references. Due to hydrodynamic forces, these equations are complex, non-linear and highly coupled therefore are impractical for use in controller design. In practice, system is commonly decomposed into three non-interactive systems such as diving subsystem, steering subsystem and speed subsystem. In this study a reduced order model was derived for diving system using depth plane dynamics and a suitable dual loop control strategy is formulated by synthesizing fuzzy logic based control in series with a phase lead dynamic compensator to achieve the desired set point tracking and reasonably good performance objectives under variety of disturbances encountered in oceanic environments. The obvious benefits of this type of approach lies in the simplicity of the scheme compared to the conventional deterministic systems and easy implementation for real time control of the Autonomous Underwater Vehicles. The proposed fuzzy logic based controller accepts deterministic information, the depth of the vehicle as input and achieves imprecise reasoning and de-fuzzification to generate a deterministic control output which manipulates the pitch angle and hence the depth of the vehicle. The power consumption of the proposed multiplier is significantly low because the energy transferred to the load capacitance is mostly recovered. The proposed 8×8 CMOS and adiabatic multiplier structure have been designed in a TSMC 0.18 μm CMOS process technology and verified by Cadence Design Suite. Due to limited battery power, sensors are suspected to failure which causes the loss of sensors and results the unsatisfactory connectivity. In hostile environment, Sensors are randomly and recklessly heaved over area of interest which causes accumulation of sensors in one area and absence in other. In such situations, the multihop transmission is not appropriate for providing the network connectivity. In this paper, an approach for improving the connectivity with limited number of sensors using cooperative cluster transmission is presented. A light weight clustering algorithm to support the cooperative transmission for a sparsely deployed sensor network is presented. The simulation results show that the higher connectivity is achieved with limited number of sensors employing the cooperative cluster transmission algorithm. Here the input to fusion involves set of images taken from different modalities of the same scene. Output is a better quality image; which depends on a particular application. The objective of fusion is to generate an image which describes a scene better or even higher than any single image with respect to some relevant properties providing an informative image. These fusion techniques are important in diagnosing and treating cancer in medical fields. This paper focuses on the development of an image fusion method using Dual Tree Complex Wavelet Transform. The results show the proposed algorithm has a better visual quality than the base methods. MITSAT provides automation of student attendance tracking using wireless technology such as Bluetooth and scalability using cloud computing. Current day student attendance tracking systems employed in universities require a lot of human intervention. Also its storage for future use consumes a lot of memory. The proposed work identifies the potential use of Bluetooth and EyeOS cloud computing platform to track students' attendance and to efficiently store and retrieve the same. The challenges associated with the state-of-the-art technologies for automation are data heterogeneity, availability, consistency and fault tolerance. The problem with Schema based SQL database is that it is not scalable horizontally and provides poor fault tolerance to partitions. The issue with the schema free NoSQL databases is that it can provide either availability and fault tolerance or consistency and fault tolerance but not all three features together. The proposed work addresses these challenges by combining schema based MySQL and schema free mongoDB databases. For robust performance under doubly dispersive channels, the prototype filter in FBMC systems must be isotropic and orthogonal in time and frequency. The existing design methods for prototype filter design are the Extended Gaussian Function (EGF) design based on Zak transform and Weighted HermitePulse (WHP) design. In this paper, it is attempted to design the prototype filter by performing time frequency analysis on the Ambiguity function of isotropic Hermite pulses. The Filter coefficients are obtained as the weighted sum of the Hermite pulses and constrained optimization is performed to find out the weights. An alternative objective function and optimization procedure is used in the present study which yield better results compared to conventional WHP problem. We can find many applications related to these processes, for example, Candidate selection for promotion, Candidate to department allotment, faculty to subject allotment, etc. In the small scale, the process is not very tedious. But, when it comes to large scale selections and allotments, the process can be very time consuming and prune to human error. So automation in this process is the need of the hour. This process requires an ample amount of decision making, and so data-mining techniques can prove to be effective methods to deal with such problems. There are many multi-class classification methods that can be used as the solution to these problems. But, decisions based only on trained classifiers with historical data-patterns, won't be sufficient in the real time allotment. There might be certain parameters that should be given more priority for the current allocation. In this paper we combine both the historical trends and biased parameters to perform the classification satisfying real time demands. We then compare and contrast its performance against various existing classification algorithms. The performance of these protocols are affected by various factors such as transmission range, speed of nodes, number of nodes etc. Another factor which affects the performance of these protocols are the movement of the mobile nodes. The mobility pattern directly influences when communication links between nodes are established or broken, which is associated with the network topology. In this paper, the performance of different routing approaches has been studied by varying transmission range. AODV, DSR, LAR, and OLSR are taken as the candidate protocols for this purpose. The performance of these protocols is evaluated and analyzed for RPGM model through simulation.
