This project sought to introduce students to the basic principles of graphic representation (two-dimensional) based on a teaching proposal in which the symbiosis \"cartographic plane - leisure pedagogy\" is used as a teaching-learning tool. The objective is to motivate and reinvigorate highly reluctant students to acquire basic knowledge, mainly theoretical, regarding the subject of \"Technical Drawing\" (Graphic Expression area) through an innovative proposal inspiring active and participatory education with the public. Through this, it was sought to encourage curiosity based on practice and action-research (participation). Outcomes produced from the pilot study point to improved motivation in the participating student group regarding drawing out a 2D plan. This is evidenced by the fact that students reported learning to be practical for their daily life. Resumen En este trabajo se presenta el diseño de un proyecto de innovación docente, denominado con el acrónimo \"OCIGraf 2D\", que versa sobre la introducción del alumnado a los principios básicos de la representación gráfica (bidimensional), a partir de una propuesta docente en la que se utiliza como herramienta de enseñanza-aprendizaje la simbiosis \"plano cartográfico - pedagogía del ocio\". El objetivo es motivar y recuperar al discente más remiso a la adquisición de conocimientos básicos, principalmente teóricos, de la materia de \"Dibujo Técnico\" (área de Expresión Gráfica) mediante una propuesta innovadora que genere una educación ciudadana activa y participativa. Desde el curso 2014/2015 se les pide que realicen un pictograma que represente cada uno de estos conceptos, dejando de manifiesto su visión de los mismos o la visión que creen que la sociedad tiene de estos. Además de poder analizar las posibles dificultades que el alumnado tiene para realizar un pictograma, este ejercicio sirve para profundizar en el modo en el que perciben el diseño, el arte y la artesanía, lo que tiene especial relevancia al tratarse de futuros docentes de esta área de conocimiento. Estos pictogramas se analizan a partir de las premisas dadas a cerca de las características que debe cumplir un buen pictograma y, además, en busca de los ámbitos de cada disciplina y los objetos más representados en cada uno de los conceptos, siendo estos los ordenadores para el diseño, las paletas y los pinceles para el arte y los jarrones para la artesanía. Como conclusiones, además de las relacionadas con la representación de los conceptos, se expone el buen funcionamiento de la actividad para introducir en el diseño de pictogramas. Abstract This article analyzes the vision that the students of the Plastic and Visual Arts specialty of the master’s degree in Teacher Training for ESO, Baccalaureate, FP and Language Teaching at the Complutense University of Madrid have about the concepts of design, art and crafts. Since the 2014/2015 academic year, they are asked to make a pictogram that represents each of these concepts, revealing their vision of them or the vision they believe society has of them. In addition to being able to analyze the possible difficulties that students have in making a pictogram, this exercise serves to deepen the way in which they perceive design, art and crafts, which is especially relevant when dealing with future teachers in this area of knowledge.These pictograms are analyzed from the premises given about the characteristics that a good pictogram must meet and, in addition, in search of the areas of each discipline and the most represented objects in each of the concepts, these being the computers for design, palettes and brushes for art and vases for crafts. This document aims to set the basis for the development of tools and methods that teachers can implement to deliver more useful feedback. This report presents the results of qualitative research that consisted of visiting and observing teachers during their day-to-day feedback activities in the design studio. Participants were selected upon heterogeneity criteria, thus involving lecturers of graphic, industrial, fashion, urban and interior design, as well as architecture and civil engineering. Findings show seven actions that can improve feedback practices from the critical thinking standpoint: focusing on time management and decision making, encouraging alternative route exploration, promoting peer-to-peer feedback, establishing dialogue, and encouraging reflective thinking. Finally, four directive actions are presented as a starting point to design a model that aids developing and promoting critical thinking and student-centered feedback practices: knowing, discovering, socializing, and reflecting. Este planteamiento de “invertir” con respecto a la clase tradicional ha sido aplicado a las practicas de laboratorio de la asignatura de Expresion Grafica en el Grado en Ingenieria en Tecnologias Industriales en el curso 2018-19 de la Universitat Politecnica de Valencia. La clase inversa se organizo en sesiones semanales con visionado de videos antes y despues de clase y resolucion de ejercicios durante y despues de clase, detallando el procedimiento seguido en cada sesion presencial. Todo ello gestionado desde la aplicacion Lessons. La metodologia flipped-classroom nos ha permitido aumentar la motivacion de los alumnos, dilucidar y contrastar la percepcion de los alumnos en relacion al metodo de aprendizaje tradicional, favorecer el autoprendizaje y el aprendizaje colaborativo en el aula entre alumnos, asi como mejorar la comunicacion entre alumno y profesor. Por lo que respecta a la evaluacion se aprecia una mejora en las calificaciones, asi como una valoracion positiva a la implementacion de la clase inversa. Abstract The Flipped Classroom teaching method is presented as an active method in which the normal procedure is inverted. The students watch video sessions or polyformats in line with the concepts taught in the normal class. This inverted approach with respect to the traditional class was applied to lab practice sessions in the subject of Graphic Expression as part of the Industrial Technologies Engineering Degree course at the Universitat Politecnica de Valencia in the year 2018-19. The flipped classroom took place in weekly sessions with video sessions before and after, while problems were set to be solved during and after the class. The procedure was followed up later in in-class sessions. Everything was controlled by the Lessons app. This method was seen to increase students’ motivation and clarify their perceptions to a greater degree than the traditional teaching method, while encouraging self-learning and collaborative learning among the class members and improving student-lecturer communications. Se centra, especialmente, en trayectos de rutas senderistas, permitiendo orientar a los que practican dicha actividad, ademas de una correcta interpretacion. Estas senales e indicadores pueden ser marcas de pintura homologadas, hitos o mojones depiedra, balizas, paneles informativos, postes indicativos, vertices geodesicos y senales de IMBA Espana entre otras. La aparicion de nuevas necesidades en el senderismo requiere de informar sobre los posibles recorridos y utilizar nuevos materiales y conceptos. Por esta razon, se realiza previamente una revision de signos y factores que envuelven este campo del diseno con la finalidad de facilitar datos tecnicos a los disenadores y simplificar la descodificacion de estos signos a los usuarios, ademas de aportar seguridad durante su trayecto y evitar asi perdidas o accidentes. Abstract This research arises from the analysis of signage located in different surroundings and in contact with the environment, in order to solve problems derived from the erroneous use of ergonomics, typography, color, pictograms, materials, supports and the elements of sustentation, as well as the possible atmospheric agents that could act in their degradation. It focuses, especially, on paths of hiking routes, allowing orientation to those who practice this activity, in addition to a correct interpretation. These signs and indicators can be homologated paint marks, milestones or stone markers, beacons, information panels, indicative posts, geodesic vertices and signs of IMBA Spain among others. The appearance of new needs in hiking requires to inform about the possible routes and to use new materials and concepts. For that purpose, we will take advantage of the possibilities that education-oriented technologies have to offer. Our research goes beyond the teaching of design and art disciplines and incorporates innovative strategies that encourage students to contribute with their performance capacity in autonomous and collaborative tasks. In this pursuit, we detail two experiences that have been put into action by members of the research group DiSEA from UNIR University. These two approaches apply the possibilities of online distance learning combined with more playful and practical facets. The aim is to help students to assimilate theoretical contents with the involvement of experience and the direct leadership of students in educational actions. We show the results that can be drawn of these practices as examples of implication and motivation of students in relation with the proposed tasks.
