Disambiguation is such a hard problem for Chinese information processing (CIP) that it attracts many researchers. In order to present a new solution to disambiguation as well as to the related researches in CIP, this paper applies an ant colony optimization(ACO) approach, called AntSeg, to the elimination of the segmentation ambiguity. AntSeg converts the traditional segmentation problem into a graph search problem. This paper implements a simple ACO algorithm and conducts a lot of experiments, comparing with the state-of-the-art system. Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy systems can usually approximate nonlinear systems and can even describe a certain class of nonlinear system exactly. When we consider the output feedback control of Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy systems, the selection of premise variables plays an important role. If the premise variable is the state of the system, then a fuzzy system describes a wide class of nonlinear systems. However, the state is not measurable in the output feedback control problem. In this case, a control design of the underlying nonlinear system based on its fuzzy system description is difficult. In this paper, we consider an H infin output feedback control problem. In this problem, the premise variable may not be measurable. Thus we formulate an Hinfin output feedback control problem of fuzzy systems as a robust Hinfin control of uncertain systems. This paper describes a technique called substitution and segment-run length encoding (SSRLE) for including binary data in XML documents. Traditional encodings like base 64 and ASCII 85 use a subset of the available printable characters and add considerable space overhead. Alternatives such as packaging and binary XML encodings do not preserve the portability of XML documents. SSRLE uses additional printable characters for substitutions and segment-run lengths to provide savings in terms of the space overhead, with a worst case overhead equal to that of base 64. In the context of active intermediaries, current solution for data integrity such as inline method can't provide integrity protection for Web resource without text-based content structure (e.g. HTML forms). In addition, the current solution can't help the server to validate the integrity of Web resource, which is required in some Internet application fields. Thus, in this paper we propose a RDF-based annotation framework as a general-purpose approach to provide data integrity for Web resources. The annotation framework can support any kinds of Web resource using a single RDF-based annotation file to describe the integrity related information, and it stores the annotation files in the specialized annotation server so that both the client and the server can validate data integrity. The framework operation, protocol extension, delivery mechanism and language support are covered in this paper. A face array listing (topology), which defines the vertex (mesh point) connectivity and the shape of the mesh, is pre-assigned to meet the desired scanning. Stable meshing, and hence, an accurate approximation, free from the shape ambiguity unavoidable in the widely used \"retrieving topology from geometry\" modeling procedures based on, for instance, Delaunay tessellations, is then accomplished. However, there are times when the concern proves to be a false positive. In a previous paper, \"An Approach to Analyzing the Windows and Linux Security Models\", a set of metrics was proposed to assess risks quantitatively Xinyue Song, et al (2006). However, with the risk quantified, there is still not a clearly defined way of distinguishing between the true and false positives on the continuum of security risks. An effective method needs to be developed to solve this problem. In this paper, a new set of qualitative metrics is proposed in order to draw a correct conclusion on the criticality of a privilege escalation case. This set of qualitative metrics works more effectively to answer this question. Two cases are examined to demonstrate how this set of qualitative metrics works. Through a comparison of these two cases, it is demonstrated that the question of true or false positive to privilege escalation can be answered correctly.
