A continuous monitoring of the transformer is crucial in ensuring a longer life spend service of the transformer. This paper focuses on the characterization of transformer oil using optical detection method at wavelengths below 1000 nm, which can be detected using Silicon photodetector. Transformer oil samples with 5 different concentrations of inhibitor content were prepared for the optical characterization from 950 nm to 970 nm. The results of the experiment show an excellent correlation between the concentration of inhibitor content in the oil and the magnitude of the peak absorbance at the 959 nm wavelength. Therefore researcher, scientists and customers are showing keen interest to develop a electric vehicles (EVs). It is because emission of carbon dioxide from conventional combustion engine affects the green house. Because electric motors are the main source of EV. It is presented as one of the possible switched flux machine (SFM) to meet the requirements. A novel permanent magnet flux switching machine (PMFSM) based on modular rotor is proposed for light weight electric vehicles. Primarily, modular rotor PMSFM is designed on JMAG software version 14. The performance of Proposed modular PMFSM design is investigated in terms of coil test, flux line distribution, back EMF, cogging torque., torque, and power at no load and load conditions. Conventionally, power and distribution transformer has been using mineral oil as its insulating material. Mineral oil is at a disadvantage in terms of poor biodegradability in the event of accidental spill causing contamination of water and soil. This strengthens the determinations to find a suitable substitute for mineral oil based transformer oil. For the past few years, there has been a growing concern in using vegetable oil. These fluids are currently being used in the range of small to medium distribution power transformers. Palm oil, Coconut oil, Canola oil and Rapeseed oil are an example of vegetable oil used as insulation oil. Thresholding the image in binary form couldn’t give an analysis enough details on its significant features. This study is introducing an Enhanced Region-specific algorithm, ERS to extract the captured digital Kirlian effect as human radiated energy inside an EPI (Electrophotonic Imaging) image. By utilizing image morphology transform, ERS is improving the procedure of blob extraction process by fitting an absolute arithmetic process in-between the gray-level and binary slice of the image. Henceforth, this paper is focusing on the image quality analysis after the process, subsequently offers a new diagnostic information on captured Kirlian effects through an EPI image. This paper present that the quality of processed digital effect under ERS algorithm are in lower MSE and higher PSNR with its correlation coefficient to its original image better than segmented and binary slices. Few feature descriptor methods have been chosen which are Histogram of Oriented Gradient (HOG), Speeded-Up Robust Features (SURF), Binary Robust Invariant Scalable Keypoints (BRISK) and Fast Retina Keypoints (FREAK). The non-maximally decimated filter banks allows the decimation factor being smaller than the number of parallel outputs to support applications requiring oversampling outputs of the filter bank. This paper presents a hardware structure of non-maximally decimated filter bank based on polyphase filtering and fast Fourier transform. This structure is derived by manipulating multirate signal flow graphs and is proven to require the same hardware complexity as that reported in the literature. In this study, a book tracking RFID-based system has been designed and developed to replace the existing library barcoding system. This system enables the librarians to minimise the spent time that is required for scanning barcodes during charging and discharging process.
