Websites has been instrumental in complementing business with greater outreach to people. Every company/business and even individuals have their websites to reach people, promote their offerings, sell products over the internet etc. Desktops which once used to be primary producer and consumer of information have long been overtaken by mobile devices. Internet usage in mobiles has exploded. Websites which used to be viewed on desktops are now being viewed on mobiles. This paradigm shift has lead to the evolution of internet for mobile devices and web in particular. This transformation from desktop to mobiles has changed how websites are now conceptualized, strategized, implemented. The language of the web has also evolved with a mobile outlook. The paper discusses the different migration facets like the application types to be considered when migrating a desktop website to a mobile site, best practices, supporting a wide range of devices, design approaches, maintaining a single codebase for all devices, etc. It presents a criteria sheet to help a developer choose the right development approach for migration.","PeriodicalId":400178,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Green Computing and Internet of Things (ICGCIoT)","volume":"23 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-10-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121711658","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

But, their open and dynamic nature renders them more suspicious to different kinds of security attacks than the wired networks. To meet these challenges, certificate revocation is a mechanism to provide secure network communication services. Certificate revocation is used to segregate attackers from participating in network activities in future. A Cluster-based Certificate Revocation mechanism is the best scheme used to revoke the certificates of malicious node present in the network. It provides the capability of detecting the falsely accused node in the network and revokes the certificate of that node to address the problem of false accusation. To improve the reliability of this mechanism, warned nodes are kept apart from certificate revocation mechanism.","PeriodicalId":400178,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Green Computing and Internet of Things (ICGCIoT)","volume":"27 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-10-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130454940","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As several web services provide similar functionality for a single service, so in order to select the optimized web service there is a need to integrate different web services. Integrating several web services leads to composition which is known as web service composition, which helps the user to execute complex business processes and transactions. QoS is one of the major issues in designing of composite web services. In this paper, a systematic service selection approach is proposed to select the optimal service.","PeriodicalId":400178,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Green Computing and Internet of Things (ICGCIoT)","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-10-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131810050","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is an effective technique which combines various learning algorithms so as to improve the overall prediction accuracy. The Ensemble technique works on a philosophy that a group of experts gives more accurate decisions as compared to a single expert. Ensemble modelling combines the set of classifiers to create a single composite model which is better in accuracy. In this paper we proposed a hybrid ensemble classifier that combines the representative algorithms of Instance based learner, Naïve Bayes Tree and Decision Tree Algorithms using voting methodology. We apply this ensemble classifier on 28 bench mark dataset. The ensemble is also compared with the Naive Bayes, Rule Learner, Decision Tree, Bagging and Boosting Algorithms.","PeriodicalId":400178,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Green Computing and Internet of Things (ICGCIoT)","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-10-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127553102","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this article, we proposed a robust algorithm to detect moving objects in a video, based on the combination of discrete cosine transform (DCT) and principal component analysis (PCA). The elementary frequency components are obtained from separable property of DCT and the dimensionality of these components is usually high. In order to reduce dimensionality and to extract effective features of the elementary frequencies, PCA approach is used. The proposed method is tested on standard PETS dataset and other real time video sequences collected from various sources. Experimental results obtained for the proposed method are encouraging.","PeriodicalId":400178,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Green Computing and Internet of Things (ICGCIoT)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-10-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131007395","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We proposed a novel facial-expression analysis system design that focused on automatically recognize facial expressions and reducing the doubt and confusion between facial-expression classes. The information used in facial expression concentrates mostly on important parts of faces, which gives information of facial regions like mouth, eye and eyebrow. These regions then segmented from the facial expression images. For this, a new Extraction method is introduce to segment efficiently facial feature contours or outline using Vector Field Convolution (VFC) technique. Depending on the detected contours or outlines, extracting facial feature points, this helps in facial-expression deformations. To detect facial features we applied Log Gabor filters and for classification, SVM is applied. Among the detected points, a set of distances classify in model to define prediction rules through data mining technique. These prediction rules are able to classify facial expressions.","PeriodicalId":400178,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Green Computing and Internet of Things (ICGCIoT)","volume":"36 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-10-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133405936","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In tradition inverters, Harmonics can be eliminated by using large size of filters due to the lower order harmonics. This leads to increase the overall size, volume and cost of an inverter. But in MLI, the implementation of selective harmonic elimination (SHE) techniques eliminates lower order harmonics. In this work, the Particle Swarm Optimization algorithm (PSO) is applied to find the optimum switch angles which eliminates the lower order harmonics. PSO based optimization is applied for seven and nine level MLI. The simulation results are much closer with experimental result for seven and nine level inverter which provides better solution in comparison with existing algorithm.","PeriodicalId":400178,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Green Computing and Internet of Things (ICGCIoT)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-10-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132162897","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Anno Mate uses accelerometer based Hand Writing Recognition (HWR) and analog interactive voice response system (IVRS) for its working. It works in two modes, the Read Mode and the Write Mode. In the Read Mode, motion of the pen is detected by the accelerometer, the data collected by it is processed in microcontroller and further transmitted to the PC where an HWR algorithm classifies the data into a recognized alphabet of the English language. After recognition of the letter, the output in the form of its correct pronunciation is generated via the IVRS. In the Write Mode the accelerometer continuously monitors the motion of the pen and indicates through the IVRS if any motion is anomalous with regard to a particular letter. Hence the Anno Mate is an autonomous, real time and interactive guide which can prove as an aid for dyslexic while they write.","PeriodicalId":400178,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Green Computing and Internet of Things (ICGCIoT)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-10-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133216166","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This problem remains prominent in almost every kind of water body, guarded or unguarded. It is a major issue with very trivial and inefficient solutions currently available. Our paper intends to provide a proposal to help resolving this problem. We propose a system which would act instantly and intelligently in case of any such emergency. The main idea of the system is to send out a projectile from the land to the water body, containing a basic safety package, to the person in distress and alerting the concerned emergency related authorities too. Hence, giving the drowning person enough support and help to either get back to safety or at least stay alive till the authorities arrive for help. For understanding the distress condition of the swimmer a remote distress device is used for sending the distress signal. This provides a novel solution to the soaring issue of drowning and is meant to surely save lives.","PeriodicalId":400178,"journal":{"name":"2015 International Conference on Green Computing and Internet of Things (ICGCIoT)","volume":"39 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-10-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128842507","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
