The main idea of the system is to send out a projectile from the land to the water body, containing a basic safety package, to the person in distress and alerting the concerned emergency related authorities too. Hence, giving the drowning person enough support and help to either get back to safety or at least stay alive till the authorities arrive for help. For understanding the distress condition of the swimmer a remote distress device is used for sending the distress signal.
