Such relevance in the socio-cultural context requires a continuous pursuit of technical excellence in order to offer an increasingly attractive product to the viewer. Therefore, it is mandatory to care about the coverage and quality of the TV signal, especially when it comes to Digital TV. In this scenario, it is imperative to study propagation models to predict the coverage allowing broadcasters to properly project their stations and regulators to distribute the channels harmoniously. On the other hand, we observed that several metrics have been proposed to assess different aspects of a network structure. In this paper we propose that a set of metrics can be combined in order to obtain a fast estimation of a WDM network performance, based on a historical database of networks. The estimator was obtained by means of the most used Artificial Neural Network (ANN) architecture, called Multi-Layer Perceptron, that was trained using the classical back-propagation algorithm. According to our results, it is possible to build an estimator based on network metrics that assess WDM networks considering the trade-off between the processing time and the precision of the results. We used the commercial TDR model VG400, which was originally developed for determining soil moisture, making this study an original approach for qualifying fuels. Several samples of alcohol with the addition of its main contaminants (water and methanol) were prepared and measured with the TDR sensor. On its geostationary orbit it will demonstrate new space appropriate technology of a 26 GHz patch antenna array with integrated low noise amplifiers (LNA), MEMS switching of the RF signal and FPGA mission control. The antenna consists of a multi-layer structure including a pre selector band pass filter to suppress other radio sources on the Heinrich-Hertz satellite. The reception antenna consists of five 2×2 array of circular patch antennas with a feeding network. A temperature stabilized LNA is buried into the PCB stack to minimize transmission line losses in front of it. Several rectangular antenna array geometries are investigated namely 2×1, 1×2, 2×2, 2×4 and 4×2 for aerospace microwave applications. Simulations are performed using Ansoft HFSS commercial software. Simulated results are shown for the antenna arrays return loss, resonant frequencies, bandwidth, and gain, taking into account the array geometry and number of patch elements. To validate the simulated results, several prototypes are built and measured. The UPE profiles of acute stressed sprouts present initially higher increase but after 6 hours a fast decrease. These variations for the profiles local angular coefficient are so correlated to germination parameters - roots elongation and biomass gain - with clear difference between the stressed and control samples. In order to develop novel subharmonic mixer architectures it is necessary to know the exact signal phase at the nonlinear element. The purpose of this paper is to generalize the description of the small-signal admittance in a Schottky-diode mixer where the phase can be set arbitrarily. It is shown that only for the case of a fundamental frequency mixer this admittance becomes a purely real valued conductance. To test the theory a ×4 subharmonic sub-millimeter wave mixer is designed and simulated. The symbol precoding technique achieves a 3 dB PAPR reduction without adding excess bandwidth to the OFDM signal. The CT filter has a cross coupling that produces a single attenuation pole at finite frequency used to shape the bandpass response. Ring resonators are properly located with respect to the input and output feed lines, in order to get good isolation response, and also to suppress channel interfering and to meet the design specifications for applications in mobile communication.
