Over the last decade, the region is vulnerable to deforestation, degradation and illegal activities. Frequent monitoring in terms of tree counting provides useful information for various stakeholders such as forest management, government institutions, and environmental agencies. Existing monitoring methods include labour intensive manual observations and satellite imaging remote sensing technology. Satellite-based imagery is low resolution, infrequent, and sometimes include cloud cover. To overcome these drawbacks, this research utilises UAV-based high-resolution RGB images processed by machine learning algorithm to detect tree species, i.e., Sugarpalm, Clove, and Coconut. We compared many deep learning algorithms and found that YOLOv5 model is lightweight, easy to use, fast and accurate for tree species identification.","PeriodicalId":391964,"journal":{"name":"2022 8th International Conference on Information Management (ICIM)","volume":"34 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130297841","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

At the same time, more and more individual and enterprise users use VPN s to encrypt transmitted content to protect communication privacy. However, the operators and CSPs(Carrier Service Provider) are interested in their subscribers who used VoIP-Over- Vpntechnology, since it will result in their huge revenue loss while the subscribers escaped the high voice charging. To solve this problem, this paper develops a mechanism to detect and mitigate the VOIP-over- VPN traffic to protect the revenue for the telecommunication industry. In this paper, an advanced packet matching engine is introduced to extract traffic packet features and flow features from encrypted VOIP traffic, and input them into an intelligent detection engine based on heuristic algorithm to identify and classify voIP-over- VPN traffic. Based on the identification and classification results, an Action engine is introduced to block, shape, charge or report the event records. Through plenty of experiments and practices, the VOIP-over-VPN detection and mitigation solution proposed in this paper can achieve more than 95% detection accuracy, and can be alleviated according to different mitigation policies.","PeriodicalId":391964,"journal":{"name":"2022 8th International Conference on Information Management (ICIM)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128769588","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For this reason, there are a larger number of gas installation projects, which generate a greater amount of waste causing environmental, economic, and social impacts. Based on this, companies are not prepared nor aware that they must improve their waste management plans in public works. The contribution of this article is to introduce a Lean model in an industry where Lean tools are not frequently used, seeking to increase efficiency in the Construction and Demolition Waste (CDW) management. The proposed model is based on the Plan- Do-Check-Act cycle, and it is subdivided into two components, starting with the 5S methodology that goes hand in hand with Transportation Management, and ending with Process Standardization. The results revealed that waste management efficiency increased by 9%.","PeriodicalId":391964,"journal":{"name":"2022 8th International Conference on Information Management (ICIM)","volume":"84 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127133177","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The causes such as long distances between machines and lack of quality control in metalworking companies, causes unnecessary movements and at the same time an excess of product manufacturing time. To solve this problem, a hybrid model was developed that uses the SLP tools, 5s and the Kanban-Conwip hybrid system that, applied in the metalworking sector, allowed to reduce the unnecessary movements, optimize the use of the plant size and improve the relation between areas. Whose result could reduce 15.74% of unnecessary movements, which is equivalent to about 9.09 meters per day, resulting in an increase in productivity by 12.5%.","PeriodicalId":391964,"journal":{"name":"2022 8th International Conference on Information Management (ICIM)","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115514833","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Many systematic reviews have analyzed the usefulness of AR and the impact of AR on students learning. They also measured the effect of moderators, such as level of education, fields, control treatment, learning environment, display devices, the sampling size, intervention duration and pedagogical approaches. However, most of the previous studies failed to analyze the difference of AR on different types of academic performance, nor did they make relevant studies on the different effects of different types of AR applications on students' academic performance. This meta-analysis review studies the specific impact of augmented reality learning experiences (ARLEs) on students' academic performance. Moreover, the effect of ARLEs on different types of academic performance was also measured. Along with taking into account moderating factors such as education level and fields, we also examined the impact of different types of ARLEs on academic performance. The results show that: (a) the combined effect size of the included researches is 0.997, which is a large effect, indicating that ARLEs has a positive effect on the academic performance of students; (b) The impact of AR on the four types of academic performance in “the 21st Century” is significantly different, of which the learning and innovative skills has the greatest impact; (c) The impact of ARLEs on students' academic performance is positively correlated with student age; (d)Fields and AR types do not significantly regulate the main effect value. The findings of this study will contribute to the acceptance of ARLEs by teachers and students, and will provide a guiding principle for the rational development and application of ARLEs.","PeriodicalId":391964,"journal":{"name":"2022 8th International Conference on Information Management (ICIM)","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117279388","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
