In this sense, this research work proposes an inventory management model applying the cycle counting method that seeks to minimize the inventory differences of a company that markets and distributes laboratory equipment. The proposed model is structured in four stages. In the first stage, a multi-criteria inventory classification was performed by applying the ABC-AHP analysis. In the second stage, the Holt method was applied as a forecasting technique. In the third stage, the inventory policies were established, being continuous review for class A and periodic review for classes B and C. In the last stage, cycle counting was developed as a method of inventory counting and indicators associated with the accuracy of the inventory register.","PeriodicalId":391964,"journal":{"name":"2022 8th International Conference on Information Management (ICIM)","volume":"192 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116142473","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, no research has proposed a management approach that studies the organizational elements that conceive safety management as a source of strategical performance to a company. In this study, we aim to shed light into a possible theoretical path that could bridge this issue in the construction industry. We present a framework explaining how Knowledge Management can leverage both worlds under the condition of having a psychological safe environment. After, we draw final considerations, limitations, and indications to further studies.","PeriodicalId":391964,"journal":{"name":"2022 8th International Conference on Information Management (ICIM)","volume":"37 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124761704","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For the optimal allocation resources of the cloud manufacturing, many experts and scholars individually consider time, quality, or cost factors related to manufacturing products, but do not fully consider the multi-objective requirements of products, for example, the scheduling problem of simultaneously considering the deadline and cost of products in the cloud manufacturing. Aiming at the above problems, a cloud manufacturing scheduling optimization algorithm based on non-cooperative games is proposed. The algorithm uses non-cooperative game methods to deal with the scheduling question of the deadline and cost constraints of products. For the selection of network resources in the scheduling process, the Nash equilibrium strategy is adopted. Select the network manufacturing resources that can not only meet the deadline constraints but also reduce the product cost in the scheduling processing. The Experimental results show that the algorithm can effectively solve the scheduling problem with deadline and cost constraints in the cloud manufacturing.","PeriodicalId":391964,"journal":{"name":"2022 8th International Conference on Information Management (ICIM)","volume":"63 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121101877","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Digital technologies merge with physical production processes provoking changes in value creation processes. These changes may lead to positive effects such as more effectiveness, revised business models, and closer customer contact. However, there are also adverse effects hindering the digital transformation journey. As many firms still struggle, it is essential to understand the barriers that slow down or stop a digital transformation. We reevaluate and extend an existing model using a triangulation approach based on qualitative data from 525 respondents working in different sectors. The result is a holistic socio-technical model of the barriers to digital transformation consisting of seven distinct dimensions. The model can serve as input for future research instruments such as cause-effect models. In addition, firms can use it to reflect barriers in their digital transformation.","PeriodicalId":391964,"journal":{"name":"2022 8th International Conference on Information Management (ICIM)","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117009769","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

With the formulation and implementation of policies related to insurance standardization in China, standardization has been widely promoted and applied in the national insurance system. China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission attaches great importance to insurance standardization management system work. In 2005, it established the Insurance Sub-Technical Committee of the National Financial Standardization Technical Committee to strengthen the unified management of insurance standardization work. With the support of insurance policy and the promotion of the organization of standardization institutions, China's Insurance standardization management system has developed rapidly. This paper describes the current situation and existing problems of China's Insurance standardization through the descriptive research method, and provides relevant suggestions for the existing problems, so as to provide reference suggestions for the construction of China's Insurance standardization.","PeriodicalId":391964,"journal":{"name":"2022 8th International Conference on Information Management (ICIM)","volume":"2010 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121790419","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Solvers' sustained participation level, especially in crowdsourcing contests, remains low. Therefore, this study focuses on identifying the factors that facilitate solvers' participation level. As per the social cognitive perspective, self- efficacy belief was proposed as the dictating factor of solvers' behavior. We propose a typology of solvers' self-efficacy belief in crowdsourcing contests, which includes work-domain knowledge self-efficacy and online strategic behavior self-efficacy. Meanwhile, we identified the factors that decrease solvers' emotional barriers in self-efficacy construction. To test our hypothesis, we will employ the dynamic research design by collecting data from solvers over ten months to test the changes in the constructs. The results will contribute to extending the current understanding of solvers' behavior and highlight the factors that facilitate solvers' participation.","PeriodicalId":391964,"journal":{"name":"2022 8th International Conference on Information Management (ICIM)","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132980114","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
