In this paper, we propose a security method of masking digital messages in signals with OFDM-modulation by chaotic sequences formed with Chebyshev's polynomials of the 1-st kind of different orders. The evaluation of Independent and Identically Distributed (IID) security (level of masking the signal to noise) of signals formed with the proposed method is passing over. Simulation results have shown that in comparison with systems that use harmonical signals with OFDM-modulation, chaotic signals with OFDM-modulation with signal constellation can ensure a higher level of IID-security. This has been confirmed by the computed values of Brock Dechert Scheinkman (BDS) statistics, the type of time realization, energy spectrum, and “shape” in the pseudo-phase space. The obtained results give grounds to claim that the application of the proposed method will allow providing the required level of IID-secrecy in systems with OFDM-modulation. Consequently, it can provide reliable data protection from unauthorized access, which is especially relevant for information telecommunication systems for special purposes.","PeriodicalId":391592,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 8th International Conference on Problems of Infocommunications, Science and Technology (PIC S&T)","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115490674","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

There are many classical approaches to estimate the expected price, such as auto-regression, moving averages, combination of both in the form of ARMA and ARIMA models, and many more. But with the development of technology, completely new techniques arise. In the current study we are attempting to use deep learning techniques, by training a simple (small number of layers) Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) on the graphical representation of the prices, in black and white scale. Normally, CNNs are used to classify data and are not very well suited to generated ‘regression type’ results. For that reason, we are basing our short-term (work week) price estimation on a categorical result. We use the daily standard deviation as a measure in order to split the future price in seven categories. The results show that CNN is able to effectively improve naive estimation of the price. Also, we uncover few problems and possible solutions that arise during the training of the model, related to over-fitting.","PeriodicalId":391592,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 8th International Conference on Problems of Infocommunications, Science and Technology (PIC S&T)","volume":"296 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127558969","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

People have turned from objects who only receive information to subjects who are able to make relatively independent decisions. Moreover, the use of info communication technologies has significantly changed not only the conditions of development of individuals, but also the conditions of the development of whole national and world economies. Many established companies and new businesses have made millions using the info communication technologies, and many are hoping to do the same. In this study, we explore the role of info communication technologies in the Dot-com crisis and in the implementation of unconventional monetary policy. The Dot.com crisis is considered as one of the stimulating factors for the use of the unconventional monetary policy. The influence of the Dot.com bubble and unconventional monetary policy on the socio-economic development of countries is also revealed. We are also studying the possibility of a repeat of such a crisis today. It is difficult to argue that the growing popularity of info communication technologies, an increase in the number of companies in this area and a sharp increase in stock market indicators will lead to a repeat of the 2000 crisis, but it is still necessary to study these trends and learn lessons from past crises.","PeriodicalId":391592,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 8th International Conference on Problems of Infocommunications, Science and Technology (PIC S&T)","volume":"338 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122641505","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The idea for creating a structure of the platform for periodic electronic publications is to aid the application for inclusion of scientific journals in the electronic databases Scopus and Web of Science, which requires the publisher to implement the selection criteria, strictly established by these systems. This is one solution for a web-based platform, supporting the electronic journals of multiple organizations like universities and educational institutions, each having its own unique design and structure, but all meeting the requirements of the global indexing systems and following the Open Access policies. Even though it supports multiple unique websites, the platform is designed using a single repository architecture, avoiding unnecessary duplications of code and design. The platform helps the organizations by providing them with the software solution for publishing their periodic publications and making sure all requirements and standards are met and only unique and quality scientific articles are published. It uses popular open-source technologies to meet its requirements, so it doesn't require any additional costs for software, except for the underlying server and network infrastructure.","PeriodicalId":391592,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 8th International Conference on Problems of Infocommunications, Science and Technology (PIC S&T)","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133492403","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Searching network traffic for a large set of signatures, NIDS perform a computationally intensive task of multi-pattern string matching. Because traditional software alone approaches can no longer meet the high throughput of today's networking, hardware solutions are proposed to accelerate this task. Reconfigurable devices of type Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) have become increasingly popular for this purpose, because they combine the flexibility of software and high performance of hardware due to powerful possibilities of paralleling. This paper provides a succinct overview of the most promising approaches by analyzing numerous researches on methods and techniques for building signature-based NIDS using FPGA hardware platform.","PeriodicalId":391592,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 8th International Conference on Problems of Infocommunications, Science and Technology (PIC S&T)","volume":"656 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123048720","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
