Our model considers the following quantities: capillary tip density, chemoattractant concentration and blood vessel density. The model is continuous and consists of three partial differential equations. The result of the numerical analysis was compared with the result of the analysis of 1D model and with experimental data. Exercising the motor muscles of the eyes is one of the most effective methods of combating certain diseases of the human visual system. The paper considers the concept of a mixed reality training system using a parallel mechanism for vision training tasks. The block diagram of the system is given, its main components are described (including input unit, control unit, reprojection unit, sensor unit), as well as the principle of its operation. The full-scale assembling of the parallel manipulator has been accomplished. Other mechanisms can also be used as a manipulator. The elements of such a system were tested, namely, the registration of depth information, segmentation of the significant planes, etc. Based on this, environmental modeling was carried out. Considered technique can be alternatively utilized for fast estimation of the performance of microwave waveguide devices. Comparison with the results obtained by the wave matrix method is presented in the paper. Two mentioned methodswere used to obtain general expressions for complex reflection and transmission coefficients of a waveguide microwave device for polarization conversion. In order to test the theoretical approach weinvestigated a polarizer with two reactive diaphragms in a waveguide with a square cross section. The analytical expressions were obtained for all elements of the scattering matrix of the waveguide polarizer. Applying the obtained expressions, the main electrical parameters of the device were investigated in the operating frequency range of 9–10 GHz. The parameters under study included: phase difference between the waves with orthogonal polarizations, voltage standing wave ratio, reflection coefficient, transmission coefficient, ellipticity factor, cross-polarizationisolation.
