However, reviewing and editing large amounts of text can be a daunting and time-consuming task. Artificial intelligence-based language models, such as Chat GPT, have proven to be useful in detecting and correcting grammatical errors, improving the coherence and clarity of text, and generating additional content. The purpose of this communication is to explore the potential of Chat GPT as a tool for academic editing. The potential of Chat GPT as a tool for academic editing includes its ability to process large amounts of text and understand the structure of language, allowing for error detection, writing quality improvement, translation, summarization, data analysis, and identifying emerging trends. It should be noted that language models like Chat GPT have the potential to transform academic editing and improve the quality of scientific works. However, some limitations and challenges that must be addressed to fully harness the potential of this emerging technology were identified, and scientific editors should be aware of its limitations.","PeriodicalId":388306,"journal":{"name":"Data & Metadata","volume":"23 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126563637","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It had the contributions of three teleworkers, for which an in-depth individual interview was applied to them, which allowed us to reveal how these teleworkers carried out the different work activities in conjunction with domestic and care tasks during the COVID-19 pandemic.Results: The analysis of their speeches evidenced the little planning, organization and training that the organization provided to these teleworkers, who did not have ergonomic real estate; with uncomfortable working conditions and environment, long working hours, domestic and work activities overlapped. In addition, self-perceiving ailments such as tendonitis, neck pain, low back pain and back pain; dry eye syndrome and blurred vision; overweight and sedentary lifestyle; anxiety, isolation, demotivation and conflicts related to work-family interaction.Conclusion: The lack of organization for teleworking generates inadequate conditions and harmful effects on health. Therefore, employer organizations must be able to implement teleworking under adequate organizational principles, conditions and environment and thus preserve the health of this group of workers.","PeriodicalId":388306,"journal":{"name":"Data & Metadata","volume":"116 21","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"113935145","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This article aims to describe the general aspects of the relationship between bibliometric studies and decision-making. Data on scientific activities are increasingly being used to govern science. Research evaluations that were once individually designed for their specific context and conducted by peers are now routine and based on metrics. The issue is that the evaluation has shifted from being based on expert assessments to relying on these metrics. The opportunity to apply bibliometric techniques proves useful when making decisions that involve a redirection of all research-development plans and the selection of capable leaders to coordinate projects with the purpose of generating technological and financial resources.","PeriodicalId":388306,"journal":{"name":"Data & Metadata","volume":"43 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125368064","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Patient identification plays a crucial role in the healthcare system and involves several steps to ensure patient safety. This helps to address deficiencies and prevent medical errors and/or adverse events. Objectives: To describe the scientific evidence regarding correct patient identification as a factor in reducing adverse events and medical errors. Methods: A systematic literature review was conducted in Scopus, Web of Science, and Pubmed. Conclusions: Labeling and/or double verification systems for patients or samples in hospital settings resulted in a significant decrease in patient identification errors. However, due to the small sample size of the studies found, standardization is necessary for future meta-analyses or recommendations with a higher level of evidence. The importance of accurate patient identification in the healthcare setting was highlighted, and strategies to improve patient identification accuracy and reduce patient identification errors were presented.","PeriodicalId":388306,"journal":{"name":"Data & Metadata","volume":" 18","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"120829758","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
