The module is compared with other conventional temperature sensors used in space applications. The total process consists of comparing the temperature obtained using DS18B20 module in real time with RTD, Thermocouple and LM35. PIC16F877A microcontroller is used to read the data from the sensor and send to PC. Lab VIEW (Laboratory Virtual Instrumentation Engineering Workbench) of National Instruments, running on the computer will extract and display the data from the serial port at real time. The effective beam pattern in such cases is a combination of the elemental pattern and the array factor. In this paper, the design and evaluation of a printed log-periodic dipole antenna, that operates in the L-band, is being discussed. The antenna was fabricated on an FR-4 substrate using printed circuit technology; tested and characterized in terms of its S-parameters, return loss, and insertion loss. The radiation pattern in the azimuth and elevation planes has also been determined. The antenna is found to have a directive pattern, and is linearly polarized with a wide bandwidth. SDRP is an advanced and affordable software defined radio with inbuilt cognitive capability and MIMO capability and is highly suited for academia and professional research. The SDRP is implemented using ZYNQ XC7Z030 all programmable SOC. XC7Z030 consists of dual-core ARM Cortex-A9 based processing system and 28 nm Xilinx programmable logic KINTEX-7. For the SDRP, AD9361 is used as the transceiver. The AD9361 combines a RF front end with a flexible mixed-signal baseband section and integrated frequency synthesizers, simplifying design-in by providing a configurable digital interface to a processor. AD9361 is fully programmable using ZYNQ SOC and thus the filter properties, decimation rates, and mixing frequencies can be modified as per user requirements. Linux OS is used in the processing system of SOC. All the waveform-specific processing, like modulation, demodulation, protocol stacks etc are done on the processing system. The high-speed general purpose operations like digital up and down conversion, decimation and interpolation are done on Kintex-7 programmable logic. SDRP has Ethernet interface and PCI Express interface for data transfer to other CPU's. Other interfaces include HDMI, USB, SD Card interface and JTAG interface. The paper presents an algorithm to identify the pronominals and its antecedents in the Malayalam text input. Anaphora resolution is achieved by employing a hybrid of statistical machine learning and rule based approaches. The system is implemented by exploiting the morphological richness of the language and it makes use of parts of speech tagging, subject-object identification and person-number-gender of the NPs. We outline a simple, efficient but a naive algorithm for anaphora resolution, which computes the salience value score for each antecedents. The system performance is evaluated with precision, recall measures which produced promising results. The conventional prototype Alter design problems were concentrated on designing Alters that are isotropic and with better frequency response characteristics to reduce the out of band radiation. Time domain side lobes of the prototype Alter become significant under doubly dispersive channels with higher time spreading since it reduces signal to interference ratio as well as increases peak to average power ratio. In the present study, a novel time localized prototype Alter for FBMC systems is designed. As memories are designed very dense to the limits of the technology they might be caused of failures. In addition, defect types are becoming more complex and diverse and may escape detection during testing. The memory test methods should evolve to cover these defects corresponding to the target fabrication process and memory design. Built-in Self-Test (BIST) technique is a promising method for different types of test problems. In the memory BIST (MBIST) technology, there is a dedicated BIST controller which is used to implement a specific memory test algorithm when the chip under test (CUT) is in test mode. Implementation and performance comparison of three types of memory BIST architectures were done in this paper. Out of these, two types of MBIST are common but poor performance. By considering the performance parameters in terms of area and speed, a new type has been introduced. Embedded system applications are widely used today in aerospace, automotive areas. After the intervention of application specific operating systems, specialized real time operating systems called Vehicular Application Specific Embedded Operating Systems (VASOS) are developed. Some VASOS are VxWorks, QNX, pSOS etc. They provide functions of vehicle domain such as device drivers, fundamental network functions. OSEK and its successor AUTOSAR plays an important role in software development in automotive domain. OSEK/VDX (Open systems and corresponding interfaces for automotive electronics / Vehicle Distributed executive) is an open vehicular industry standard. It provide environment for developing and redeveloping ECU software and improve compatibility of applications needed. The OSEK OS specification is for a single processor. Various parts of OSEK/VDX are OS (the basic services of the real-time kernel), COM (the communication services), NM (the Network Management services) and OIL (OSEK Implementation Language). OSEK/VDX is an operating system meant for distributed embedded control units. The MPC5668G microcontroller is designed to address the need for more integration of electronic features within the vehicle. In the core architecture, e200z650 as the CPU and e200z0 as the input output processor (IOP). The controller is developed by Freescale on 32bit Power architecture for primary use in automotive and industrial control systems. This MCU family built for automotive gateway and high end body applications. Also, it is user compatible one. The recent developments in digital image processing have given birth to a separate branch of photoelasticity called digital photoelasticity. This method can be successfully employed to determine the stresses in structures with complicated shapes and loading. This paper gives a review of integrated photoelasticity and of its application for residual stress measurement in indeterminate structures. Every language normally has certain hidden statistically significant features and certain redundancy. These features can be utilized to form a suitable text compression tool for the optimum use of resources. Being motivated by the language studies of English and other languages based on Shannon theory, an informational analysis of Malayalam language text is done in this paper. Entropy of Malayalam language is calculated and is obtained as 4.8 bits per character. The Malayalam text compressor discussed in this paper, follows Huffman coding technique which takes both Malayalam and English alphabets along with arithmetic numbers and most probable character is represented by less number of bits. It is found that the Huffman compression algorithm achieves a compression ratio of 66 percentage for a standard Malayalam database taken.
