The incidence of cervical cancer in Indonesia in 2011 reached 100 per 100,000 population per year. To determine the relationship between female characteristics and the incidence of cervical cancer in patients in the gynecology room of the Gatot Soebroto Army Hospital in 2022. This research is a quantitative study with a case control design using primary data with a sample of 58 patients on the 2nd floor of the gynecology room. The sampling technique uses random sampling. Data analysis using univariate and bivariate using chi square. The variables associated with the incidence of cervical cancer were HPV vaccination (p=0.002), early detection of cervical cancer (p=0.003), history of smoking (p=0.009), history of vaginal discharge (p=0.014) and age at first sexual intercourse (p=0.004) with the incidence of cervical cancer, while variables that had no relationship were history of contraception (0.738). There is a relationship between HPV vaccination, early detection of cervical cancer, history of smoking, history of vaginal discharge and age at first sexual intercourse with the incidence of cervical cancer. It is expected to increase women's knowledge about the factors associated with the incidence of cervical cancer.","PeriodicalId":387635,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Midpro","volume":"33 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139371550","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Community nutrition improvement activities are the percentage of newborns receiving colostrum through early breastfeeding initiation (IMD). The results of a preliminary study conducted on 8 mothers who had babies, obtained 6 mothers who did not know about colostrum and its benefits, and had never given breast milk to their babies for the first time, and the milk was thrown away, because they thought breast milk was stale. Meanwhile, 4 mothers gave the first breast milk to their babies through early initiation of breastfeeding. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors related to the knowledge of third trimester pregnant women about the benefits of colostrum in newborns in Karangraharja village. This type of research is a quantitative survey, and data collection was carried out in a cross sectional manner. The population in this study were all third trimester pregnant women in Karangraharja village. The sample of this research is the total population with a sample of 83 respondents. This primary data was collected by distributing questionnaires. The statistical analysis used is the frequency distribution, chi square and logistic regression. Emprit ginger boiled water is one of the non-pharmacological therapies that can be used to reduce menstrual pain. Naturally, emprit ginger is believed to contain oleoresin consisting of gingerol and shogaol which can function as an analgesic. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of giving emprit ginger boiled water on reducing menstrual pain in adolescent girls in Gayaman Village, Mojoanyar Mojokerto. This type of research is an experimental quasy with a one group pre test-post test design approach. The population is adolescent girls aged 15-18 years who experience menstrual pain as many as 82 respondents. The sample size in this study was 68 respondents. Sampling is carried out using accidental sampling techniques. The instrument used in this study was a pain scale observation sheet. The results of the analysis were obtained before being given emprit ginger boiled water, half of the respondents experienced menstrual pain with a moderate pain scale of 34 (50%). After being given emprit ginger boiled water, most respondents experienced menstrual pain with a mild pain scale of 49 (72.1%). The results of the t-test test are obtained Ï = 0.00 ≤ α = 0.05 then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. This means that there is an effect of giving emprit ginger boiled water on reducing menstrual pain in adolescent girls aged 15-18 years in Gayaman Village, Mojoanyar District, Mojokerto. The results of this study can prove that emprit ginger boiled water given to adolescent girls who experience menstrual pain can help reduce menstrual pain.
