Specialists in the development and operation of virtual reality systems know that immersion into this environment may be accompanied by symptoms similar to the “motion sickness” of transport vehicle passengers (ships, aircraft, cars). In the paper, these conditions are referred to as a cybersickness (or, cyberdisease). The three leading theories, proposed as an explanation of the causes of cybersickness, are discussed: the theory of sensory conflict, the theory of postural instability (the inability to maintain equilibrium), and the evolutionary (aka toxin) theory. A frequent occurrence of symptoms of cybersickness is a conflict between visual signals and signals from the vestibular system. It is shown that such conflicts can be stimulated in the framework of a specially organized experiment (e.g., the illusion of out-of-body experience) using virtual reality systems. When competing signals (visual, auditory, kinesthetic, tactile, etc.) reach the brain, the data gained with the use of virtual reality systems give a chance to hypothetically determine the localization of the specific area in the brain that ensures the integration of multisensory stimuli.","PeriodicalId":387581,"journal":{"name":"Консультативная психология и психотерапия","volume":"175 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124315859","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Problem: the lack of reliable measures in Russian aimed at measuring phubbing and its perception in close relationships. Aim: to adapt short diagnostic scales for the Russian-speaking sample — Phubbing Scale and Partner phubbing (Pphubbing). Sample includes 337 people: 180 women and 157 men aged 18 to 35, 84 couples, partners of close relationships for 1—8 years among them. Method: Phubbing Scale, E. Karadağ, et al., 2015 and Partner phubbing (Pphubbing) by J.A. Roberts, M.E. David, 2015; reliability analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis, parametric comparison methods. Results: Phubbing Scale (α=0.83) and Partner phubbing (Pphubbing) (α=0.87) have good psychometric consistency characteristics. The results of correlation analysis and confirmatory factor analysis as a method of structural modeling confirms sufficient construct validity. Conclusion. Both measures (Phubbing Scale and Partner phubbing (Pphubbing)) differentiate respondents well according to the studied characteristics and have a high predictive value for the corresponding general population. The adapted scales can be used in phubbing studies among Russian-speaking samples.","PeriodicalId":387581,"journal":{"name":"Консультативная психология и психотерапия","volume":"23 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123161995","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The first part of the third lecture raises the issues of the historiogenesis of psychotherapy: various methodological approaches are considered, the concept of Thomas Kuhn’s paradigms and the concept of “the spirit of the time” are analyzed in relation to the history of psychotherapy. The role of the therapist’s personality in the emergence of new areas of psychotherapy is discussed. And also begins a conversation about psychoanalysis: the question of the date of its origin is raised, the characteristic of the books dedicated to the founder of psychoanalysis Sigmund Freud is given. Freud’s relationship with some of his closest associates is described. The myths surrounding psychoanalysis are being debunked. The history of psychoanalysis in Russia is touched upon.","PeriodicalId":387581,"journal":{"name":"Консультативная психология и психотерапия","volume":"18 6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126947446","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The article focuses on analysis of those studies and demonstrates principal difference of the approach used in them from other methodologies and approaches to the analysis of individual case. Russian perspective was originally based on the fundamental ideas of Lev S. Vygotsky; nevertheless, they were not sufficiently reflected in the Russian psychology. Examining Vygotsky’s texts, the authors discuss more profound reflection and further development of Vygotsky’s ideas as applied to the analysis of the individual case in the cultural-historical psychology. The article shows the possibilities to elaborate this approach on the basis of concepts by Lev Vygotsky and Mikhail Bakhtin and gives own studies of the authors as an example of such an elaboration. Furthermore, the article argues that the integration of objective cultural-historical psychology and phenomenology, hermeneutics, dialogical psychology would be of significance if developed in the direction of cultural-historical psychology of Vygotsky — Bakhtin. Such an approach allows to address general psychological issues and opens up new opportunities in certain applied studies in the field of cultural-historical psychology.","PeriodicalId":387581,"journal":{"name":"Консультативная психология и психотерапия","volume":"148 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133745772","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The stude presents a study aimed at clarifying the psychological meaning of the selfie phenomenon, the role of selfie in the life of modern teenagers. Materials and methods. The study involved 22 people, 13 girls and 9 boys, among them 17 high school students, aged 14—17, and 5 university students, aged 18—21. Interviews were conducted with the participants, and a discussion was organized regarding the issues of use and attitudes towards selfies. Processing of interview and discussion materials was carried out with the help of thematic and content analysis. Results. Various views on the psychological nature of the selfie, the reasons for its popularity among young people are considered. The author’s interpretation of the phenomenon of selfie in the context of the theory of «transitional object» by D.W. Winnicott and A. Langley’s existential analysis is presented. The paper shows that selfie is a new means of knowing oneself, building a true image of oneself through a virtual image of the body in the space between the image of the Self and reality.","PeriodicalId":387581,"journal":{"name":"Консультативная психология и психотерапия","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130961405","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We evaluated the level of anxiety of psychiatric nurses (N=55) in the conditions of the Arctic for the purpose of early identification of premorbid states, prevention of emergence of psycho-emotional disturbances, and psychosomatic diseases in nurses. We determined that work experience, age, and shift work influenced the level of situational and personal anxiety. It was revealed that an increase in anxiety which is a symptom of psycho-emotional tension, depended on social factors (income and marital status), shift work, and managerial responsibilities and can be aggravated both with features of professional activity, and accommodation to the conditions of the Far North.","PeriodicalId":387581,"journal":{"name":"Консультативная психология и психотерапия","volume":"20 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121914562","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The sample included 105 patients directed to the commission for inclusion in the waiting list of HT (WLHT) in the Almazov National Medical Research Centre. After 6 months of hospitalization, the patients were divided into two groups: those included in WLHT initially who kept their positions (n=55; Group 1), and those who were excluded or not included initially (n=50; Group 2). Methods: The Ways of Coping Questionnaire and Purpose in Life Test. It was found out that the most endorsed coping strategies were confrontation, positive reappraisal and self-control for Group 1, and distancing and escape/avoidance for Group 2. The significant increase in the life purposefulness general score, and subscale scores reflecting goals, time perspective and internal locus of control was observed in Group 1. We conclude that the obtained data can be used in planning psychological work with patients with CHF during the period of waiting for HT.","PeriodicalId":387581,"journal":{"name":"Консультативная психология и психотерапия","volume":"36 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126968514","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

There were used the following methods: Questionnaire «Family Emotional Communications» by A.B. Kholmogorova, S.V. Volikova, M.G. Sorokova; Questionnaire «Experience in Close Relationships» by K.A. Chistopolskaya and co-authors; projective technique «Space of Trees and Light» by K.Adams. Results and conclusions. The results given by the projective technique «Space of Trees and Light» are in correlations with the characteristics of family dysfunctions and displays of emotional attachment of adults in close relationships. Statistical analysis of the data showed that the groups of respondents who chose a picture symbolizing one or another version of the child’s spiritual world are characterized by specific profiles of family emotional communications and the experience in close relationships. Answers to additional questions to the technique help to clarify these features. The choice of a picture that symbolizes one or another social situation of development in the parental family acts as a kind of heuristic that allows one to build hypotheses about the features of family emotional communications and about the experience in building close relationships. The technique «Space of Trees and Light» can deepen empirical research and replenish the arsenal of techniques and methods in the practical activities of psychologists.","PeriodicalId":387581,"journal":{"name":"Консультативная психология и психотерапия","volume":"55 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115266349","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
