Array units of a square-shaped opposingly facing L-structured MTM with double negative (DNG) and negative refractive index (NRI) features are explored. The top layer of the structure is formed by a copper-based SRR structure with additional splits and rectangular inner strips atop a lead glass substrate. Negative refraction bandwidth as well as DNG bandwidth, where both negative permittivity and permeability are attained, has been discovered in the array unit and different configurations of the array unit. The negative index bandwidth of the array unit, 1×2 configuration, and 2×2 configuration are at 3.774-3.781, 1.563-1.873, 1.532-1.824 THz, respectively. High Figure of Merit (FOM) is attained in all three configuration examined. Peak FOM attained at the array unit and it's 1×2 and 2×2 topologies are 63, 172, 77, respectively. Effective medium ratio (EMR) of the array unit and it's 1×2 and 2×2 topologies at 3.75, 1.65, 1.75 THz are 1.97, 2.26, 2.2, respectively. A discrete-time Proportional-Integral-Derivative (PID) controller based on phase shifted pulse width modulation (PWM) technique has been developed for the closed-loop control of the aforementioned CLLLC converter. The converter is designed with WBG switching devices to accomplish fast switching with minimal switching losses, and it is also compared to Si-based switching devices. For the proper thermal design of the converter, a precise power loss model of the switching devices has been developed. A 5 kW CLLLC converter with 400-450V DC input and 250-465V DC output with an operating frequency of 1 MHz has been designed and simulated under a variety of loading conditions. In this paper, the authors investigate the secrecy performance over $kappa-mu$ shad-owed fading channels, where the transmitted $kappa-mu$ faded signal undergoes both antenna correlation and co-channel interference process in the presence of multiple interferers. In particular, the two significant performance metrics e.g., secrecy outage probability and probability of strictly positive secrecy capacity are derived in closed-form. Furthermore, the effects of fading severity, antenna correlation, and multiple interferers on secrecy performance are analyzed. It is observed that besides correlation, interference also drastically affects the secrecy performance. To avoid hacking at various levels, there exists a significant number of techniques for data transmission. Data security issues have led to developing a stronger algorithm in cryptography and steganography which have also led us to develop a secure data transmission model by concealing both image and text data simultaneously through the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) algorithm and LSB-based image steganography. To develop a robust and effective model we have followed four steps in both sender and receiver end for enhancing the data security. On the sender side, first, the targeted image is encrypted using AES then the targeted text data is concealed within the AES encrypted image based on the LSB algorithm. The data security is increased further by masking this blended text image with a cover image using LSB-based image steganography. Finally, the Stego image is split and indexed for secure data transmission from the sender end. Since decryption is the reverse mathematical process of encryption, at the receiving end, inverse steps are performed sequentially to retrieve the image and text of interest. Multiple attempts on PPG Derived Respiration have been made; these approaches are based on various signal processing strategies such as wavelets, filtering, and other statistical methods. The principal component analysis is a technique for identifying patterns in the dataset and expressing them in a way that highlights their similarities and contrasts. As the patterns in data might be difficult to discover in high-dimensional data without the benefit of graphical presentation, PCA is a useful technique for evaluating such data. Empirical Mode Decomposition is suitable for extracting key components that are specific to the underlying biological or physiological processes. This paper examines the EMD method and associated algorithms, as well as some examples of applications. The suggested EMD technique successfully retrieved respiratory information from PPG signals when tested on PPG signals from the well-known Capnobase database from the Physio bank archive. To reduce the air pollution due to the exhausts of these vehicles, the integration of battery electric vehicles (BEVs) based e-transportation system is a crying need. So far, no extensive studies have addressed the impacts of ICEVs on pollution in Dhaka city. In this study, we tried to address two issues: the emission of the current fleet of ICEVs and estimated the reduction of emission if electric vehicles were introduced phase by phase in Dhaka city and its impact on the power grid. It is found that the introduction of EVs will significantly reduce carbon dioxide emission in the next ten years. From our analysis, it was found that if we could introduce 15% EVs, with the current primary energy mix for electricity generation, about 4.4% of CO2 emission can be reduced by 2030. ADRC is healthy a nonlinear control method which has a strong robust performance against to outer disturbance and parametric discrepancies of system. The ADRC comprises of tracking differentiator (TD), extended State observer (ESO) and feedback control system (FCS). Firstly, a DC motor is sculpted by using actual data in this study. Secondly, controllers are designed and tested for speed control of DC motor. The dynamics of the ADRC based speed control of DC motor is compared with classical proportional-integral (PI), proportional-integral- derivative (PID), LAG compensator, LEAD compensator and fuzzy-logic (FLC) controllers. Relating of the step speed response with ADRC technique, simulation results validate that the proposed control method has excellent dynamic performance and heavy-duty robustness in the existence of model uncertainty as well as external disturbances. Legacy IEEE 802.11 standard developed for sparse networks with short coverage range which is not suitable for IoT. To address this issue, the IEEE TGah has developed IEEE 802.11ah standard to support dense networks by introducing restricted access window (RAW) mechanism. The grouping strategy and RAW parameters of RAW mechanism have not been yet fully addressed in IEEE 802.11ah standard and are still an open issue. However, most existing grouping algorithms focus on either even distribution of stations (STAs) or maximization of channel utilization to achieve fairness among RAW groups assuming that the network is saturated which is more impractical. Fair resource allocation depends on traffic demand when the network is non-saturated. Therefore, we propose a grouping algorithm that considers the non-saturation condition of STAs to enhance fairness. Moreover, we design a mathematical model to analyze the performance of RAW mechanism for STAs with heterogeneous traffic demands. We evaluate the proposed grouping algorithm via analytical model which has been solved by Maple. Motivated by this, an improved control methodology has been developed for LFC in this paper. Notably, this article is comprised of two types of steam turbines which are considered for building this model namely Reheat and Non-Reheat steam turbines where Reheat turbine is utilized in a Single-Area power system, and both Reheat and Non-Reheat turbines are used in the Two-Area power system. Moreover, PID, ANN and Fuzzy compensatory techniques are being proposed and successfully simulated for the single-area power system where the ANN controller resulted in a faster response and better control quality than the PID & Fuzzy-Logic controller. This annoying insect acts as a vector that transmits pathogens by feeding on our blood, spreading critical diseases like Zika Virus, Malaria, dengue fever, Chikungunya, etc. It's important to stop these dipterous insects from harming humans and need a method to identify the vector species. For many years, image-based automated identification of vector mosquitoes has been studied for applications such as early identification of mosquito-borne diseases. Here Deep Convolutional Neural Networks (DCNNs) are modern-day techniques for extracting visible functions and classifying objects and, there exists an excellent application for the classification of images. In this study, we analyzed the functionality of deep learning models in classifying mosquito species having excessive inter-species similarity and intra-species variations. We constructed a data set with approximately 3600 images of eight mosquito species with diverse postures and deformation conditions. Our result demonstrated that more than 98 % classification accuracy has been achieved by using our proposed ensemble method on this data. We also showed the comparison of various DCNNs models such as VGG-16, Inception V3, and MobileNetV2.
