The measured signal will be submerged by noise in complex environment, which makes it difficult to characterize targets, especially when the targets share the similar characteristics. Multi-sensor information fusion will improve characterization significantly and DS evidence theory is an effective approach in heterogeneous information fusion. However, evidence from multi-sensor information is always affected by subjective factors in the process of evidence fusion. In this paper, a new evidence fusion approach for improving characterization under complex environment is proposed. To characterize the heterogeneous images better, a concept of comprehensive credibility is introduced into the proposed approach and a new update rule of evidence is designed. Physiological signals and parameters are acquired by BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) sensor nodes and transferred to the platform via a BLE dongle connected through RS-232 interface. A UWT (Undecimated Wavelet Transform) core is implemented in the built-in FPGA chip to accelerate signal analysis. Xiao","doi":"10.1109/IWECA.2014.6845777","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.1109/IWECA.2014.6845777","url":null,"abstract":"Signal transducers and activators of transcription 5 (STAT5) has been shown to be involved in a variety of cellular processes, including survival, proliferation, invasion, angiogenesis and immune evasion and is frequently overexpressed in human solid tumors and blood malignancies. STAT5 is composed of two highly homologous isoforms, STAT5a and STAT5b, that are encoded by two separate genes with 96% similarity in their amino acid sequences. However, studies have revealed that STAT5a and STAT5b play different roles in the progression of various types of cancer cells. We choose STAT5a as our target gene to silence. In our study, we constructed STAT5a-specific siRNA successful ly. It showed in the experiment that STAT5a-specific siRNA could actively inhibit STAT5a expression in mRNA level in MGC803 gastric cancer cel1 line, and decrease STAT5a protein expression. {"title":"An easily implementable structure for broadband high efficiency Class-J power amplifier","authors":"Zhenyang Wang, Guang Yang, Falin Liu","doi":"10.1109/IWECA.2014.6845740","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.1109/IWECA.2014.6845740","url":null,"abstract":"This paper presents a new and easily implementable structure in the design of Class-J power amplifiers (PA) for obtaining high efficiency in wide band, based on the closed form equations for the needed impedances, on a large-signal transistor model to estimate the device's output parasitic elements and on the idea of design space. The new structure can be realized with only three sections of microstrip lines to match the fundamental and the second harmonic impedances, simultaneously. The designed amplifier using the proposed structure shows a broadband performance of greater than 60% PAE, the gain of more than 10dB and almost 40dBm output power with a 0.5-0.9GHz (57%) bandwidth. The system is wished to output qualified electric energy for those three-phase devices. The paper analyzed the wind turbine output characteristic and gained the relationships between output power and rotating angular velocity of the wind turbine. It searched for the optimal value of the rotating angular velocity, and tracked the maximum wind power with a method called changing step-size disturbance observation. The system could output the maximum electric power when the wind speed changed continuously, and it applied a low-pass filter behind the inverter to filter the harmonic generated when tracking the maximum wind power. Traditional image fusion algorithm has large amount of calculation and poor real-time performance, and does not carefully consider the influence of fusion rules of low-frequency component and the neighborhood characteristics of high-frequency component on the fusion at the same time, so it cannot get the ideal fusion effect. In order to solve the above problems, this paper proposed the nonlinear weighted multiband fusion algorithm which introduced the nonlinear weighted value. The simulation result shows that the calculated amount of the improved image fusion algorithm is significantly reduced, and the real-time performance is also increased significantly. If generation is smaller than load, system frequency will drop. When generation deficiency is too large, system frequency will decrease significantly which can lead to system blackout. To solve this frequency issue, proper underfrequency load shedding and islanding scheme is essential to prevent further deviation of system frequency from its nominal frequency. In this research, conventional underfrequency load shedding and islanding scheme using generator coherency approach are designed for Southern Sulawesi system, one of power system in Sulawesi, Indonesia. Southern Sulawesi system is not too large with peak load of about 800-1000 MW therefore easier to analyze performance of the method used in this research. The simulations were performed using DIgSILENT PowerFactory. It is in urgent need to do the study on the unknown protocol stack. This paper proposed a new method to delimit frames in the bit stream which generated by signal process. By fully exploiting the characteristics of the wireless protocol data, two levels of frequent items mining are employed and a comprehensive index is applied to recognize the preamble.
