This research employs a qualitative research method, which is a method used to study natural conditions where the researcher acts as the key instrument. The data generated is descriptive in nature, and data analysis is conducted inductively. The data obtained in this study utilize data collection techniques such as in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The effectiveness of the early childhood education operational assistance fund implemented by the Department of Education and Culture in Tana Tidung Regency analyzed through three factors (Goal Attainment, Integration, and Adaptation), is generally underway, but not fully effective. This can be evidenced in terms of goal achievement, where fund distribution is on target and timely, and in terms of procedures and benefits, where it effectively alleviates the burden of education expenses. Concerning the factor of integration, which involves processes of socialization, clarity of information, synchronization of activities, transparency, and accountability in the utilization of the School Operational Assistance fund, there are still weaknesses in terms of synchronization between schools and the department regarding the importance of openness and transparency in school financial management. Regarding the adaptability factor, analyzed through the ability to respond to changes, the availability of infrastructure and the utilization of technology in the School Operational Assistance fund is not yet fully effective. This can be observed in terms of human resources' proficiency in information technology and the inadequacy of infrastructure.","PeriodicalId":38172,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Social Research and Policy","volume":"412 ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"72540154","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study focuses on Sampiran Village, Talun Subdistrict, within the Cirebon District, aiming to investigate the correlation between exclusive breastfeeding and stunting in toddlers. Employing a cross-sectional study design with purposive sampling, data collection included questionnaires and anthropometric measurements provided by parents of the participating toddlers. Results revealed that 63.2% of toddlers did not receive exclusive breastfeeding, and 21% of them experienced stunting. Statistical analysis demonstrated a significant relationship between exclusive breastfeeding and stunting occurrence (p < 0.05), with an Odds Ratio of 1.133. This suggests that exclusive breastfeeding can reduce the risk of stunting by 1.133 times, emphasizing its crucial role in stunting prevention among toddlers. These findings underscore the urgency of promoting and educating parents and caregivers about the benefits of exclusive breastfeeding. Encouraging exclusive breastfeeding practices can potentially mitigate the prevalence of stunting in this vulnerable age group within the Cirebon District, ultimately contributing to better child health and well-being.","PeriodicalId":38172,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Social Research and Policy","volume":"58 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"89327633","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The number of farmer households is decreasing, and the average age of farmers is increasing. The agricultural industry is no longer appealing to the younger generation due to a variety of issues experienced by Indonesian farmers. The majority of Indonesian farmers are small-scale, with little land and production. Farmers also face obstacles such as not having sufficient skills in agricultural business which results in low productivity and no added value to their production. This condition also causes them to have to deal with volatile prices from middlemen which are often not profitable for farmers. The Collective Marketing initiative was created to help agricultural enterprises become more lucrative by increasing the size of farmers' economies of scale, allowing them to enter a secure market with enough bargaining power. This study examines the economic and social impacts of Collective Marketing initiatives in Kopwan Srikandi, as well as in Koperasi Tani Kopi Prima Jaya and KTH Cibulao Hijau. BTS as a signal receiver and transmitter, its existence must be known to a user, such as maintenance staff and BTS tower operation staff to deal with existing problems. So a special system is needed for users to use in determining the closest path between the user and the location of the BTS tower. The purpose of this study is to make it easier for the user to determine the shortest path to the intended BTS tower location and to analyze the Dijkstra algorithm and the A* algorithm in determining the shortest route between the user's location and the location of the Telkomsel BTS tower in Semarang, Central Java. The results obtained from the 82 test data tested with the information system created show that Dijkstra's algorithm is more efficient than the A* algorithm. Validation is carried out by calculating with the system between the user's location and 82 test data or the location of BTS towers in the city of Semarang. The results of the validation carried out explained that the system was running according to the functions made and the results of the calculations carried out by the system were appropriate.","PeriodicalId":38172,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Social Research and Policy","volume":"58 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"82373679","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, this transformation hasn't been fully paralleled in the development of the country's legal culture, which lags behind in comparison. This shift in legal culture can be attributed to a blend of internal and external factors. Internally, the moral fabric of the nation plays a pivotal role in shaping the legal culture. Externally, technological advancements and the influx of foreign ideas and cultures contribute significantly. These external influences are often rooted in globalization, which exposes the nation to diverse legal frameworks and ideologies. The state of the legal culture holds substantial sway over the nation's development, and its deficiency can lead to legal chaos. Legal culture isn't just a passive component; it actively participates in the formulation of laws and their subsequent enforcement. In essence, the collapse or inadequacy of the legal culture can exert detrimental effects on the progress of the legal system and, by extension, national development. Thus, fostering a robust and adaptable legal culture is imperative to navigate the complexities of modern society and ensure coherent legal development.","PeriodicalId":38172,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Social Research and Policy","volume":"110 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-08-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"79219618","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
