In Indonesia, this arrangement is often driven by import and export restrictions imposed on international entities. Due to these restrictions, foreign entities, referred to as principals, must engage agents or representatives to facilitate the sale of their products within Indonesia. This agency relationship is predominantly built upon a contractual agreement. In this agreement, the agent commits to representing the principal's interests, including legal representation if necessary. Conversely, the principal consents to the agent's representation on their behalf, particularly in legal matters. To gather insights into this dynamic, a Conceptual Approach method is employed to collect data. It emphasizes the significance of legal certainty within the framework of formal agreements. In Indonesia, contract law protection is founded upon this concept, ensuring that agreements are upheld. In the event of disputes arising from agency agreements, resolution processes typically defer to the terms stipulated in the initial agreement, emphasizing the importance of a well-defined and legally sound contract.","PeriodicalId":38172,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Social Research and Policy","volume":"63 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"82353927","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

One of them is the clothing industry which is a global industry that provides basic human needs and is one of the industrial sectors that has an impact on the environment and society. To address the risk and opportunity issues of sustainability from an industry and value chain perspective, apply the concept of sustainable supply chain management (SSCM). This study aims to design an instrument in the form of a minimum standard to measure supplier performance and analyze it. Using a qualitative analysis method resulting from due diligence on suppliers with a total of 77 question points consisting of 23 questions on the environmental dimension, 23 questions on the social dimension related to employment, and 26 questions related to governance. The results show that 3 suppliers are at the High-performance level, 4 companies are in the Medium-performance category, 5 are companies with low performance and 1 company is in the very low category. By categorizing the highest total gain of ESG, namely 100%, and the lowest score of 34.62%. This value indicates the level of compliance with the minimum standards set. Recommendations for Further Research An even number of due diligence is carried out for categories in the fashion industry (clothing, hats, bags, footwear). The aspects and weights of each of these sustainability aspects can be re-analyzed if used for other types of industries outside the fashion industry.","PeriodicalId":38172,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Social Research and Policy","volume":"58 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"88624022","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The highest increase was observed in 2015, reaching an impressive 99.20%. Given this fluctuation, it becomes imperative to conduct research focusing on the adjustment speed of the capital structure in telecommunications companies during the period from 2013 to 2018. The research findings indicate varying rates of adjustment in capital structure, particularly in terms of Debt Equity Ratio (DER). The fastest adjustment was seen in XL Axiata at -19.14% and Indosat at -1.62%, while Telkom Indonesia exhibited a slower adjustment rate at 36.72%, and Smartfren Telecom had the slowest adjustment at 51.96%. Similarly, when considering the Debt Asset Ratio (DAR), XL Axiata displayed the swiftest adjustment at -17.63%, followed by Telkom Indonesia at -9.05%, and Indosat at -3.11%. In contrast, Smartfren Telecom had the most gradual adjustment, with a notable value of 71.70%. These findings underscore the dynamic nature of capital structure in the Indonesian telecommunications sector during the specified period. The varying speeds of adjustment in debt ratios reflect the strategic financial decisions made by these companies in response to market conditions and internal factors. Further analysis is essential to comprehend the factors influencing these diverse adjustment rates and their implications for the industry's financial stability.","PeriodicalId":38172,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Social Research and Policy","volume":"46 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135048075","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
