A chillers operation energy efficiency model and its method for a real chiller plant were proposed in this paper, whose parameters were optimized by GA optimization algorithm. Moreover, as R_RMSE (Relative Root Mean Square Error) was adopted as the evaluation of the prediction accuracy, the results showed that the prediction accuracy of SVR model based on GA optimization algorithm was better than other models, which average R_RMSE was 4.52%. The method proposed in this paper can predict the operation energy efficiency of the chiller accurately to provide basic for chiller energy efficiency analysis, fault detection and diagnosis, and optimizing control.","PeriodicalId":380818,"journal":{"name":"The 26th Chinese Control and Decision Conference (2014 CCDC)","volume":"160 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-07-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115493259","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, it has an instinct shortcoming as that the solution is lack of spareness. In this paper, a particle swarm optimization (PSO) based optimal spareness approach for LSSVM is proposed and validated. The spareness of LSSVM is firstly formulated as an optimization problem, where pruning percentage of the training data set is taken as the optimization variable. And then, PSO is employed to solve the spareness problem. A LSSVM model for carbon content in fly ash of utility boiler is used for algorithm validation. Long term operation data of a 600MW boiler is collected for comparison studies. The presented results convince that the PSO based optimal spareness approach exceeds the classical method, and is capable of converging to an optimal support vector set.","PeriodicalId":380818,"journal":{"name":"The 26th Chinese Control and Decision Conference (2014 CCDC)","volume":"30 3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-07-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115992983","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Based on k-median facility location model, a 0-1 integer programming mathematical presentation of the problem, with objective of minimizing heterogeneity, is given. The proposed model is compared with other three ones in terms of model complexity and time consuming. The other three models have the characteristics of ensuring not only the first-order contiguity. It is concluded from the comparison that if zone number is smaller than certain value, the proposed model terminated without a feasible solution. Otherwise, the proposed model could obtain a satisfied solution within a reasonable time. An agglomerative hierarchical clustering based heuristic algorithm then is developed to deal with the non-solution situation. Finally, a case study shows the advantage of the proposed model for solving large scale problem.","PeriodicalId":380818,"journal":{"name":"The 26th Chinese Control and Decision Conference (2014 CCDC)","volume":"60 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-07-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116580859","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Because the sonic speed will be changed along with different materials, it is very difficult to be accurately measured. This paper makes use of a method which can realize sound source localization without the measurement of sonic speed. Four AE sensors are arrayed according to the square shape, and the time difference between different sensors is calculated by the cross-correlation analysis method. Based on the SAEU2S type four channel AE instrument, experiments on a steel plate are carried out, in which we use the breaking of a pencil to imitate AE source. Experiments show that this method has high location precision.","PeriodicalId":380818,"journal":{"name":"The 26th Chinese Control and Decision Conference (2014 CCDC)","volume":"87 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-07-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122839226","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The NSCT is applied in fusion processing because of its good properties which include multi-scale, time-frequency localization, shift invariance, and multiple directions discrimination, in order to obtaining exact position and clear image presentation of fused image. The Lαβ color space is applied to color transferring because of its no correlation. The oversaturated color of the fused image is overcome by adjusting the dynamic range of luminance component of Lαβ space. And the color of the fused image is more uniform, more natural.
