Due to its expanding importance and widespread use, there is a need for thorough comprehension and ongoing research. This study delves further into NLP’s complexities than it does on the surface. By exploring if common themes, like discussing the weather or analyzing peas, can provide a universal grammar rule that can produce all English sentences, we hope to grasp the basic structure of language. By doing this, we hope to ease the challenging process of teaching computers to comprehend and produce human language. This study addresses the dynamic world of deep learning (DL) models in NLP in addition to language structure. It provides a thorough evaluation of the numerous models and approaches used in various NLP applications. Understanding the advantages and disadvantages of various strategies is crucial for helping academics and practitioners select the models that are best suited for particular NLP tasks. This work also acts as a knowledge bridge by bridging the gap between DL and NLP. It describes how DL approaches have transformed NLP, 104providing improved functionality for jobs like text analysis, translation, and chatbots. We clarify the profound influence of DL on the development of NLP, opening it up to a larger audience. This work greatly contributes to the ongoing discussion on the development of language processing technology by offering insights into language structure and undertaking a comparative examination of DL models in NLP. For researchers, programmers, and companies wishing to use NLP and DL in their applications, it provides useful information.","PeriodicalId":38063,"journal":{"name":"Dental Press Endodontics","volume":"1 1","pages":"103-131"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2026-04-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"147889166","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Due to the apparent universal and unconscious effect of rhythmic entrainment, music has been shown to exert an influence which can lead to a range of benefits in terms of physical and attentional processes. There is also the potential for negative impacts on the player experience, should the seemingly ubiquitous process of rhythmic entrainment be inhibited or prevented due to conflicts between the rhythms of the level design and that of the accompanying music. The research discussed within this chapter adopts a multi-disciplinary approach; firstly through the utilisation of pre-existing game footage and a process of coding to infer the player’s actions and intentions, and secondly by borrowing an experimental methodology from the field of rhythm perception and applying it to the analysis of in-game data captured within a custom video game. The aim to determine whether rhythmic entrainment occurs in terms of both the objective behaviour and subjective perception of the video game player. It is the hope that other researchers will find the methodologies described useful in their own work.","PeriodicalId":38063,"journal":{"name":"Dental Press Endodontics","volume":"1 1","pages":"55-76"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2026-02-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"147920752","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Female entrepreneurs significantly contribute to economic growth, innovation, and societal advancement. However, they face persistent challenges that hinder their full potential. Gender equality serves as a cornerstone for the success of women entrepreneurs, reducing barriers, fostering empowerment, and driving inclusive growth and innovation. Despite progress, enduring issues like gender discrimination and bias undermine women’s credibility and restrict access to resources and opportunities. Financial constraints, compounded by limited access to funding and investment, further impede the growth of women-owned businesses. The dual responsibilities of family and busi-ness often create emotional and mental strain, highlighting the need for flexible work arrangements and support systems. Networking limitations, perpetuated by the “Old Boys’ Club” culture, and the scarcity of female mentors and role models exacerbate these challenges. Overcoming these obstacles requires collective efforts through awareness campaigns, policy 70reforms, and advocacy for inclusivity. Initiatives focused on mentorship, networking, and equitable financial practices can empower women entrepreneurs to succeed. Achieving gender equality and fostering female entrepreneurship are essential for economic development, innovation, and sustainability, paving the way for a more equitable and prosperous future.","PeriodicalId":38063,"journal":{"name":"Dental Press Endodontics","volume":"1 1","pages":"69-86"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2025-11-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"147896051","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The evolution of algorithmic and AI technologies in financial markets has unfolded through a series of distinct epochs, each characterized by incremental advancements in computational methods and trading systems. In the early phase, spanning the 1980s to the 1990s, financial institutions began transitioning from manual trading floors to electronic platforms by implementing rule‐based systems and expert systems. During this period, pre‐programmed rules were employed for trade execution and market analysis. For example, the New York Stock Exchange introduced the Designated Order Turnaround (DOT) system in 1976 and later enhanced this capability with the SuperDOT upgrade in 1984, thereby increasing order size and execution speed. Concurrently, regulatory changes in London, particularly the “Big Bang” deregulation of 1986, prompted the shift from open‐outcry to screen‐based trading. This development accelerated the global adoption of electronic trading platforms and set the stage for the later emergence of sophisticated algorithmic systems. The events of Black Monday in 1987 further underscored both the promise and the perils of automated systems, as program trading based on fixed rules contributed to a cascade of sell orders during a market crash. In addition, early statistical arbitrage strategies that exploited pricing inefficiencies, such as pairs trading, demonstrated the potential of algorithmic models to outperform human judgment, thereby inspiring the creation of quantitative hedge funds. The proliferation of online trading platforms in the early 1990s further diminished reliance on human intermediaries and laid the foundation for increasingly complex automated systems.","PeriodicalId":38063,"journal":{"name":"Dental Press Endodontics","volume":"1 1","pages":"98-119"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2025-10-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"147895520","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
