In most cases, SRM is used in saturation mode, since its winding is separate this type of motor has torque ripple. In this paper a new method of minimizing torque ripples is proposed. Asymmetrical half bridge converter (AHB) is used to feed both fuzzy logic and ANN control of a switched reluctance motor. Fixed SRM settings are used to simulate both controllers in MATLAB/ SIMULINK. In comparison to the ANN controller, the fuzzy logic controller drives the switching reluctance motor very well, according to the results.","PeriodicalId":377115,"journal":{"name":"2022 2nd International Conference on Innovative Research in Applied Science, Engineering and Technology (IRASET)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130247080","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Those application are deployed in numerous real-world sites, like facial recognition systems, Law enforcement applications or security purposes. For these reasons, we propose to improve available facial attributes' estimation in the main model, by adding other attributes, such as (medical-mask or face cover, head scarf, tattoo) and using transfer learning (TL). To do this end, using TL one stage, we suggest retraining the main model on new attributes all at once, and using TL multistage training, where we employ a TL network for each attribute. The main model is trained on the CelebA dataset with 40 attributes using a CNN model, while for the aforementioned three attributes, we use our constructed dataset. The obtained results show that the second method outruns the first in terms of metrics, but the first one is better in prediction rates, especially for the attributes of the main model, this is a problem caused by many TL networks losing data.","PeriodicalId":377115,"journal":{"name":"2022 2nd International Conference on Innovative Research in Applied Science, Engineering and Technology (IRASET)","volume":"32 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131112444","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In a country that is an archipelago, it is hard to electrify the whole country through a single Grid. Due to this setup, there are certain parts of the Philippines that are connected to the main grid while other areas are known as Off-grid areas. One of the best examples of an Off-grid area is Romblon Island. Embedded Generation serves as the source of power requirement in its power distribution system. Considering that this is the set-up, distribution of power must be taken into consideration to electrify the whole island. The goal is to develop a Graphical User Interface (GUI) for an off-grid distribution system that will analyze and qualify the primary results of Synergi Electric complemented by QGIS in terms of voltage, current, and power factor to the Philippine Standards","PeriodicalId":377115,"journal":{"name":"2022 2nd International Conference on Innovative Research in Applied Science, Engineering and Technology (IRASET)","volume":"115 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116032184","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The goal of automatic text classification is to automatically predict textual articles classes, especially in the medical domain. However, for some applications, the used data must inherently be described by more than one label. In this research, a new scheme of medical multi-label text classification is investigated which is based on intelligent engineering features using GloVe technique and LSTM classifier. The main particularity of GloVe permits the extraction of informative features to the word level automatically and capture the global and local textual semantics. The choice of the LSTM model is motivated by the success that has been achieved by taking into account the very long-term dependencies between words. The experiment of our approach named GL-LSTM based on Ohsumed cardiovascular text dataset has produced impressive results with an overall accuracy of 0.927 compared with related works existing in the literature","PeriodicalId":377115,"journal":{"name":"2022 2nd International Conference on Innovative Research in Applied Science, Engineering and Technology (IRASET)","volume":" 39","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"120831253","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is an empirical illustration, in which, we try to highlight the financial inclusion of households and to know if Morocco is an under-banked country through a detailed tracing of the profile of household credit applicants. To achieve this goal, we will adopt the deductive approach. This method consists in constructing from the existing theoretical and empirical answers on the phenomena and confronting them with the reality of the field by using an empirical investigation. Drawing on the previous studies conducted on the same issue, in particular, the work of Honohan, P., and King, M. (2009), Clamara, N. et al. (2014), Tuesta D. et al. (2015) or Demirguç- Kunt et al. (2018), we will assume that the decision to take credit is strongly related to the observable characteristics of the individual. Thus, the results of our study corroborate those obtained from previous empirical work. Indeed, we find from the adopted model that financial inclusion in Morocco, as the case in emerging economies, remains highly correlated with the income (approached by the social class variable) and the educational level of the individual and less related to gender and age. In this respect, the more the person's level increases the more the probability of being included financially increases, but not necessarily with the same proportion. However, despite the efforts made to reduce the causes of financial exclusion, access to finance remains the major challenge of economic agents. This limit of access could be explained, on the one hand, due to the lack of guarantees, which do not allow indigent people to subscribe a credit with the banking institutions, and on the other hand, among these, some refuse to resort to this mode of financing since they do not coincide with their ethical convictions.","PeriodicalId":377115,"journal":{"name":"2022 2nd International Conference on Innovative Research in Applied Science, Engineering and Technology (IRASET)","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121171656","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The data a contract generates could represent a competitive advantage. This study's focus was to develop a template of the factors associated with smart contracts data breaches. This model was based on the following variables: smart contracts, exposure level, security level, and structural inputs. The outcome variable was the binary value for a data breach/no data breach. This study covers more than 6000 smart contracts, operating on Etheurm and imported as tables into the study database, the contracts have been selected randomly from the databases of various safety tools such as OYENTE, MAIAN, GASPER, Securify, Solcove, and SmartCheck, These tools are designed to find code vulnerabilities in the smart contracts. 50% of all samples were selected from one source (Securify). Binary logistic regression was employed to examine the data breach model. The findings demonstrate more than 500 cases of actual breaches, with several factors being significantly associated with smart contract data breaches.","PeriodicalId":377115,"journal":{"name":"2022 2nd International Conference on Innovative Research in Applied Science, Engineering and Technology (IRASET)","volume":"84 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125433901","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Uncertainty over arrival and departure dates makes scheduling plug-in hybrid electric cars difficult, particularly in regulated (non-liberal) electricity markets. Monitoring the arrival and departure periods of electric vehicles (EVs) in general has become one of the most essential parts in green and intelligent micro-systems; hence, anticipating the arrival and departure times of PEVs may assist manage the grid effectively. The purpose of this paper is to predict the arrival and departure times of electric vehicles in public charging station in to better distribute electric power on the grid as well as assess the expected impact of additional EVs on the grid, considering specific characteristics of the Moroccan power system. Consequently, three deep learning methods are applied in this research and the approach is validated using a dataset consisting of 1793 charging events collected from public charging stations in Morocco. Obtained results will serve as a decision-making tool for electricity regulatory authorities (ONEE) and public utility companies in the selection and implementation of efficient smart charging strategies, including the potential for electric vehicles (EVs) to use renewable energy more efficiently, lowering costs while improving the Moroccan electricity grid's stability.","PeriodicalId":377115,"journal":{"name":"2022 2nd International Conference on Innovative Research in Applied Science, Engineering and Technology (IRASET)","volume":"25 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129026557","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

They regularly share their daily activities, experiences, and exchange interests and opinions on social media sites, leading to a flood of information that can be used by consumers. However, the reduced posting barriers, no operational costs and easy-to-use interactive interfaces have combined to create a variety of data quality issues in social media, making it difficult to obtain relevant, timely and accurate data. Given the increasing use of social media by users to obtain news and information first hand, they are required to filter a significant volume of data to reach the most satisfying to their request, therefore we can say that the process is more qualitative than quantitative. This paper proposes a new classification of data quality dimensions towards a social media data quality model called SMDQM(Social Media Data Quality Model), for this the quality of social media data is discussed, then we present the steps involved to create our model SMDQM. This attempt will be established by considering and discussing a state of the art in the field of social media and data quality.","PeriodicalId":377115,"journal":{"name":"2022 2nd International Conference on Innovative Research in Applied Science, Engineering and Technology (IRASET)","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116920955","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
