Analytical results for the signal-to-noise ratio for photon counting regime depending on signal registration time intervals are obtained. Expressions describing strong influence of inertia of the photon counting system over dependencies of characteristics of the system from the link range were taken out. Numerical examples, illustrated by graphic material, have been shown.","PeriodicalId":374877,"journal":{"name":"2018 IEEE XXVII International Scientific Conference Electronics - ET","volume":"32 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125271386","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This technical solution enables the removal of the additional contactless module for the transmission of information and control signals and respectively, for improvement of the operational and technical characteristics of the contactless transmitters. This paper examines inductive methods that integrate bidirectional data transmission in the power module system for energy transfer. Various methods for the simultaneous transmission of energy and data are analyzed. Main attention is paid to the frequency multiplexing method, with its advantages over other methods.","PeriodicalId":374877,"journal":{"name":"2018 IEEE XXVII International Scientific Conference Electronics - ET","volume":"44 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115670135","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The formulas for the average $I_{av}$ and the effective $I_{RMS}$ values of the current and the average power $P_{av}$ as functions of the firing angle $alpha $ and a frequency $f$ have been worked out. Criterion for determining the maximum admissible firing angle $alpha $ of the thyristors in case of different frequencies has been suggested. The paper finishes with conclusion remarks for the AC supply voltage stabilization in phase control of the average value of the AC current flowing through a load.","PeriodicalId":374877,"journal":{"name":"2018 IEEE XXVII International Scientific Conference Electronics - ET","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114695643","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For the purpose of the experiment a power diode in SMC package is used as heat source and copper pads are placed on the second conductive layer in order to extract the heat. The thermoal vias, connecting the top solder pads and the copper pads, are designed with a different diameter and the structures are electrically charged. The goal is to investigate the change in the diode temperature when applying a different power supply. This article illustrates the heat dissipation dependence on the diameter and thickness of the thermal-vias.
