The error due to the timing parameter is also one of the factors that hinder stability. In this paper, we model the I2C slave using Verilog and then perform a simple read/write operation to investigate timing parameter errors. As a solution, we present a timing parameter error detection module for the I2C protocol. The proposed module is developed based on the I2C standard mode to verify the behavior of I2C by identifying timing errors.","PeriodicalId":373752,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Electronics, Information, and Communication (ICEIC)","volume":"36 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125901969","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is one of the most vital languages worldwide. Sign languages, like spoken languages, are sophisticated, naturally formed structures that are arranged around a set of conversational activities. In the Philippines, practicing Filipino Sign Language (FSL) already had improved communication for deaf people. However, the community’s main difficulty is that most Filipinos do not comprehend or use FSL. Within the deaf community, these gestures, whether ASL or FSL, are still limited. People who are normal and hearing would never attempt to learn sign language. This results in a significant communication gap between the deaf and the hearing. Human translators are needed in order for deaf people to be understood. While they can be helpful, they are not always available or attainable. Filipino Sign Language Alphabet Recognition using Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) is proposed to address this growing challenge. The proposed solution can recognize and forecast a letter using an image training model. The model peaked at the 15th epoch, with an accuracy rate of 92% and validation accuracy of 93%. The study aims to bridge the gaps between the deaf community with the hearing in the Philippines.","PeriodicalId":373752,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Electronics, Information, and Communication (ICEIC)","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125435406","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The proposed offset cancellation current DAC is implemented to cancel the input DC current to improve the effective dynamic range (DR). The current DAC is designed to have low-noise and area-efficient characteristics by applying the dynamic element matching technique and reducing the number of idle current mirror transistors. It can generate a current of up to 256 μA. Due to the offset cancellation of the current DAC, the proposed pulse oximeter has a signal-to-noise ratio of 77.4 dB and an effective DR of 133.3 dB. The pulse oximeter front-end is designed in 0.13 μm CMOS and consumes 307.1 μW from a 1.65 V supply. To aid with this issue, this study aims to provide a solution to filter rust from the water so they can have clean water for non-drinking purposes. Specifically, an Internet of Things (IoT)-enabled device that serves as an automated floating water filter using hollow fibers as the filtration system is proposed. The proposed system shall serve as a means to notify users of water quality for possible preventive measures and maintenance work. This device will ease the trouble of unwanted particles and provide ease to residents using the manual pumping well.","PeriodicalId":373752,"journal":{"name":"2023 International Conference on Electronics, Information, and Communication (ICEIC)","volume":"70 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121382085","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For small-datasets, the number of images per class is usually unbalanced and overfitting occurs when training small-datasets. In this paper, data augmentation skills using generative adversarial network for image super-resolution tasks is presented. Data augmentation with generative adversarial network for image super-resolution tasks retains the overall shape and form, but changes only the details of features. The proposed method achieves better performance when training CIFAR-100 and CUB-200-2011 datasets from scratch.
