This project attempts to make innovations on the basis of ordinary immersive experience projects to enhance the real-time interaction of experience. Therefore, this project uses virtual reality technology to build a 3D real-time interactive virtual botanical garden system based on virtual engine 4. Based on the theory of virtual reality compensation, the system has realized the integration of the real world and the digital world. On the basis of realizing the immersive tour in the botanical Garden, the project used UE4's Blueprint visual programming to realize the digital experience of dialogue and answering questions, virtual planting, teleportation and so on. At the same time, compared with traditional roaming projects, this system paid more attention to the presentation of themes, and revealed the theme of caring for plants and protecting the environment through Sequence animation. After the test, the scene roaming and various interactive functions in the system are normal, and finally packaged and released.","PeriodicalId":37324,"journal":{"name":"International Journal on E-Learning: Corporate, Government, Healthcare, and Higher Education","volume":"66 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"89280404","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Taking an experimental approach, participants were exposed to one of four vignettes designed to simulate either the absence or the presence of warm-glow (specifically, extrinsic warm-glow, intrinsic warm-glow, and concurrently extrinsic and intrinsic warm-glow). The results revealed that both constructs measured their respective forms of warm-glow with two caveats. Firstly, singularly trying to evoke extrinsic warm-glow led to only a slight increase in consumer perception of extrinsic warm-glow. We attributed this finding to individuals not being attracted to technology products that overtly target and seek to satisfy their vanity, instead preferring technology that does so in a more subtle way. The second is that singularly trying to evoke intrinsic warm-glow also resulted in the manifestation of extrinsic warm-glow. Thus, warm-glow appears as a blend of extrinsic and intrinsic dimensions. This finding serves to reinforce what has already been reported in existing literature regarding warm-glow and the idea of impure altruism.","PeriodicalId":37324,"journal":{"name":"International Journal on E-Learning: Corporate, Government, Healthcare, and Higher Education","volume":"278 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"77846699","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this study, an online questionnaire was developed and validated to assess students’ mobile learning perception, engagement, and metacognitive skills. A quantitative study was conducted on 607 high school students. The validity and reliability of the developed instrument were tested using exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and reliability analysis. The items developed for the initial instrument were divided into three constructs: perception, engagement, and metacognitive skills. Findings revealed from EFA using Principal Component analysis that the instrument yields 38 items, with three factors accounting for 57.78% of the total variance. The analysis results confirmed the three components of the instrument: the students’ perception, engagement, and metacognitive skills. The instrument also had Cronbach’s alpha of 0.86-0.94, indicating that the instrument was reliable. Further, Multivariate analysis of variance showed significant differences in age, grade level, mode of learning, and type of users in terms of perception, engagement, and metacognitive skills. A significant relationship was also found between the three constructs. These findings indicate that the developed questionnaire is valid and capable of appropriately assessing students’ perceptions, engagement, and metacognitive skills on mobile learning. It also offers valuable insights that can be utilized as a basis for the design and development of mobile learning.","PeriodicalId":37324,"journal":{"name":"International Journal on E-Learning: Corporate, Government, Healthcare, and Higher Education","volume":"29 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"73099299","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, the traditional Monte-Carlo simulation allocated assets by historical data and could not react to short-term market volatility. Since introduced in 1976, The Auto-Regressive Integrated Moving Average model or ARIMA model of time-series analysis showed its ability to provide forecast to time series, including the stock price. Therefore, in this paper, ARIMA and Monte-Carlo simulation was combined. By applying the Monte-Carlo simulation to stock price prediction provided by ARIMA model time series analysis, a more flexible weekly trading strategy was created. ARIMA model predicted stock prices for five selected popular tech stocks, AAPL, AMZN, TSLA, TWTR and MSFT in 5 days for the first trading week of Sept of 2021 and allocated the asset combination by Monte Carlo Simulation. The combination was compared to the allocation provided by the traditional Monte Carlo simulation. The model was proven to be profitable and has higher profitability and accuracy than using Monte Carlo simulation alone.","PeriodicalId":37324,"journal":{"name":"International Journal on E-Learning: Corporate, Government, Healthcare, and Higher Education","volume":"PP 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"84275784","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
