In this paper, a selection of algorithms, using standardized parameters frequently found in literature, is applied to a multitude of TSPs with differing complexities and sizes, and subsequently benchmarked on solution quality and convergence. We consider the quality of the implemented algorithms using standardized and not a specifically optimized parameter choices according to a certain problem.","PeriodicalId":37324,"journal":{"name":"International Journal on E-Learning: Corporate, Government, Healthcare, and Higher Education","volume":"22 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"72898181","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To achieve this, an effective means for creating, storing, and retrieving learning resources within an enterprise is acknowledged as most critical. Multitenant learning management platforms of today must address the challenges that arise in large learning organizations due to factors like diversity of content and content providers, a multitude of modes and mediums of learning, cultural legacy, information security and sensitivity, as well as ownership and licensing considerations. In such a context, this work highlights the need for an extended standard for multilingual metadata interoperability among learning contents and processes across content providers. In the absence of such a standard, it also proposes an approach for the multitenant learning management platforms to address some of the challenges through a combination of multilingual search index design and on-the-fly metadata transformation layers.","PeriodicalId":37324,"journal":{"name":"International Journal on E-Learning: Corporate, Government, Healthcare, and Higher Education","volume":"24 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"90911612","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The current study examines the impact of grading rubric design on grading outcomes with two empirical studies, a Monte Carlo simulation study followed by a quasi-experimental study, which is based on a large sample of online MBA course data across six terms from Australia. The results suggest that the specification of a grading rubric directly impacts on the distribution of grades which may subsequently reduce grade inflation. Specifically, our study demonstrates the potential benefits for academics and educational deisgners in adopting tools like the Monte Carlo simulation when setting up rubrics. Further, our study also support the notion that grading rubric could be a double-edged sword in that mis-specified grading rubrics could potentially introduced undesired artefacts that directly contributes to grade inflation. Theoretical and practical implications are also discussed in the study.","PeriodicalId":37324,"journal":{"name":"International Journal on E-Learning: Corporate, Government, Healthcare, and Higher Education","volume":"24 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"88230518","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

They can access their content from anywhere, anytime. This research explores the students’ perceptions about learning technologies in a higher educational context. It integrates the Technology Acceptance Model's (TAM) constructs with “perceived enjoyment” to better understand their dispositions to engage with educational apps. The data was gathered through an online survey questionnaire among 317 research participants who were following full time university courses in a Southern European country. The findings suggest that the students were motivated to use learning apps. Their perceived usefulness, ease-of-use and enjoyment were having a significant effect on their intentions to continue using them in the future. This contribution implies that “perceived enjoyment” construct can be combined with TAM to shed more light on the users’ intrinsic motivations to use mobile apps for educational purposes.","PeriodicalId":37324,"journal":{"name":"International Journal on E-Learning: Corporate, Government, Healthcare, and Higher Education","volume":"108 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"82557477","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A model was established based on the data of listed companies in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry from 2010 to 2020, and the heterogeneity of property rights and dynamic panel analysis were conducted to study the relationship between R&D investment, compensation gap and company business performance, taking into account the differences in the nature of property rights and lags of variables. The study found that: firstly, there is an \"inverted U-shaped\" effect of R&D investment on company business performance, which is common in private enterprises but not obvious in state-owned enterprises; secondly, there is a lagged effect of R&D investment, and company business performance in the previous period will have a positive effect on business performance in the current period; thirdly, there is a positive effect of pay gap on company business performance, and there is a positive effect of pay gap on company business performance. Thirdly, there is a positive effect of pay difference on company's operating performance, and the effect of pay difference on operating performance is greater in state-owned enterprises. Finally, the article proposes countermeasures for planning R&D investment, balancing compensation differences and improving operating performance of listed companies in pharmaceutical manufacturing industry in the light of the research findings, and provides an outlook on future research directions in view of the shortcomings in the article.","PeriodicalId":37324,"journal":{"name":"International Journal on E-Learning: Corporate, Government, Healthcare, and Higher Education","volume":"54 12","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"72455013","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Due to the randomness and complexity of PM2.5 concentration time series, this paper uses EEMD to decompose the historical PM2.5 concentration data into EIMF and trend series. Considering air quality factors and meteorological factors, this paper constructs EEMD-Stacking model, and uses Bayesian algorithm to optimize the parameters. The Yangtze River Delta region was selected as the experimental site, and the daily PM2.5 concentration data and meteorological station data from 2018 to 2020 were used for prediction experiments. The results show that the combined model has good prediction effect. The short-term prediction accuracy is relatively high, and the medium and long-term prediction accuracy decreases, but the overall prediction accuracy is high and stable.","PeriodicalId":37324,"journal":{"name":"International Journal on E-Learning: Corporate, Government, Healthcare, and Higher Education","volume":"532 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"78161419","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Carbon sequestration [1] is a solution for mitigating climate change in addition to reducing carbon emissions. However, how to balance ecology and economy is a problem that people face. Therefore, we propose a method for determining forest carbon sequestration capacity and making management recommendations to forest management agencies. First, we designed the Maximum Carbon Sequestration Volume Model (MCSV) model, which can more accurately measure the carbon sequestration capacity of forests. Second, we propose the Forest Management Decision Model (FMD) evaluation model, which uses the Forest Management Index (FMI) to guide the implementation of measures by forest management departments. We comprehensively consider the influence of six indicators in the three factors of environment, economy and policy, and set different thresholds according to the actual development level of the country, and give suggestions suitable for the national conditions. At the end of this paper, the model is applied to forest management in India, and a reasonable and feasible optimal forest management plan is given.","PeriodicalId":37324,"journal":{"name":"International Journal on E-Learning: Corporate, Government, Healthcare, and Higher Education","volume":"3 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"83255491","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
