The blended teaching born in the context of this era brings new opportunities and challenges to the development of teaching and learning in university classrooms. Based on the perspectives of teachers and students, this study constructs a five-factor learning satisfaction influence model of multiple evaluation methods , teaching ability, teaching attitude, metacognitive self-regulation and learning motivation; proposes research hypotheses and uses survey research to investigate and analyze undergraduate students in a blended learning environment to verify the model and hypotheses. The results showed that teachers' multiple evaluation methods and teaching ability had positive effects on undergraduate students' learning satisfaction, and teaching attitude had little effect on learning satisfaction; undergraduate students' metacognitive self-regulation and learning motivation positively predicted learning satisfaction; and the three factors from teachers' perspective had significant effects on undergraduate students' metacognitive self-regulation and learning motivation. Based on this, strategies for enhancing students' learning satisfaction in blended learning are proposed in order to provide reference and support for subsequent related studies.","PeriodicalId":37324,"journal":{"name":"International Journal on E-Learning: Corporate, Government, Healthcare, and Higher Education","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"78625464","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Learning has been esteemed for a long time and is generally conveyed in an up close, personal setting wherein students are in a homeroom. At the same time, the educator instructs and facilitates students in their assessment tasks. Notwithstanding, with the developing innovation and the new flood of the pandemic, classes are told to be conveyed through different modalities such as the synchronous and asynchronous approach in the Web or virtual stages. On that note, this study was conducted first to analyze the preference of users with regards to the aspects of ease of use, well-integrated functions, and non-complex design of each Web conferencing website or application. As such, using the System Usability Scale (SUS), Chi-Square Test, ANOVA, and Pearson Correlations, this study will further analyze the root cause and dynamics of factors that could affect the preferences for using such Web Conferencing Sites. The statistical analysis revealed that the only factor that has a significant relationship to a preference for a website is the platform used; age, gender, device used, and field of study/work all have no significant relationship with either their preference or the given SUS scores.","PeriodicalId":37324,"journal":{"name":"International Journal on E-Learning: Corporate, Government, Healthcare, and Higher Education","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"82104630","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The focus of the study is on the implementation of IDD in Additions and Alternations (A&A) projects, using a case study of the conversion of a retail mall into a leasable office space for banking and medical operations in Singapore. The study examines the perception of IDD by project stakeholders, the benefits of IDD in A&A projects, and the barriers to IDD implementation. Results indicate that IDD implementation in A&A projects leads to improved time, cost, and quality, better design outcomes, and enhanced design coordination. The key obstacles to IDD implementation are the lack of IDD requirements, skilled IDD manpower, IDD-ready solution providers, and higher initial expenditures. This research adds to the existing body of knowledge on IDD in the built environment and highlights the importance of IDD for value creation and paradigm shift in the industry.","PeriodicalId":37324,"journal":{"name":"International Journal on E-Learning: Corporate, Government, Healthcare, and Higher Education","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"83992625","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Nursing students can face and fight for better health by developing emotional intelligence (EI) and self-efficacy (SE). One of the students' hopes for these kinds of unexpected events during the pandemic and now, in the face of new/hybrid learning, is resilience (RS). This study recognized the significant positive relationship between Self-Efficacy (SE) and Resilience (RS); Emotional Intelligence (EI) and Self-Efficacy (SE); Emotional Intelligence (EI) and Resilience (RS); and EI on SE and RS. The 200 respondents were third year to fourth year nursing college students from private and public universities and colleges, and were selected using purposive-random sampling. The data were gathered through online forms and printed standardized survey questionnaires and were analyzed through PLS-SEM. The findings indicate that nursing students in an urbanized province in the Philippines may have high levels of emotional intelligence, which keeps them resilient (β= 0.165, p = 0.008). Also, having a high level of self-efficacy does not always imply that you are resilient, and being resilient does not imply that you are always capable of getting things done with such confidence (β = -0.170, p = 0.006). Finally, the results showed that students have higher Emotional Intelligence, but this does not imply that it helps to increase Resilience or Self-Efficacy (β = 0.013; p = 0.394). Thus, this study may provide new insights into how students fare after completing a two-year online course and transitioning to blended learning, which is what the students are currently undertaking.","PeriodicalId":37324,"journal":{"name":"International Journal on E-Learning: Corporate, Government, Healthcare, and Higher Education","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"87910840","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, through an exhaustive review of the literature and sectoral analysis, we concluded they have a high risk of failure in the short term due to various problems, such as poor inventory management. In Peru, the provisions for carrying out inventories usually have a ratio of between 1% and 1.4% of the total inventory stock; thus, SMEs belonging to the hardware sector more frequently present this problem that affects the profitability of their companies. For this reason, the need arises to design an inventory control model that increases the productivity of hardware SMEs. After the pilot implementation of the first component, an increase in distribution efficiency of 11% is achieved, and its effectiveness is supported by simulating the entire model, obtaining the same results.","PeriodicalId":37324,"journal":{"name":"International Journal on E-Learning: Corporate, Government, Healthcare, and Higher Education","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"86679511","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, few studies have investigated the effects of task-driven instruction on learning outcomes. This study examines the effectiveness of the application of task-driven instruction as a means of verifying that the use of task-driven instruction in online learning is effective by comparing changes in students' grades, intrinsic motivation, perceived social presence, and perceived cognitive load before and after the application of the method. Eighty high school students (33 males) were recruited for this experiment. Prior to the experiment, the purpose and steps of the study were explained frankly and candidly, problems and risks that might arise from participation in the study were pointed out, the benefits that would result from participation in the study were explained, and the possibility of voluntarily withdrawing from the study at any time was clearly communicated and approved by the study subjects or guardians. They were divided into experimental group I and control group II, with 40 students in each group. The results of the study showed that after the implementation of the instruction, the experimental group I performed significantly better than the control group II. In addition, the experimental group II outperformed the control group II in terms of perceived intrinsic motivation, social presence, and cognitive load.","PeriodicalId":37324,"journal":{"name":"International Journal on E-Learning: Corporate, Government, Healthcare, and Higher Education","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"91287871","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In order to solve this problem, the research team proposed the idea of using simulation technology to improve the teaching quality. The finite element model of torsion experiment was built and simulated on a server. Colorful nephogram and rich data were obtained. The ODB (Open Data Base) shows that the further away from the axis, the higher the Mises stress value. The maximum Mises stress of the model is 44.68 MPa and occurs at the edge of the specimen. Subsequently, we conducted teaching design and teaching practice based on these visualization materials. The results show that the visual materials obtained from the simulation effectively improve the teaching quality of Engineering Mechanics. The interaction between the teacher and the students is significantly increased and the students’ motivation is significantly improved. The finite element method can repeatedly demonstrate the deformation behavior of the sample under torsional action. It not only eliminates the danger in the experiment, but also saves the test cost. Simulation technology can provide rich visual resources and rich data for E-education, which is worth exploring by more researchers.","PeriodicalId":37324,"journal":{"name":"International Journal on E-Learning: Corporate, Government, Healthcare, and Higher Education","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"87148586","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The traditional aircraft maintenance practice teaching needs to be operated on the real aircraft, which has the characteristics of high equipment cost, high risk and high training room requirements. The introduction of virtual simulation technology into aircraft maintenance practice teaching can directly avoid the above drawbacks. This paper introduces four modules of the civil aircraft virtual maintenance practice teaching platform in detail: aircraft maintenance system operation module, virtual 3D aircraft operation module, aircraft maintenance manual library module and teaching management module. Taking the teaching project \"Maintenance and troubleshooting of aircraft air conditioning components\" as an example, a blending teaching method is adopted based on the virtual simulation platform. The teaching practice showed that the virtual simulation platform can effectively simulate the real working situation of enterprises, and promote students' theoretical knowledge, practical operation ability and team cooperation.","PeriodicalId":37324,"journal":{"name":"International Journal on E-Learning: Corporate, Government, Healthcare, and Higher Education","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"73557871","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
