This study aims to determine the usability of GCash, Maya, and GrabPay and the satisfaction of its users. It also intends to determine the best e-wallet in terms of usability and satisfaction. An online survey was distributed through Google Forms to 165 e-wallet users wherein they answered a (1) System Usability Scale questionnaire and (2) a Satisfaction Rating questionnaire which were in Likert Scale form. Results show that the 3 e-wallets were significantly the same in overall design, content, and organization but differ in usability, overall functionality, and accessibility. GCash is the best in both usability (SUS Score = 80.55) and user satisfaction in terms of functionality and accessibility. Moreover, Maya and GrabPay were significantly lower in usability and functionality, and GrabPay was found to be the least accessible. It is recommended that Maya should mainly extend its features by not restricting those who do not have bank accounts or bank cards to make use of their services, while Grab should make great efforts on promoting their e-payment services by creating an independent application intended only for GrabPay.","PeriodicalId":37324,"journal":{"name":"International Journal on E-Learning: Corporate, Government, Healthcare, and Higher Education","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"80474815","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, existing works for simulating exoplanetary systems other than the solar system are still limited. In this paper, we propose PlanetTXT, a plain text-based planetary system simulation interface for astronomy edutainment purposes. Using PlanetTXT, users can write simple scripts like C programming language to describe the astronomic parameters for an arbitrary planetary system. After putting this script into the interpreter implemented by us, the 3D virtual planetary system simulator is recursively constructed and automatically loaded in the Unity 3D Editor so that the user can view this planetary system simulation in an immersive virtual environment. In the end, we systematically test the capability of the PlanetTXT interface through a group of experiments, the results show that the PlanetTXT interface is good at simulating different planetary systems such as the solar systems, the Kepler systems, and some other exoplanetary systems.","PeriodicalId":37324,"journal":{"name":"International Journal on E-Learning: Corporate, Government, Healthcare, and Higher Education","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"79179679","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Nowadays, students frequently use social media, including Instagram. However, most teacher mentions still doubt using Instagram for learning. Therefore a literature review is needed to provide a current overview of this platform. Based on the characteristic of social media, which rapidly develops and changes, the researchers consider that rapid review is the exact method to answer the questions raised. The articles were selected from Wiley, ERIC, Taylor, and IEEE databases, with requirements: 1) published from 2020 onwards; 2) passed a peer review process, 3) written in English and Indonesian. The article answers several questions: 1) What is Instagram, and how to use the features for learning? 2) What are the strategies to optimize Instagram for learning? and 3) What is the student's perception of Instagram for learning? The results show Instagram has been used in learning, and the students tend to respond positively.","PeriodicalId":37324,"journal":{"name":"International Journal on E-Learning: Corporate, Government, Healthcare, and Higher Education","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"74939700","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study surveyed students’ perception of online classes after having experienced the modality for one school year. An online questionnaire was developed and validated to collect data relevant for this research. The Cronbach's alpha value obtained is 0.85 suggesting an acceptable internal reliability. The survey went through evaluation by experts and was found to be valid and reliable. The quantitative and qualitative data gathered show that the students perceive online or virtual classes as innovative. It increases their autonomy and self-determination. It opens access to variety of platforms, online resources, and materials. However, there is a need to improve conduct of online classes to make learning easy and enjoyable, make it more engaging and motivating. Findings in this study reveal that the general perception of students on the conduct of online classes is neither positive nor negative. However, most of the negative feedback come from unreliable internet connectivity, physiological issues, financial demands, delayed feedback and issues with authenticity of examination scores that come along with online instruction. The results of this study can be used as a basis for development of interventions that could help address the issues that come along with online learning. Further research is recommended to fill the gaps created by the virtual teaching and learning arrangements to assist educators and institution administrators in drafting policies and strategies in managing the challenges of online modality.","PeriodicalId":37324,"journal":{"name":"International Journal on E-Learning: Corporate, Government, Healthcare, and Higher Education","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"77112278","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The biggest of these is the lack of opportunity to use the language, which means that young people lose the chance to practice it. This causes a gap in language inheritance, and the current University students are one of the main age groups responsible for that gap. Therefore, it is important to enhance the motivation of University students to learn the Hakka language. Besides, since the rapid increase in the use of new media by University students, it is an appropriate time to use new media to promote Hakka language. Therefore, if teachers can understand how to increase students' motivation to learn Hakka and their attitudes towards using new media, then teachers' teaching effectiveness will certainly improve. The purpose of this study is to propose a complete research process, the first step is to discuss three aspects in terms of Hakka language learning motivation and new media literacy. 1. To investigate the willingness of University students to access Hakka and the problems they face in language learning, and new media related to language learning commonly used by users and their characteristics; 2. Using a literature review to analyze the most effective method of learning a language and identify the necessary elements of new media that can be used to assist language learning; 3. Using the revised Delphi method to compile the important factors of Hakka language experts on the use of new media in Hakka language learning activities and classify them into levels, and the original literature review results consisted of 7 main criteria and 17 sub-criteria, reduced to 7 main criteria and 16 sub-criteria. Next, the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is used for the second part. Then, 20 respondents are asked to evaluate the 7 main criteria of value, expectation, emotion, functional consumption, critical consumption, functional production and sales literacy, and critical production and sales literacy on a 1-9 scale assessment form, and calculate the relative weights. Then, 20 experts are invited to evaluate the 7 main criteria of value, expectation, emotion, functional consumption, critical consumption, functional production and sales literacy and critical production and sales literacy on the 1-9 scale, and calculated the relative Weights. The results of the questionnaire are used to build a comparison matrix, and the eigenvalue and eigenvector are also computed. Then, consistency verification is applied to measure the degree of consistency among the pairwise comparisons by computing the consistency ratio. If the consistency ratio is over 0.1, the above steps are performed again for all levels in the hierarchy. However, since this was deemed to be unnecessary in this case because the CR was less than 0.1, the judgments are acceptable. According to the research results, University students attach the most importance to \"value\" in the use of new media in Hakk","PeriodicalId":37324,"journal":{"name":"International Journal on E-Learning: Corporate, Government, Healthcare, and Higher Education","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"72388621","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect of academic stress on the level of fatigue that students experience in online learning. A survey questionnaire that consists of the FAS questionnaire and academic stressors was distributed to 100 respondents in the National Capital Region, Philippines. The FAS score revealed that 92% of the respondent's experience fatigue while the remaining 8% do not have fatigue. The top 3 academic stressors that online students experience most of the time are fear of failure, self-expectations, and exams and deadlines. The ANOVA analysis results revealed a significant difference between the gender and the fatigue level of students in online learning. Correlation analysis results showed that all the academic stressors have a significant relationship with the fatigue level of students in online learning. Poor school- life balance has the highest correlation with the fatigue level of students followed by poor time management, and lack of mental care therefore, indicating that academic stress has an effect on the level of fatigue students experience in online learning.","PeriodicalId":37324,"journal":{"name":"International Journal on E-Learning: Corporate, Government, Healthcare, and Higher Education","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"81275946","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study is a quantitative descriptive study that focused on assessing and analyzing the implementation of e-Employee Discipline Procedure. Convenient purposive sampling technique was assigned to 150 employees who were employed during COVID-19 pandemic in Metro Manila as the respondents in this study. Furthermore, a survey was utilized to gather quantitative data. Moreover, a one-on-one interview using the data gathered in the statistical result was utilized to gather qualitative data. The demographic profile, majority are male (60%) who age 22 to 25 years old (34%), who are college graduates (48.7%), having an entry level job position (46.7%) and working in art/media/communication industry (35.3%) during the COVID-19 pandemic. The respondents find that the implementation of the e-Employee Discipline Procedure as fair and effective in terms of proper documentation procedures, handling of confidentiality, safety and security ( = 4.64; σ = 0.68). However, the challenge is that the respondents moderately agree that the procedure of employee discipline that is conducted remotely is somehow a bit far off with what is usually done in the office (face-to-face) ( = 4.38; σ = 1.30). The absence of physical touch and non-verbal cues like tone of voice, body language and hand gesture are something that the respondents are longing for. Pandemic really detached people from the warmth of each other. Conducting employee discipline which oftentimes has dealt with emotions remotely finds the respondents longing for the physical presence of being heard.","PeriodicalId":37324,"journal":{"name":"International Journal on E-Learning: Corporate, Government, Healthcare, and Higher Education","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"81242821","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
