The high failure rate of strategic partnerships emphasizes the need to identify and evaluate success factors at different stages of the alliance lifecycle. Additionally, directed content analysis is used to assess the findings. In the formation phase, the most critical factors are partner selection and choice of the most important governance form, whereas in the operation phase, relational capital, coordination, conflict management, and selecting the appropriate alliance people are crucial. Evaluation of alliance performance should be undertaken throughout the duration of the alliance's existence.","PeriodicalId":37182,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Economics and Business Administration","volume":"53 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"87244122","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Research questionnaires were developed and distributed to a sample of 300 older adults via WeChat of which 251 older adults wholly answered and returned the surveys. It was established that all the factors influencing the use of mobile commerce including perceived word of mouth, perceived trust, perceived risk, perceived usefulness, perceived ease to use, and perceived value of using mobile commerce have significant positive correlation with the use of mobile commerce among the older adults in China.","PeriodicalId":37182,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Economics and Business Administration","volume":"27 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"89394135","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For companies to start this development, their processes need to be digitalized, and this is a growing demand. In this sense, this work aims to analyze the digitalization of time measurement activity in industrial processes, which is also known as Time Study or Chronoanalysis. Thus, the purpose was to analyze the use of video technologies as a support for people who are responsible for carrying out time measurements in industrial activities. This analysis aimed at the automotive industry, in application to a manufacturer of structural components of automotive vehicles. The Design Science Research (DSR) method was applied to identify the most critical process of the company, and in this activity to carry out time measurements using a video reading software called Quick Time Player® from the company Apple®, with a proposal to analyze the micro automatic movements of the machine, helping to identify movements that could be eliminated or have reduced times, generating cycle time reduction and increased production capacity. Finally, it was identified that there were benefits in the proposed method when comparing the analysis of time measurements with the use of the software and the company's usual methods, resulting in greater precision of chronoanalysis and user satisfaction with the new method.","PeriodicalId":37182,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Economics and Business Administration","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"78036483","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

They can even spend their entire income to purchase goods or experiences. This changed when COVID-19 hammered the world. The enthusiastic shoppers became indifferent due to uncertainties. As consumers, including the most powerful consumer segment stopped behaving the way they used to, industries around the world continue to struggle, most especially non-essential retail sectors. This study aimed to provide retailers of shopping goods information about Millennials, their spending practices, the values they have, their attitude towards pandemic protocols, and their current lifestyle. Furthermore, as this group is highly heterogeneous, this study also provided retailers newly formed segments because of COVID-19. This study is a descriptive-correlational study. The data were gathered using a hybrid survey questionnaire distributed to infrastructure Millennial workers in Region 12. The main statistical tool used was hierarchical cluster analysis. The study concluded that there are three segments: The Balanced Workers, The Independent and Efficient Workers, and The Confident Workers. These segments have different characteristics in terms of spending, values, attitude, and lifestyles. It is recommended that shopping good retailers and marketing practitioners should adjust their marketing plans and strategies to address such changes in the buying behavior.","PeriodicalId":37182,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Economics and Business Administration","volume":"33 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"78606673","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
