Because of the low prevalence; there are only a few cases of mixed epithelial cancers published in the literature. This study presents the case of a mixed endometrioid\u0000(EC)/clear cell carcinoma (CCC), diagnosed in a woman with a complaint of low back pain and a history of infertility.\u0000\u0000\u0000\u0000We report the case of a 35-year-old woman who came to our clinic complaining of progressive back pain and a history of infertility. Imaging showed a left ovarian mass that was compatible\u0000with malignant tumors. The patient underwent open surgery and a frozen section evaluation of the tumor was done during the operation. The pathology result demonstrated mixed CCC/EC histology in\u0000the left ovary. We decided to perform a total abdominal hysterectomy as well as right salpingooophorectomy, omentectomy, bilateral pelvic lymphadenectomy, and para-aortic lymphadenectomy.\u0000Adjuvant chemotherapy was administrated postoperatively.\u0000\u0000\u0000\u0000Although epithelial cancers account for more than 90% of all ovarian cancers (OC), developing mixed forms of epithelial cancers is extremely rare, and there are little data available in the\u0000literature about their presentation and histopathological features. The main purpose of this article was\u0000to report a mixed CCC/EC and to discuss different aspects of this rare histologic type of OC. Her medical history included 2 previous term cesarean section\u0000deliveries. She reported having fever and chills three weeks after the cesarian delivery. She also developed nausea, vomiting, and epigastric pain. Abdominal examination revealed a 30×40mm, firm,\u0000and tender mass on the right side of the cesarian section suture without any discharge. She was admitted with metritis as a primary diagnosis at N.H.F hospital. The performed transvaginal ultrasonography reported a hetero-echo mass with a diameter of 38×30×37mm with several echogenic foci and\u0000cystic components in the right ovary. After that, an abdominopelvic CT scan was done, and a\u000030×40mm mass in the right ovary with non-homogeneous due to collection and abnormal density with\u0000local hematoma at the site of the previous cesarian section was reported. Due to suspicion of lesion,\u0000the surgery was performed with the diagnosis of fascia opening and right Tubo-ovarian abscess and\u0000the infectious discharge of the right ovary. Right salpingo-oophorectomy surgery was performed. She\u0000was admitted again with the complaint of infectious discharge from the right side of the suture and erythema for one month. The\u0000data collection tool was a demographic, midwifery, and fertility information questionnaire completed\u0000through interviews and medical records. Subjects’ classification was performed based on midwifery\u0000concepts and parameters described in RTGCS. The Robson's 10-group classification is based on simple obstetrical parameters [parity, previous CS, gestational age, onset of labour, fetal presentation, and\u0000number of fetuses].
