Due to the increased amounts of energy needs, the need for energy supply from renewable energy sources has increased in the world. Turkey with its growing industry, economy, and population has high energy demands thus investments on all renewable energy resources primarily on wind power has shown increase in the last decade. However there is still dependence on foreign energy resources. This paper examines the suitability of 54 coastal regions for offshore wind power installation. It has been implemented on an Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) in this paper. The Enigma machine is kind of poly alphabetic cipher. In other words, even if input is the same letter, output can be a different letter. Therefore, the Enigma machine can not be broken by using easy methods of cryptanalysis as frequency analysis. The Enigma machine in this paper has common properties with the Enigma machine which was used in the Second World War. The only difference is that it has been implemented on an FPGA rather than a mechanical implementation. Data-intensive structure and easy of implementation make Discrete Haar Wavelet Transform convenient to distribute fundamental operations to multi-CPU and multi-GPU systems. In this paper, the wavelet transform was ported in a compute-efficient way to CPU cluster and programmable GPU cluster by utilizing MPI and CUDA respectively. Experimental studies conducted as part of the parallelization strategies for two-dimensional Discrete Haar Wavelet Transform show that the total running time required to process all rows and columns of an image with different size is significantly decreased on the GPU cluster when compared to the its counterparts on a single CPU, single GPU and CPU cluster. In this paper, improved fractional order PID controller is proposed for the control of AUV motion with six degrees of freedom (DOF). Genetic algorithm and Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) are employed to find suboptimal coefficients of FOPID controller to improve performance of the AUV motion. These optimal adjusted coefficients of FOPID controllers minimize the step response characteristics such as maximum deviation and settling time. In the previous works, MFCCs were computed commonly from a single windowed (Hamming) DFT spectrum for source microphone identification. Emphasis on Multitaper MFCC features led us to extract intrinsic source microphone features obtained from non-speech segments. Streamer patterns were computed to be applied for the fractal analysis on streamer. In this paper, the fractal dimension of streamer patterns in transformer oil was estimated based on box-counting. Streamer patterns were obtained from initiation stage to breakdown stage, in a 5, 10, 15 and 35 mm needle-to-plane gap, under a dc voltage of 30 kV and evaluated with 2D box count. We show that graphical processing units (GPU) could be costly and power inefficient for workloads such as spatial domain video filtering tasks that take advantage of parallel computing. In this study, we analyze a simple video filtering application on a low-cost parallel programming platform called \"Parallella\" which includes a Xilinx Zynq all programmable system-on-chip (SoC) along with a parallel processing architecture named \"Epiphany\" co-processor which includes 16 small RISC cores. We compare it to other hardware and software alternatives in terms of cost, power, and performance. The proposed MOS-only allpass filter offers inherently very accurate magnitude and phase characteristics at very high frequencies. However, MOS-only active filter suffers from an inherent low frequency limitation. In order to address this issue, the modification technique allowing the derivation of MOS-only filter which allow extension of the operating frequency towards lower frequency region is proposed.
