A qualitative study has been designed to identify possible differences in this perspective in the Degree in Physiotherapy at the University of Cordoba. The students who have worked with DT based on original data express great satisfaction with their DT and state that it has modified their perspective, because they have known how academic and clinical knowledge of Physiotherapy is generated. Those who have not handled original data are also equally satisfied, but do not recognize changes in the way they perceive the profession or in the academic environment. Thus, the realization of DT with original data can have beneficial repercussions in the academic and professional perspective of the student in the Degree in Physiotherapy.","PeriodicalId":369305,"journal":{"name":"Innovaciones docentes en tiempos de pandemia.","volume":"25 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125964052","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this sense, to enhance motivation, it seems more important to work on specific competencies from a transversal point of view, less specific approach that allows students to glimpse the potential of their studies and their relationships among peers. This article shows the results of two transversal activities carried out in the first year of the Degree in Studies of Architecture, where teamwork is essential for its delivery. The results have allowed to identify both strengths and weaknesses of each practice thanks to its mixed approach (quantitative / qualitative), which will allow a redesign of the activities for the next course.","PeriodicalId":369305,"journal":{"name":"Innovaciones docentes en tiempos de pandemia.","volume":"122 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121963704","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This reality is more evident in laboratory practical sessions, where students should apply theoretical knowledge to practical cases. The current work aims to apply the teaching methodology \"Blended learning\" that combines face-to-face teaching with online, in order to improve the acquisition of transversal competence \"Application and practical thinking\", as well as a greater internalization of learned concepts. The teaching methodology was implemented in undergraduate students, specifically in the laboratory sessions of the subject: Animal and Human Physiology (11109) of the second year of the Degree in Biotechnology at the Universitat Politècnica de València. The results obtained showed that the application of the teaching methodology allowed the development of practical thinking, since the categorical average grade was \"A: Excellent\". In addition, there was an improvement in the qualification of the note of the theoretical-practical evaluation, indicating a better internalization of the learned concepts. Therefore, it can be concluded that the “Blended learning” methodology has been an effective methodology for not only improving the acquisition of transversal competence, but also for academic qualification.","PeriodicalId":369305,"journal":{"name":"Innovaciones docentes en tiempos de pandemia.","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131845612","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Abstract - In this work, we present a set of measures adopted in the course “Flotabilidad y Estabilidad” from Naval Architecture degree at UPM, oriented towards enhancing the capacity of students to deal with practical problems and to understand the issues associated to them. Precisely, we describe: a) A complementary activity introduced in the course 2019/20, where an experiment with a real ship is performed; b) How the practical contents have been adapted to the online format as a consequence of COVID pandemic. Such a change has a negative impact on the objectives that are pursued. In order to minimize it, a novel idea is introduced. This is based on making the students perform their own experiment at home, giving them the opportunity to realize a practical application, despite the online format. In this article, the fulfilment rate of the objectives is evaluated. Finally, conclusions and future work proposals are drafted.","PeriodicalId":369305,"journal":{"name":"Innovaciones docentes en tiempos de pandemia.","volume":"119 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133918950","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this sense the development of competences such as computational thinking or STEAM related skills becomes critical. However, it is not enough to define a set of activities in some subjects to facilitate this, but to evaluate if the development of such competences or the integration of STEAM in learning pathways is carried out or not successfully. This paper describes the evaluation tasks applied in the context of the RoboSTEAM project. The validation of the project activities and outcomes was carried out during some pilot phases, on which the project partnership applied different assessment instruments and such tools, and the results obtained are presented in this paper. As conclusions it is possible to see that the educational and socioeconomic context may have an impact in the evaluation, regardless of the age or academic level of students.","PeriodicalId":369305,"journal":{"name":"Innovaciones docentes en tiempos de pandemia.","volume":"359 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132700513","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this competition, university students have to design a racing motorcycle. Not only is the motorcycle designed and manufactured, but an industrial project must also be developed for the commercialization of the motorcycle. The developed project is evaluated from a technical, economic and also aesthetic point of view by an external tribunal made up of experts in the sector. In addition, the prototypes are also evaluated in dynamic tests and a race. The UMA Racing Team has participated in five editions of this competition with outstanding results. For the students it represents an opportunity to work on a real project with limited deadlines and budget and to expose the result of their work to professionals who have extensive knowledge of the sector. The interaction between students, companies and professionals contributes to the participants achieving new skills and abilities that are highly valued by companies. The experience confirms that the incorporation of the participants into the labor market has been very satisfactory.","PeriodicalId":369305,"journal":{"name":"Innovaciones docentes en tiempos de pandemia.","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131780624","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This has occurred at a technological level and at a methodological level. Among the latter, a methodological perspective has been developed those questions, from the postulates of critical pedagogy, educational practices seeking higher levels of participation among students, justice and equality. In this work we start from Conell's positioning to attend to curricular justice, which is why an experience carried out during the 2019-2020 academic year is presented in two subjects of the fourth grade of primary education in which a curricular negotiation process was carried out that implied the contents of the subjects and the assessment systems. The results show that there is a positive assessment of the students towards this type of proposal, although significant differences have been found in the assessments according to the subject in which said proposal was made. These differences are due to various factors, including the type of subject (theoretical; practical), the teacher's explanations and his methodology in each subject. Despite this, a high motivation and participation has been found among the students.","PeriodicalId":369305,"journal":{"name":"Innovaciones docentes en tiempos de pandemia.","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128213844","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
